°Y/n's POV~

It became the next day, the sun creeping in through a window...my window. I woke up dizzily and looked around 'Where Am I? What Happened?' I thought, but it didn't take me too long to coordinate the dots in my head and realize I was in my room. I sat up and rubbed my eye, Me and Cuddles must've finished checking on the others last night before I came home. I yawned, heading into the bathroom and doing my morning routine. Once finished, I came out and put on a outfit that I liked inordinately alot. I decided to head out today, hoping for things to turn out a lot better than earlier.

Once I left my house, I thought taking a walk around the town would be nice, and that I proceeded to do. As I walked, I so happened to see Handy building up a new house for Giggles, the sweet chipmunk cheering and hugging him "Thank You, Handy! Oh! Hi Y/n!" Giggles spotted and greeted me "Hi Giggles! I like your new house!" I said "Thank you!" She replied. I continued to walk for a bit, admiring the view of the bright blue sky and beautifully shaped clouds before bumping into someone, I was too distracted. "Ow! I'm so sorry!" I apologized "Y/NNN!!!" I heard, ooooh boy, I know exactly who this is. I looked at who I bumped into, it was Cuddles "Oh! Hi Cuddles!" I greeted. He gave me a big hug, squeezing me tight to the point I could barely breathe. I squeaked, patting his shoulder while attempting to escape his grip "H-Hi Cuddles." I struggled out, he took notice of this and released me. He rubbed his arm "Sooooo, I got nothing to do today, and I was wondering if you wanted to possibly hang out at the park today?!" He asked. I didn't have anywhere else to go, so I couldn't see why not! "Sure! Let's go!" I agreed. It seemed like Cuddles' Rabbit ears flew upwards from excitement before grabbing my wrist and speedily taking me to our destination.

                       ~Time Skip~

We made it to the park, My eyes dilating from amazement on how big it was. There were Swings, Slides, small pretend Houses, a Sandbox, Monkey Bars, and even a small trail that led into the forest. There were other Happy Tree Friends at the park, not just me and Cuddles, one of them being Toothy, another one of his Best friends. The two noticed each other and went to greet one another. "Hey Cuddles!" Toothy cheered "Sup, Toothy!" Cuddles cheered in return, the two doing a hand shake. The purple beaver himself saw me and waved "Hi Y/n!" "Hello Toothy!" I shyly waved back. Next thing you knew, Flaky and Flippy came along, same for Lumpy and Petunia, then Sniffles and Nutty, and it seemed like Handy and Giggles were able to catch up themselves as well. We all said Hello to one another with a few hugs and high fives thrown to add onto it before we all decided to start playing.

We played on the Slide, Swings, and the sandbox a few times before Cuddles got an idea. "Hmmm...Y/n! Truth or Dare?" He asked "Huh? So suddenly? And why here?" I questioned, dumbfounded, He groaned "Just answer the question!" I waited a few moments before sighing "Dare." I chose. He snickered "I dare you to stand on top of the monkey bars!" He pointed towards the big bars that were higher than the smaller ones. I gulped and looked at him, shaking my head No, but he nodded his head in unison with my answer "Cuddles! No! I-I could get h-hurt!" I protested "Awww Come on! Don't be like Flaky! You don't know how many times I tried to convince her to do that, and she wouldn't do it at all! You aren't a wimp, are you?" He teased. I took one glance at the monkey bars before forcing myself to walk towards it, and with that, Cuddles started chanting 'Do It! Do It!' Which caught the attention of the others, and copied what he was doing, agreeing to contribute if needed.

I climbed up the monkey bars as carefully as I could without hesitation, and reached my paw over the bars, shutting my eyes in fear and lunged my body up and over it, standing on top. I opened my eyes and gasped, throwing my arms up "I did it!" I shouted, and everyone started to honor me 'Oh how childish we are acting right now.' I played with my thoughts, giggling to myself, I really am proud of myself right now though! I just succeeded an irrelevantly asked dare in front of at least 11 Happy Tree Friends here, I have to feel accomplished! "Wow! I can't believe she actually did it!" Flippy blurted out in awe. "Yeah...she actually did it..." Cuddles replied, staring at me romantically and sighing, blushing obviously but didn't mind it. I looked at his expression and blushed myself, and soon becoming erratically excited, jumping around before the worst that I couldn't imagine happened to me.

I slipped and fell off the very top, falling feet towards the ground. And when I was one with the ground, I felt this unsustainable pain reign over my leg...the victorious moment lasted while it could. I started to hiss and groan in pain, me holding my leg as I tumbled to the ground. Everyone gasped, but Cuddles shoved his body past everyone else and by my side "Y/n! Y/n! What happened?" He asked, I struggled to speak, but if I didn't tell him what's wrong, it would eventually get worse "I..I think I sprained my leg!" I screamed, his ears flopped down "Entirely?!" He questioned, full of complete panic, and all I could do is nod, biting my bottom lip to sooth myself. He speedily picked me up bridal style and ran with me without warning the others or saying goodbye "A-Are you taking me to a hospital?" I asked, and he looked at me like I was crazy "What?! No! I'm taking you to my place! I know what to do! I sprained my leg before, and Giggles was the one that helped me! I have all the supplies!" He explained 'What makes him want to help me? He could easily take me to a hospital, but he's treating me like his pet...why?' I wondered. He wants to spend his energy on me? He has so many other friends, but he's treating me like the special one...though I'm still new here, I really feel like everyone here is caring enough to make me feel at home, and that's exactly what I need. For a male to treat me like this, kinda flusters me, especially since...no, I can't fully say I like him...can I?

Once we got to his door, he bursts it open, and ran towards his couch, placing me down "Wait here! Well, it's not like you could go anywhere anyway, heheheheh!" He joked "Haha! Very funny." I replied playfully before he went back to running all over the place. He grabbed a med-kit, and a pair of crutches. I only sprained my leg, I didn't break it! As he made his way back to me, he kneeled down next to my injured leg and looked at me like his delicate, personal treasure. "Now, I'm going to wrap you leg up in bandages, hold still!" He shouted the last part, I flinched from the sudden loudness in his voice "O-Okay!" I agreed, I would've gave him a piece of my mind for startling me like that, but I'm injured and he's helping me, no time to be impulsive, besides, I'm too grateful for him, for the others would've just watched me roll around the ground in torturous pain.

A/n: Fun Fact, Y/n was originally going to break her leg, but I couldn't picture the Monkey Bars being that high, so I changed up the plan and went with her spraining her leg instead (It still sounds bad though tbh, there is no nice way of saying it sadly XD) I apologise for how cruel this sounds, I'm actually a really nice person, you can even say hi to me through my main page if you go to conversations, Follow me and catch up on the announcements I make! ^^ Thank you! As Cuddles hummed a tune while wrapping up my leg, I was busy dozing off because his singing was somewhat comforting. I don't know why I liked it so much, but it really lit a strong emotion up in me. Sure I had friends in my old town that used to be just as nice, but here?! It's way more gentle, quiet, and loving here. It gives me this warm feeling of comfort..Cuddles..gives me a warm feeling of comfort. This Yellow fun and energetic Rabbit gives me this emotion of what I didn't want to believe is love, but I think I actually developed a crush on the guy. He's funny, daring, sweet, and affectionate. And sure, we just met, but if it's safe to say what I feel is real, I won't hide it from him, though, I'm not the person to blurt out stuff either. Just me picturing us confessing to each other is nerve wracking, and I don't even know if he likes me back! If he does though, he would've said something...unless...is he hiding the feeling of love too? Does he like me? So many questions, and hopefully they all don't remain unanswered. I'll leave it be, I don't want to go too far.

"You better not be dozing off on my couch, or I'll throw walnuts upside your head!" He spoke, still bandaging up my leg "What!?" I questioned, I was clearly too deep in my thoughts "No, No! Just kidding, dummy! I only said that to catch your attention!" He giggled "Dummy?! Ouch." I dramatically placed my arm over my head as if about to faint "Drama." He mumbled. Once he finished, he sat besides me "What were you thinking about anyway?" He asked curiously, I blushed madly and turned away "N-Nothing!" I stuttered "Hmm. Was it meeeeeee?~" he teased, getting extremely close "N-No! Just leave it be!" I replied shyly, my paws on my legs as if trying not to touch nothing. He sighed and backed up "Awww. But you were so quiet, you must've been thinking about something." He said, clearly disappointed. I didn't say a word. There was a long and awkward amount of silence, it actually made me wonder If he was that disappointed, I didn't think too much of it though.

The silence lasted for at least 3 minutes, before Cuddles spoke "I used to be in a relationship with Giggles." His voice broke a bit, indicating that he was heartbroken mentioning this, I turned to him "You..did?" "Yeah, that was until I found out she was cheating on me with other boys." He replied, irritated. 'Poor thing, he must have loved her.' I thought, feeling bad "How did you find out?" I asked quietly, he looked down, not moving an inch "I went to her house to visit and give her gifts one day until the door was unlocked, and when I walked inside..." He stopped and growled "I saw a bunch of pictures of her kissing other males all over the floor, as if she forgot to pick them up. She caught me and tried to stop me, and next thing I knew, Russell walks out of her room causally as if he didn't care I was there, but he found the photos as well, and he didn't know I was her boyfriend, so she technically cheated on the both of us." He spoke fast and aggressive. "I broke up with her that day...but I don't hold a grudge against her now, we're all over it." He finished, wiping a few tears that came from his eyes. I placed my paw in his, catching his atrention as he looked directly into my eyes, and mine with his "It's okay. It's all over, and your better than before. I know it hurts, and I know what hurt feels like, from the heart...I've been through it before..not just my leg, but from the fear of being alone. I'm here for you though, And always will be. I also want to thank you for helping me, your honestly really brave to me." I comforted. It took him a minute to comprehend what I just said to him, but he got it all and sweetly smiled "Your Welcome! Don't hesitate to ask me for help, because the way you spoke to me just now, I definitely feel like I need you." He said in return. 'Need..Me?' My Mind saved in my head like a repeating record. He even admits he needs me! Come on Y/n, why can't you confess to him! Too soon, too soon! I couldn't finish making my decision when Cuddles turned on the TV and started scrolling through a numerous amount of movies, by coincidence though, he turned on my F/m, and my eyes lit up in sparkles "This is my f/m!" I cheered "What!? Mines too!" He replied with the same energy. We liked the same movies as each other, we're so alike! I never thought I would become so close to someone, and hopefully we get closer and closer as time goes by, I don't want this to end!

The movie has been playing for awhile now, and I'm busy being way too interested in the movie that I'm at the edge of my seat! As I seeped deeper and deeper of the momentum of my favorite part, I felt Cuddles slowly wrap his arm around my shoulder and pulling himself close to me "Oh! Sorrryyy! I got cold!" He lied, and I knew he was lying, but I didn't mind it. I wrapped my arms around his waist, and I heard was a squeak from him "A-Are we Cuddling right now?!" He asked, Flustered, I jumped from realization "I-I'm so sorry! I got a bit too comfortable!" I panicked, my face red as a tomato. I tried to pull away from the position we were in, but Cuddles' pushed me back towards his body. My eyes widened from his action "N-No. Please don't move. I'm okay with this, just..not for long! Okay?" He begged, and all I did was relax myself onto him, leaning on his shoulder. He patted my head in awe as we drew our attention back on the movie.

I couldn't believe what we were doing right now! I'm cuddling with someone so soon?! We aren't even in a relationship, or..are we? He would've said so, I know he would've said so! This is all so new to me, I'm not sure if I'm ready, but it's somewhat better than it used to be. We only met just a day ago, but maybe he's feeling a bit lonely after his recent break up, or maybe he's touch starved, whatever the reason is, I wouldn't call this a way of being presentable, but I like it. As the movie played on and on, it started to get dark outside, while the lighting soothed me into a peaceful state of mind, sleepiness filled my body to the point I didn't feel like moving. My eyes slowly began to shut, my eyelids feeling heavy...and sooner than you know it...

I was fast asleep...
