The moment he spoke his name, it was as if a million fragments of memories coursed through my veins, snapping me back to reality like a punch to the face. My heart raced faster than ever, and my body began to tremble.
I could feel the warmth of his breath on my ear as he grinned, a dangerous grin, "What's wrong, princess?"
I swallowed hard.
Fucking hell, is he my enemy in this world?
I need to stay strong, Miura.
I bit my lower lip and wrenched myself free from his grip, catching him by surprise. The tension in the air was so thick it felt like I was drowning. I shoved him away, and he took a step back.
In that moment, when our eyes met, it was as if every ounce of air had been stolen from my lungs. He was dressed in a suit, his shirt unbuttoned halfway, his hair messy and damp with sweat, that dangerous grin freezing me in place.
He was darkness incarnate.
He was so fucking beautiful and sexy. He ran his hand through his hair, his gaze never leaving me. "Who would've thought the little princess would dare come back?"
I was confused, but I quickly masked it with a neutral expression.
What does he mean by that?
I looked at him seriously. "There's no reason for me not to return."
He grinned, but it wasn't in my favor. "I thought I made it clear that I didn't want to see you here again."
What the hell?
He stepped forward, his expression turning deadly. I took a step back, moving away until I was pressed against the sofa once more. His chest collided with mine.
He was warm, and I was cold.
He looked down at me, and I looked up. His gaze held nothing but emptiness, and it felt like a knife twisting in my heart.
Where was the look of love?
I wanted to cry, but no.
Gojo, you had to endure this nine times...
I held his gaze.
He placed a hand on my chest, and I froze. "Hey, wtf..." But then I suddenly felt him activate his Cursed Technique.
I looked at him, alarmed, and quickly activated my ice technique, freezing his hand. He raised an eyebrow, holding that look for a moment before glancing down at his frozen hand.
He stepped back, shook off the ice, and then simply walked toward the door. He paused and said coldly, "Leave this city today, or I will kill you."
I stopped breathing. I turned around, my soul aching, but he was already gone, leaving me confused and shaken. I bit my lip until I fell to my knees, unable to comprehend how this situation had caused me so much stress.
This will be more hard than I thought
