Y/n's POV~
-1 week later-
(I apologize, I forgot to mention that N/n means Nickname)

WARNING: Natural Disaster mentions and action is included (Warning Just in case for those that don't like it or is uncomfortable with it)

It was a normal sunny day, as usual in this town. Although the urge to stay inside invested my mindset, I still pushed myself to leave my house, for I had nothing better to do today. For no reason at all, I really wanted to see Cuddles again. It seemed like ever since we first met, I wanted to spend every moment with him, and I wouldn't call it an inconvenience either. Sure I was new, and he yelled at me from his anger getting to him, but our bond is like no other. He has a bunch of friends honestly, but the way he treats me is different, especially since we're in a relationship.

I threw on another one of my f/o and made my way to the kitchen, making my f/f real quick. Once I finished, I got my f/d and speedily ate my food before heading out the door. Sure it wasn't like it was an emergency, but I'm just not fully out of the stage of acting childish sometimes!

I was Making my way downtown
Walking fast, faces pass and I'm homebound, Staring blankly ahead, Just making my way, Making a way through the crowd (Just a small piece of a specific song by Vanessa Carlton😌). As I ran down the sidewalk, I swear I felt a drop of rain touch the tip of my nose, but I brushed it off, I had a place to go anyway, nothing much. I said 'Hello' and 'Goodmorning' to those that walked by me, but sooner than you know it, I was stopped in my tracks. I almost tumbled on the figure in front of me, but luckily I didn't, but it's also a person, or should I say People, I've come to realize I don't think I make much contact with.

It was those two raccoon looking twin brothers, they were carrying a cow, until they eventually noticed me and grinned "Why hello there, Miss. Is there something you need?" The one with the fedora sarcastically played, He bowed lifting his hat above his head as a greeting before putting it back on, I rolled my eyes, already sensing his oblivious manners "No. I'm just trying to find a store to shop at. I'm just trying to find my way there on my own since I'm still pretty new here. I didn't mean to intervene on you two's...Cow nurturing?" I replied, still questionably wondering why they're carrying a cow. The two of them looked at each other, then sneakily laughed while tossing the poor mammal to the side, in which it left me confused, but they brought their attention back on me "Well, lead the way." The other one spoke. 'Let's see. What were their names again? Nifty and Whifty. No...Harry and Marv?..No! That's definitely not it.' I thought to myself confusingly. Now I know Cuddles introduced me to everyone before, but there was just so many, I could only remember so much. And what do they mean by 'Lead the way'? Are they gonna follow me? And what about the cow they were carrying? Oh well, Nevermind. I decided to continue walking, the two lingering behind me.

                       ~Time Skip~

I made it to the nearest store, well, We made it to the nearest store, since those twins decided to follow me. Maybe I should ask them to recall their names once we get inside. Next thing you know, the Doors to the place slid open and the two of them dashed inside immediately, separating from each other. I looked from side to side as they went their own directions, but again, I brushed it off and continued to do my shopping, it was none of my business on what they were doing anyway, or at least I don't think so. I grabbed a few snacks and more food and drinks off of shelves and out of fridges that I thought I'd need, I even got new pots and pans as well! Once I finished, I was prepared to head to the checkout, but I heard sudden alarms go off. It was those two raccoons robbing Lumpy at the checkout. I watched horrifyingly as they stole all the money from the Cashier. I snapped out of my small trance and went up to them "What are you doing!!??" I questioned "We're robbin' the place! What else does it look like?! Now get down!" The one with the fedora shouted, and I obeyed. "I didn't even catch your names..." I quietly spoke. The other twin looked at me and kneeled down next to where I lied "Lifty and Shifty." He reintroduced "Ooooooooh. I was close!" I spoke, He looked at me like I didn't have all my marbles, but worked alongside Shifty to continue taking the money, but this Bear with an Afro jumped on top of them, knocking them both to the ground.

With that, I stood up, catching a better sight of who that was. I barely recognized him in that police outfit, but it was Disco Bear! He handcuffed both Lifty and Shifty, causing them to groan in annoyance "Man, you two never get caught, but that all changes today, because your..." He stopped, snapping his fingers and winking "Under Arrest!" He finished in a 'Cool' manner. Lifty and Shifty rolled around on the floor, struggling to get up "Ugh! Come on, Dude! You suck!" Lifty spat. Disco Bear placed his hands on his hips and shook his head in disappointment "I don't take any offence from that. I will drive you to jail faster than a train reaching the next station!" He said acting 'Cool' again "DUDE! YOU LITERALLY SUCK!" Shifty added. Aww, can't they at least appreciate that he's trying? The poor bear is probably practicing on robbers to make friends, I'll definitely talk to him at some point. I just Hope Cuddles was alright, I really wanted to see him today and I think it might rain.

Before we could do anything else, We hear ANOTHER Alarm go off, but it's not just any alarm...it's a siren...and that siren is not linked to this building whatsoever. We all turned our heads towards the entrance to the place and saw a large tornado that looked to be only 50 feet away while lighting struck multiple times! I screamed and fell backwards, hitting the floor. Lumpy ran outside the doors and motioned for more people to come inside for safety. I creeped my way to the far back of the store, visualizing some of the mess that the two robbers made, but I continued to hide anyway. I covered my face and swayed side to side, mumbling compliments to myself, hoping I could make myself feel better. Sadly, it didn't work as I only panicked more. This is more than rain, IT'S A FULL ON NATURAL DISASTER!! I felt a hand/paw touch my shoulder lightly, making me jump and quiver, but I looked up to become face to face with Mime. He smiled as his tail wagged, he shaped a balloon into a heart and handed it to me, I gladly took it and thanked him. I wasn't a big fan of clowns OR Mimes, but this deer right here stuck with me for the rest of the time, but as the storm went on and on, the more scared I got. I would grab his sleeve, Hug him tightly, heck, I would even play with his deer tail as a distraction for my worries, and he somewhat didn't mind it all.

We were now playing a game with each other, since I brought my notebook, and we played tic tac toe with a pencil drawing after each other, I was 'X' and Mime was 'O'. He kept beating me! Before I could complain, Cuddles appeared out of nowhwere and separated us, he hugged me tightly "Hi N/n!" He greeted, I was surprised that he called me that, that was new! Excited and relieved, I hugged him back "Hi Cuddles!! Oh thank goodness your here, I was so scared! I'm so glad your okay." I squeezed him tighter, afraid to let go "O-Of course I'm okay! Why wouldn't..I be?" He struggled to breathe, I realized how tight I was squeezing him and let go, allowing him to take a huge gasp for air. He glanced over at Mime, then me "I can see that your..spending time with Mime." He smiled, I thought I seen his eye twitch "Oh! Yeah, I am! He's really fun once you get to know him!" I replied "Yeah..'Fun'." He mimicked my voice at the end, I was not enjoying his sudden change in his mood. It's like he was annoyed from the fact that I had a partner during this chaos that ISN'T Cuddles himself. All Mime did was throw it off with a smug look on his face, irritating Cuddles much more, but before a fight could be created, I broke it up by offering a game of hot potato. We all agreed to play it together.

We used an actual potato because Lumpy insisted to let us get one. We sat down, just the 3 of us "I'll go first!" I offered, they nodded their head, Cuddles though, gave this sly look for some reason..Hmm. I tossed the potato to Cuddles, and he tossed it to Mime, then he tossed it to me. We tossed it around to each other for a bit, before it got back to Mime again. Mime was about to toss it to me, until Cuddles randomly Tumbled on top of Mime, making him drop the potato. "Oops! My mistake! I must've dozed off for a moment. Just a power nap." He apologized, Mime forgave him and we continued to play the game. As we passed it to each other one by one, Cuddles, again, tumbled on top of Mime when he had the potato, making him drop it..again.."Aww! Not again! Sorry, I thought I saw a bug!" He played it off, Mime forgave him again as we continued to play the game. It happened time after time after time, Cuddles tumbled, jumped, rolled, many more. It annoyed me enough to the point I suggested we did something else. Now that you start to think about it, was he jealous about the time me and Mime was spending together? He seems to be pretty skeptical about the Deer being around unless he wants me completely to himself. That would be a tad bit ridiculous...Wouldn't it be?

We decided to now do a contest on who could do the most cartwheels, and I'm sure Mime will enjoy this one! He's all about tricks for fun! Mime motioned for me to pick him to go first, in which I most surely chose him. He clapped his hands/paws and jumped around, spacing himself away from us before getting in position. He made sure me and Cuddles was watching "You got this Mime!!" I cheered, making Cuddles growl to himself quietly. Mime nodded and had begun to do his cartwheels down the isle we stood in. Cuddles grabbed condiments such as Mustard, Mayonnaise, and more at Mime, making him slip on one of them and slide towards a stack of cans, knocking the whole thing over. Lumpy ran over, shocked from the sight, a tear slipping down his face "It took me a whole day to stack that up." He sadly admitted. I gasped, turning to Cuddles and crossing my arms "What is up with you!? First you push Mime away from me, then make him fail Hot potato over and over, Now you slip him up on his cartwheels?? Why!!??" I questioned, expecting an answer, but the rabbit only remained silent, smiling smug like. I waited a moment ". . .Well?!" I asked again. "Okay! Okay, I'm sorry! I'm just jealous! I didn't want to see you hanging out with another male because I didn't want you to like him more than me! So...I acted like everything I did was a mistake...I just wanted you all for myself. I'm sorry. Really." He admitted truthfully. I was mad, really mad for all that he did, but my expression softened and I kissed him on the cheek "It's okay my funny Bunny. I know you didn't mean it." I forgave him, making him giggle from feeling tickled.

"THE STORM IS OVER!" Lumpy blurted out. Sniffles turned off security and walked up to us, I'm guessing he also works here. "The storm is over! We are all sa-" before he could finish, Lightning struck through the building and right next to him, making his fur stand out from the rational heat from the strike being too close. He adjusted his glasses and shivered, turning security back on. "Uuuh, Let's wait a little while before listening to Lumpy's assumptions because that lightning struck could've killed me, let's not touch me, People! Do NOT touch me, I may have electric powers!" He instructed, straight forward and fast, Me and Cuddles laughed at Sniffles' funniness before the Tornado broke a piece of the wall off, ditto for the roof. Me and Cuddles froze because it was right behind us, we turned around and started screaming. Everyone in the store tried to crawl away from it, As me and Cuddles tried the same, Cuddles was closest to the tornado, so it started to pull him in, soon making him hover over the ground. Before he could fly away, I grabbed his wrist and tried pulling him towards me.

Cuddles looked back, then at me, then sighed "Y/N!! IT'S NOT GONNA WORK!! YOU'LL JUST GET PULLED IN TOO!!" He shouted, I looked at him like he was crazy "ARE YOU A MANIAC?? I'M NOT GONNA LET GO!! I'M STRONG ENOUGH!!" I shouted back, my feet slipping on the smooth material of the floor of the store. A few metal carts got pulled into the tornado as we speak "YOU..You have to let go. I don't want to take the risk of you getting hurt!" Cuddles mourned sadly "CUDDLES-" "Y/n! I know your desperate, but I'll be okay! I promise!" He gave me a reassuring smile "YOU CAN'T JUST SAY THAT!! THAT CAN'T BE USED AS A PROMISE, CUDDLES!!" I screamed, tears coming into my eyes, I knew I would have to let go. "Just do it, okay? You'll always be in my heart whether I'm alive or not...because I love you, and I'll always love you." He cried "Cuddles!-" I spoke one last time before I slipped, loosing my grip on his wrists and letting him go. The Tornado took him as I sat there left devasted. The floor must've been more slippery from the rain pouring in through the roof...I didn't mean to let go...I lost him...I could've saved him...

"TAKE COVER!!" Lumpy shouted before picking me up and throwing me, I screamed as I flew across the air for a moment, but Splendid caught me and placed me down gently "Stay here Citizen, I got this!" He spoke as he flew towards the tornado. I believe last time he sucked up a tornado, he released an unbelievably disturbing scent of gas, 'killing' the whole town (In the HTF Episode 'Breaking Wind'), Petunia once told me during the week, so now to not make the same mistake he did before, he decided to Blow the tornado away this time. With that, the storm ended as the skies began to clear up. Everyone cheered and clapped for the Flying Squirrel's heroic-ness. He landed carefully on the ground "Thank You! Thank you! All of you citizens are too kind!" He spoke, waving at everyone. I ran up to him, grabbing his arm. He was extremely stunned, blushing, but smiled "Why hello there, Miss! Do you, need something?~" He purred 'Did he think I was flirting with him?' I snapped out of my thoughts "D-Did you find him? Cuddles?" I asked. He frowned and shook his head "No, My Apologies." He spoke, He pat my shoulder and flew away with a wink. Hmm?

Tears streamed down my face like a river. I lost Cuddles...Not even Splendid was able to save him..he flew off faster than I knew it. And Cuddles...I could've saved him, but I just had to lose my grip on him. I was so close to bringing him to safety, MY safety...he always protects me, I wanted that to be my chance to protect him. I could've asked anyone for help, and now I can't bare the feeling to the point I blame myself. I snapped out of my thoughts as I felt something on my shoulder, so I wiped my tears away and grabbed it, feeling quite courteous to even care to look at it. It was a piece of paper that had a number on it, then at the bottom, it said...SPLENDID???

S-SPLENDID'S NUMBER?????
