Justice's POV

I wake up to my anoying alarm clock. Ugggg another day. I hop out of bed and run to the bathroom. I turn on the water and let it get hot i take out my razor blade and drag it across my wrist.
One for waking up this morning
Two for letting my parents die
Three for not killing myself already
Four for letting people push me around
Five for coming home after school every day
Six for letting these people foster me
Seven for being me
I look at at all the blood coming out of the many cuts on my arm. Hopped into the shower after i clean my morning ritual off the floor. I washed my hair. I let the water hit the open cuts washing the blood away. I took my wash cloth and put a little rose body wash on it and washed my body. Once i hit the cuts i felt a stinging pain. "Ow." I wisper. Open wounds and soap just as painful as lemon juice in a paper cut. I hop out and grab my towel. I wrap it around me and exit my bathroom into my room. I walk over to my closet and pick out a long sleeve navy blue crop top and a pair of white short shorts. Its febuary but I live in cali so its like 80+ degrees in the winter. I grab my penny board and quietly open the door trying not tho wake my foster parents. I run towards the door. I start boarding towards my friends mike and kris house. I takes about 5 minutes walking about 2 penny boarding. I go there for every meal, because i trust its not poised. I reach their house and walk right in. I see them sitting at the island counter i sit down next to kris were my food was placed and I dig in.
"Well hello to you too." Kris says
"Mhmm." I say shovling the eggs in my mouth.
"So you come in without knocking sit down and eat our food how does that work?" Mike asks.
"I've done it for 8 years now where have you been."
I ask.
"Whatever im gonna get dressed." He says walking up the stairs.
"What bug crawed down his throat this morning." I ask kris.
"Racheal broke up with him last night." Kris responds
"So because he can't keep a girl he's gonna treat me like trash." I say placing my plate in the sink.
"Well you wanna get a head start so you don't have to hear his attitude." Kris asked
"Yeah." I say grabing my penny board off the chair next to me.
"Your really gonna penny board to school." He ask
"Well i don't have a regular boad the wardens sold it to get gas money." I say.
"Come here." He says head towards the garage. "This was suposed to be a birthday gift but i don't want you to be falling every time you hit a bump." He says picking up a board and handing it to me.
"Omg your the best i love it." I say.
"I know i am. We stopping at Amandas place of nah." He asks
"Yeah she says she has news or something. Some thing about Matthew." I say. He looks at me with a grin. He knew i had a crush on matthew." Do you know something i don't." I ask
"Yep. But i think Mr. Espinosa should ask you himself." He says.
"What ever." We start riding towards Amandas house she lives like a minute from the school. We get to her neighbors and we see her sitting on her pourch head in her hands. I walk up to her to see tears falling through her fingers. I sit next to her."hey whats wrong you shouldn't be crying on a day like this." I ask putting my had on her shoulder.
"My parents are fighting a again and they started throwing stuff. Plus jack(g) just broke up with me, and on top of that my prom dress for tonight is ruined." She says.
"You can have my dress. Im not going to prom. And who cares about jack he just a low life you deserve some one like Nash." I say. Nash was my first boyfriend we decided it was better if we just went back to being friends because it was akward.
"Wait what your not going to prom but why?"she asks
"I didn't get asked. "
"Your going to prom ill just barrow my cousins old dress. Plus some one might ask you to day." She says. I role my eyes and pick up my new board.
"Lets go." I say placing the board on the ground. We all started towards the school. We reached the schools parking lot so we got off our boards. I look at the schools enterance to see the foot ball team and matthew standing there with a single red rose in his hand. Now some super hot and special girl gets to go with my crush. I walk closer to the entrance. A smile appears on his face, what is he up to.
"Hi Justice. You look good today. Then again you do every day."he says staring at me up and down
"Hi Matthew. You look good today to."i say im starting to get curious.
"So um you know that the prom is tonight and well i don't have a date." He says my hopes start to rise
"And." I say hoping he'll continue.
"Well. Guys." He says. I look at all the guys. They unzipper ther red nike sweat shirts. Each shirt had a word on it.
"Read it out loud." Amanda says.
"Will. You. Go. To. Prom. With. #81. !" I read out loud. I look at matt whos down on one nee hold the rose out.
"Would you like to." He asks
"I would love Espinosa. Or should i say #81" he jumps up and hugs me. Lifting me off the ground. I dont get many hugs but when i do i enjoy them.
"She said yes." He says putting me down.
"Now tell us Mr. Mattew Espinosa how are you feeling now."Kris asks like a talk show host. I then reconized every body was filming us for the promposal videos
"Like the luckiest 16 year old in the world." Matt says interlocking our fingures.
"And Ms. Justice White how do you feel?" Kris asks
"Well i'm just so shoked and happy. Im still pretty speachless." I say. Every body awwed and stopped recording.
"So whatcha wearing tonight?" Matthew asks swinging his arm over my shoulder. I bent my arm to hold his hand
"Wouldn't you like to know." I say sarcasticaly
"Yes thats why i ask."he says.
"You have to wait and see.Lets just say its sparkly and very blue." I say
"Ok then we will match. So whats you address so i can pick you up."
"Well accualy you'll be picking me up at amandas house. Um i believe your her neighbor." I say
" yeah. How did you know?" He ask
"Well i've been friends with amanda since i was put in my crapy foster home about 8 years ago. And well when i needed a get away i stayed there and i would see you playing with your dog in the backyard of the neighbor." I say the bell rings
"See you at lunch my princess." He says blowing me a kiss
"Ok my prince." I blush.
