Lost and Found
The war had finished a while ago, but some people just couldn't get over what had happened. And Gray was no exception. Every night he had a dream, a nightmare, about what could've happened if she had died.
Gray had tried to fall asleep every night, but he would always drift off to dreamland, with his girlfriend in his arms. He'd wake up the exact same way, except for this morning. This morning was different.
Gray had woken up to the sun shining on his face, making him groan. To him, he would much rather be woken by his girlfriend, pouting, saying that he needed to wake up.
He tried wrapping his arms around his girlfriend, but ended up hugging himself. He immediately opened his eyes, trying to look for her.
"This is new," he mumbled to himself. He swung his legs to the side of the bed and got up, stretching. He walked down the stairs, yawning. Once he walked into the kitchen, he noticed it was empty.
He face scrunched up in confusion, so he started looking around the house, hoping she was somewhere.
But, he didn't find her. Not even a trace.
He quickly put on his clothes and ran to the guild. Maybe she was there, Gray had no idea.
He opened the guild doors and traced his eyes all over the guild, but not finding a trace of his girlfriend.
He walked up to the tall, white-haired bartender and asked, "Mira, have you seen Juvia?"
She nodded and said, in a sweet voice, "yep! She went on a mission. Saying something about 'needing money for shopping.'"
Gray let out a breath he didn't know he was holding in. For a minute, he tough his nightmare had come true.
He waited all day for Juvia to come back, and it was almost dark when she did.
She had walked into the guild, with one or two scratches, but other then that, she was fine.
"Hello minna!" She greeted everyone and walked to the bar, getting a few 'hey's from her guild mates.
She sat at a bar stool and had ordered a water, thinking that her boyfriend must've gone home already.
Suddenly, someone had hugged her from behind and whispered, "thank Mavis your safe."
Juvia giggled at that, "and why wouldn't Juvia be, Gray~Sama?"
"I woke up alone and thought something had happened," Gray responded.
She turned around, knowing exactly what he was talking about and said, "Juvia is fine and will always be fine, Gray~Sama."
"I know, but-" Gray tried saying.
"Gray~Sama will always protect Juvia, and Juvia will always protect Gray~Sama." Juvia interrupted.
"Yeah, but-"
"And Juvia is alive and well. This," she said and lifted her shirt a little, showing her scar and pointing at it, "proves it."
She smiled warmly at him and he couldn't help return the smile.
"Yeah, your right," Gray said.
Gray caressed Juvia's cheek and kissed her lightly, but passionately.
Gray pulled away and before either of them could say something, Natsu yelled, "oi! Stripper! Get a room!"
That ticked Gray off, so he ended up walking towards him, stripping, now starting a fight.
Juvia giggled as she saw the love of her life walking away.
