▶Chapter 6: Who We Are...◀
Christy
I quietly sighed, looking at the door one last time. It's dark throughout the house other than the light on the staircase.
Aaron said he would be home a few hours ago... maybe he had to help out somewhere? My feet lightly stepped on the stairs and into the bedroom. It was quiet.
A little hand hit the side of my stomach, making me giggle quietly. "Good-night, sweetiepie." I softly said before lying down in bed.
"You better watch out...
You better just try...
You better be right.
I'm still in the fight...
We are coming to destroy you!" A maniacal laugh rang out.
I spin around sparatically, searching for the voice. My breathing sped up as the laugh was getting closer. Everything was growing into a darker red as I stopped, but the world around me continued to spin.
"Mommy..." A gentle child's voice said. Her voice was similar to mine. My breathing was in a hyperventilation as I turned around. She was the only thing not spinning, her pitch black hair longer than mine. Then, violet colored ears. She looked sad. "Mommy why do you hurt me? Am I not good enough?"
I felt tears burn my eyes as I went up to her. "I'm not hurting you, sweetie..."
"Yes you are!" She shrieked. Suddenly everything stopped spinning. "You don't want me... Why do you not want me...?" She whispered.
"I want you, honey... why wouldn't I?" I asked again, touching her ice cold cheek.
"Because of daddy leaving you..." Her body started shaking and she suddenly turned. She growled as she lunged at me.
I screamed, rapidly sitting up. Swear drenched me as I heard running steps.
"Christy!?" Aaron worriedly said, bursting into the room.
"She...Knight...Upset...Alone...!" I hyperventilated as I tried to talk, my body shaking.
Aaron went over and hugged me. I started crying, holding onto him. My mind was sparatic, fear never settling. Not yet...
He softly hummed, gently pulling me onto his lap and sitting on the bed, rubbing my back comfortingly. My crying started to cease as I closed my eyes. He smiled as he laid back, holding me still.
"I'm right here, Christina." He softly said to me as my head gently rested in the crook of his neck. I listened to his voice as he hummed, it having a comforting tone.
One of my hands rested on my stomach. He put his hand just beside mine. The baby softly kicking at our hands. I smiled gently, closing my eyes contwbtly, moving my hand onto his.
"I love you, Christina." Aaron whispered into my ear. Before I could answer, I was already asleep.
Aaron
I held Christy close, forgeting about everything but her. She needs me right now...
All I can remember from earlier was saying that I would meet her at home. I don't remember anything else after that... until I walked inside. Everything else is a huge blur through time. I KNOW something must had happened. because there is a space of time that the sun was high on the sky and then the moon rising in its place.
My fingers gently stroked her hair as I gently set her down on the bed. I looked to the edge of the bed, seeing the dark colored blanket hanging off. I whidyly my led it up and pulled it over the two of us.
Christy lightly flinched at the blanket going over her, but relaxed as I slid my arm around her waist.
"Good night." I whispered into her ear as I fell asleep.
My eyes shot open. I looked around. I was in bed... like I usually was when you wake up from a dream. But, the room was extremely different...
There were violet and white colored sheets, my clothes hanging on the chair across the room were collecting dust while a pair of strange clothes were in the closet.
"Morning, Sleepy head." A young woman's voice gigled from the doorway. I looked over, realizing it didn't sound like CC...
"Lady Aphmau?" I questioned, sitting up. She smiled lovingly as she walked over, her arms crossed in an unusual way. Over the top of her stomach, just like Christy does because of her pregnancy...
"You okay, sweetheart?" She asked as she touched my arm.
I immediately pulled it away. "Sweetheart?" She asked again.
"Why are you calling me that?" I said, questioning her sanity. Suddenly a sparkle came from her hand and mine. I looked at them, seeing identical wedding rings. "What the?" I said, looking at her.
She looked discouraged. "Dreaming about Christy again?" Her tone was sharp.
"No, just why do we have rings..." I said, trying to get an answer.
"We're married, Aaron..." When the words left her mouth, my face contorted.
"No, we aren't." I said as I stood up, pulling my clothes on. Aphmau frowned. "What? We are!" She said.
"No. This isn't real. I don't love you that way! Or in any way!" I said, walking towards the door.
She frowned as she grabbed my arm. "Where are you going?" I stopped before looking at her. "I'm going home."
She rolled her eyes. "You are home though..." She pouted.
I pulled my arm away from her as I walked away, downstairs and out the door. I didn't want anything to do with her. This is even weirder than anything she's tried.
Everything looked odd. Things were tinted pink, even though I only tolerate it because Christy kind of likes it. I walked up to a familiar house, which was mine and CC's.
For some reason, I knocked, because maybe something was up. There wasn't an answer until the door softly open d. I removed quietly, a dark place being opened into.
"Um... Christina? Hello?" I asked, walking in. Suddenly, as my feet got about two or three steps in, the door slammed, suddenly everything going black.
I raised a brow, looking around.
"Why are you here, where did you go...?. A young woman's voice said. it was slow and very sad. "My daughter thinks her father is dead... why did you leave me alone?" Her voice was even quieter before she started to softly cry.
I accidentally bumped into something, as if on purpose, a dark, Nether colored light dimly lit the room. It was weird, until I saw two girls. One was Christy and the other was a young girl.
The girl had very long, pitch black hair, but her skin was my tone and covered in scars. My heart sank at the sight. "Christy, hey, you okay?"
"Why do you care... you left me and married someone else, then left your own daughter behind..." Her voice suddenly cracked.
This made me confused. "I have never left you... when?!"
She sniffled. "Two years ago..." She whispered. The young girl suddenly looked at me before I yelped.
Her yes we're black and blank as her body stood up. "You... killed. me!" She screamed as she lunged at me.
My eyes opened to the dark with me slightly flinching. My breathing was slightly sped up.
"Aaron, are you okay..." Christy's quiet voice sleepily said. She moved, sitting up. "It's... 2 in the morning..." She yawned.
I realized I had moved over to the other side of the bed. She looked over patiently, sitting up.
"It's um... it's n-nothing..." I softly said, moving over to her. She raised a slight brow. She softly sat up, her stomach in her way again. I chuckled lightly.
"Can we do something? Cause you always do this to me and, it's calming."
I chuckled, knowing what she meant. She giggled lightly, smiling. My head softly laid on her lap. She giggled, looking down to me. "Hey... I love you." She softly whispered.
"I love you too." I smiled back
"Then prove it. Scream it to the world, Aaron." She softly said with a smile.
I chuckled before sitting up and moving closer to her. "I love you." I whispered.
She looked puzzled as I smiled, pulling back to look at her. "Wh-Why did you whisper it to me?" She questioned.
I chuckled. " Because you are my world." I said softly as I sat in front of her. She looked down with blush dotting her cheeks. I gently smiled as I kissed her nose. "I love you, honey."
She giggled sleepily. "Love you too, bubba."

"You better just watch... you better not try... you could just die, I'm telling you why!" Sasha's dad's figure cackled. "Sasha is the girl that will die!" He called even more as he slid the knife rapidly across my neck.
I screamed in pain for a split second. My body hit the floor in an echo all around him and I...
