Hahaha, alright guys! Chill out! I know, I know, this should be just Fem!KuroxAkashi. So why did Takao and Himuro appear as boys, and now have Midorima and Murasakibara falling for them-who are also guys? In short, why is there yaoi?

Chill out. Please. Don't flame me with this minor thing.

"Our Ray of Shine"

The center's and miracle shooter's eyes widened as tears trickled down the dark-heads' cheeks.

Aomine clicked his tongue and raised his knife. "In one, two and thre-"

"Stop!"

This single word came out from both Murasakibara's and Midorima's mouths.

A single word as they blocked the dark-heads from their allies.

A single word that shocked both of them.

A single word that changed something inside Midorima Shintarou's and Murasakibara Atsushi's hearts.

Aomine frowned. "What the fuck, Midorima, Murasakibara? Get the hell out of our way! They're just there! Our jobs will be done easily if we just pin them there! And kill them!"

Midorima glanced at the sharp-eyed behind him, who was still holding onto the hem of his shirt. And right now, the green-head felt as if everything relied on that single gesture.

The one behind Murasakibara began to calm down, but started to sob as well. The gray-eyed clenched his fists as he leaned his head and hands on the violet-head's back, which surprised the latter. He could hear sobs, but they were stifled. Like the gray-eyed wanted to look tough despite the situation.

"Get out of the fucking way!" Aomine growled.

Midorima frowned. "I am not doing this because I want to. But I feel as if something...uh, something big will happen if we try to keep them alive for a little while. And...and we cannot start a ruckus now, we just moved. It'll catch attention, and they might find Kuroko in the process."

Murasakibara glanced at the one behind him. "I think Mido-chin is right~ I mean, this guy right here do know how to fight. If we try to kill him now, he might try to fight back, and it will catch a lot of attention. Right now, we want to run away, right? So let's not make any unsure actions~"

These two suddenly felt conscious as six pairs of eyes stared at them in awe.

Kise blinked. "You two...Are you protecting those standing behind you?" He guessed.

This question made these two members of the Generation of Miracles stiffen.

The blonde's eyes widened. "I knew it! You are trying to protect them!" He gasped.

"We're not!" Midorima protested.

"You are." Kise persisted. "I can see it through your eyes. I can see the same expression I saw back then on Akashicchi's eyes when he said that he didn't want to kill Kurokocchi yet. I can see the same expression I saw back then when Aominecchi saved me from the bandits when they tried to take me away in exchange for the unfulfilled wishes of theirs."

Murasakibara pouted. "I don't have the same expression as back those times." He grunted.

Akashi was about to speak when Tetsumi grabbed his wrist. He blinked, and turned to look at her. "What is it?" He whispered.

She looked up. And her clear eyes made his heart beat faster. "Don't kill them." She whispered.

His eyes widened in surprise. "What's this? And where did this come from?"

She blinked, and bit her bottom lip when he made an amused smile. She unbit her bottom lip, and then smiled back. "I just feel like it will be unfair if only you get to choose something like this."

He looked at her for awhile, and then caressed a lock of her silky hair. Her cheeks began to turn reddish, and she was afraid he would see her blushing until he suddenly turned and approached the area of the critical situation. "Stop it." He growled.

The noises and arguments subdued.

She looked at the ground as she waited for him to start, but he didn't.

"Tetsumi?" She quickly raised her head up as Akashi called out for her name.

"Yes?"

He extended an arm. "Come over here."

She slowly walked towards them, and then she was pulled closer by one of Akashi's arm. She hid her embarrassed face against Akashi's chest. She didn't know why the red-head was being so gentle with her, but she felt special, so she didn't care anymore. And just absorbed his warmth and tenderness.

Akashi began as he messed with Tetsumi's hair. "We will spare these two. That's decided."

"But why?" Aomine demanded.

He sharply turned towards the bluenette. "Are you really that irrational, dumb, dense and selfish, Daiki?" He snapped. "Have Atsushi and Shintarou ever asked for something so big ever since we have been together? If you're going to compare them to us-we have asked for big things way more than they did. A lot of big wishes, actually. This was an unexpected wish, but it's attainable, so why not give them what they ask for? Even just for this time?"

"But, Akashi-"

"If I tell you that I will kill Ryouta right here, right now. Will you let me?"

"NO!" Aomine snarled instantly.

"Then, do you understand now what situation these two are in?"

Aomine looked at the pale Kise - who thought he would really get killed by a certain red-head, and nodded. "Yeah. I don't know. I don't what Kise to get killed, even if it's already Boss' order. Even if its' their order-I think I will never ever comply, and even try my best to drive him so far away from here."

"You'll save him?" Akashi asked.

The ace nodded. "I will. Even if it's irrational. Even if it's dangerous. I will."

"The same goes for Atsushi and Shintarou, so we shall let them, and see what will happen." The red-head decided. "It's not good to always be this carefree, but I cannot possibly see you guys killing people you will risk your life for. I'm sure-I'm sure that things will come through." He glanced at the blue-head wrapped with his arm, and smiled. "I'm absolutely certain things will come through, right, Tetsumi?"

She looked up, looked at him for few moments, smiled and then nodded. "Yes, I agree." She whispered.

"Daiki, Ryouta, go get the luggage. I'll open the front doors and lights in the mansion." He ordered and walked along with Tetsumi by his side.

Kise and Aomine looked at each other before blushing.

"Ugh, why with him? Geeeezzzz!" Aomine grunted.

Kise pouted. "You could have just said-" Before he would even finish his complaint, the dark bluenette had already grabbed his hand and dragged him outside.

"Idiot, I was kidding." The blonde heard Aomine whisper before they got out of the gates.

As the two pairs left, Midorima and Murasakibara were left with the other two.

Taka Kazunari released the green-head shirt, and looked away. "So, what now? You're not going to kill usyet?"

Himuro Tatsuya took steps away from the violet-head. "And keep us as prisoners here?"

Midorima pushed his glasses, and picked up his fallen lucky item for the day, which was an angel plushie. "Both. The time of our murder is not usually a routine of ours. Whenever we were ordered to, we should do it."

Takao frowned as he stared at Midorima's retreating figure. "Then, why not earlier? Why did you spare us? I thought you're ordered to kill both of us?"

Murasakibara picked up the plastic bag of his snacks. "We were~" He answered. "But I don't know what got into both of us that we stopped the others. Since it became like this, why not just enjoy your unexpected semi-freedom?"

"That isn't easy when we have the ones who might kill us anytime right together with us under the same house." Himuro mumbled with cold tone.

But neither of the two listened, and had already gone inside the mansion.

The gates were open.

No one was looking anymore.

They could just run away.

But, they didn't.

They turned and followed after their two saviors slash soon-murderers.

~LFMH021~

She sat down on the couch, and stared at the ground.

The place was a lot different from the previous one.

But this one had the home aura around it more than the other one. It was as if the previous mansion was filled with tension, darkness and death auras swirling all around you.

She blinked when a cup of tea was offered right in front of her. After accepting it, she looked up to see from whom it came from. Her heart somewhat thumped loud when she saw Akashi walking towards the one-seater couch in front of her.

"Thanks." She mumbled.

"I almost didn't see you." He said as he sat down. "I really made that tea for you, but I almost didn't sense you sitting on the couch until I saw your flowing dress."

She stared at the cup between her palms. "I can be so invisible sometimes." She whispered. "Sometimes, I want to stand out, but couldn't find a way how."

"You want to stand out?" Akashi repeated with a bewildered tone.

After taking a sip, she made a questioning look. "Why do you sound so surprised?"

"Well, I am surprised that you actually want to stand out." He murmured.

"It's hard having misdirection. I always scare people away, and never get to socialize that much." She explained.

He smirked and placed his teacup on the glass table separating them. "I think your misdirection is a great gift, Tetsumi." He mumbled. He then raised his eyes to stare back at her. "If you didn't have that misdirection then you will only just be like everybody else. If you didn't have misdirection then you wouldn't be able to hide from the police who made us pull over earlier. If you didn't have that, we would have been separated." He added.

"Don't I cause you so much trouble?" She whispered in worry.

"If you do, I would have already killed you." He blurted out.

Silence enveloped the two of them for a little while.

Well, until she murmured something the red-head wasn't expecting, "Then, when I turn useless, you'll kill me."

It wasn't a question. It was a statement.

A statement filled with certainty.

He stared at her in surprise but all she did was grasp her teacup and stare down at the ground. "Why...Where did this question come from?"

"It just makes me wonder." She admitted. "You are too kind for me. Too tender. Too gentle. Too thoughtful. I don't know what I ever did to deserve this much."

"It's because you're a great girl." He whispered, stood up and began to approach her.

"I am not great. Stop lying." She grunted.

"I am not lying. Why will I lie with such truth that can be seen by everyone?"

She gritted her teeth, and tried not to cry. "Everyone else at home is saying the same. That I'm great. That I should not change. That I should only stay at home because I am too good of a girl to be let out-some bad people might take me away. Everyone's saying that I'm kind. Everyone's saying I'm talented. Everyone's saying positive things about me without being sincere about it. I know it when people lie. I know it when people pretend. And I hate it. I hate the fact that some people can just deceive you like that-"

He placed his hands on her shoulders, and stopped her. "Cut it out." He snapped. When she stopped trembling, he took the teacup and placed it on top of the glass table, which was now just right behind him as he bent in front of Tetsumi. "I am not lying." He emphasized every word. "Tetsumi, look at me." When she didn't, so he ordered, "Tetsumi, look at me."

Finally, she raised her head and stared back at him.

His clear red-and-gold eyes shocked her. They were filled with determination and sincerity, she began to feel scared. "W-Why..." She stuttered.

"It's because I want you to know that I am not lying when I say that you're really great. Yes, you can be very dense, blunt, straightforward, sadist, quiet and reserved at times, but that's fine. Everyone has that checkered reason. Yet, you're great. You're kind, talented, simple-minded, clever, caring and persistent. Never let anybody else say something else." He whispered.

Stifling her tears, she raised her hands a little. He looked at them before gladly taking them with his own hands. "Thanks." She whispered.

"I'll protect you." He added before squeezing her hands. His clear eyes turned dark and scary, but they didn't frighten her. "I'll do my best to always keep you safe."

She managed a smile before leaning down and placing a small kiss on his forehead. "A sign of good luck." She murmured.

He blinked thrice, and then hid his face on her lap. "You. Are. So. Embarrassing. To. Be. With."

"Ne, Akashicchi, what are you looking for in this world?"

"I am not exactly sure."

"Money? Fame?" Aomine guessed.

He shook his head. "I could just buy those."

"Then, what~?" Murasakibara persisted.

He looked up at the clear skies. "Happiness. Maybe, I want to somewhat find my hope...my happiness."

"And I've found her." He whispered as he looked up and found Tetsumi smiling warmly at him. "I've found my ray of shine."

~LFMH021~

"Oi, what's for-EH? Kise?" Aomine gasped as he saw Kise in front of the frying pan on top of the stove. "Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-You're cooking?"

The blonde turned, and happily nodded. "Kurokocchi taught me the basics -along with beating the crap out of me because I was just being too close with her-and then gave me this thick recipe book. She told me that I could use my 'perfect copy' ability on this kind of thing as well."

Aomine hummed, "Hm." Before approaching the blonde. "Never knew that."

"Neither have I. So surprising, right? We're having curry and sushi later!" He exclaimed.

Kise gasped when Aomine suddenly wrapped an arm around his waist. His cheeks puffed red in surprise and happiness. "A-A-Aominecchi?"

The bluenette continued hugging him from behind. "You smell nice. Don't mind me. Continue cooking. I'll be as silent as....as....as...fog, frog, ugh. Yeah, whatever." He mumbled as he placed his chin on Kise's shoulder, and moved with him as the latter resumed cooking.

"I said: 'Don't kill him!'" The one wearing gray business suit growled. "But you did, and that was out of the contract!"

Aomine rolled his eyes. "Geez, at least now you don't have any more problems. Deal with it. He'll be super noisy if we let him leave."

"We paid you right. So we need something in exchange for him since you killed him." The one with orange suit grunted. "I will take this blonde. He'll do."

Aomine's eyes widened when Kise was suddenly dragged away from beside him. Acting on repulse, he punched the three, and grabbed the blonde's wrist. He turned and ran with the copycat as the others dealt with their enemies.

"A-Aominecchi!"

"No one. Absolutely no one will take you away from me." He growled.

"Why?"

"You're special, Kise. You're special. Now, stop making me say embarrassing stuff." He complained.

~LFMH021~

"I'm...Takao Kazunari." Takao mumbled as he swayed his feet.

"Yeah, Midorima Shintarou."

"Shin-chan." The dark-head said.

"What?" The green-head asked in a surprised tone.

"I'll call you Shin-chan. Just because I want to. And because you have 'nanodayo' at the end of your sentences. Also because you are believing on Oha-Asa Horoscope-"

Midorima sighed. "And what does that mean-"

"And lastly, you're my savior." Takao finished and stared right through the green-head's eyes.

~LFMH021~

Himuro approached Murasakibara and reached for the latter's arm. "I am Himuro Tatsuya. Thank you for saving me."

Murasakibara shrugged. "I don't why I did that. But anyway, you're welcome. Murasakibara Atsushi, by the way~"

"What are you doing here?" Himuro asked.

"Looking for anything sweet to eat."

The dark-head took out a swirled lollipop. "Here you go."

As he happily watched the other eat the lollipop given to him, he stared at Murasakibara's retreating figure somewhere not that far away from here.

~LFMH021~

Tetsumi was scrolling down the page she was searching when she remembered something.

As if called, Akashi went inside the study room, and sat on one of the benches.

Akashi was reading a newspaper intensely until he turned and caught her eyes. He blinked and made a a questioning look.

She wetted her lips. "Um, Akashi-kun...?"

He pretended like he didn't know she would ask something girl-y stuff. "Yes?"

"...A week from now..." She began.

He raised an eyebrow. "Yeah?"

"A week from now, there will be a big fireworks festival on the other village. Can we all watch it together?"

Akashi regarded her, which made her feel conscious for few moments. "Let's see..." He mumbled before sitting beside her.

~LFMH021~

Takao pointed the one on his right. "How about that one?"

"I don't think that's actually a constellation, Takao. It seems to be a lone star, nanodayo." The green-head mumbled.

"It's not alone! See? It has another bright star right beside it!" The dark-head exclaimed. "But the first one is brighter. If I'm gonna name it, hm, then, I'll call it...the Miracle Shooter!"

His eyes widened as he gradually looked at the Eagle Eye owner. "Why?"

"It shines just like your eyes. Your eyes were the first things that caught my attention when you looked at me. They're so beautiful." Takao mumbled, and threw Midorima a smile.

There was silence, first, until the two's cheeks turned red as tomatoes. Midorima resumed reading as Takao looked away, hid his face and puffed his cheeks.

~LFMH021~

Murasakibara sneezed as he leaned against the railings of the balcony.

He blinked when a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows was placed between his palms gently.

Himuro smiled. "It's my specialty." He proudly said as he stood beside the violet-head.

He sipped and blinked. "It tastes great~" He mumbled in pleasure.

Himuro laughed and looked up. "Many stars tonight, huh. First time seeing them this many..." He commented, and then sneezed. "Sorry..." He murmured.

The dark-head blinked when Murasakibara placed half of his big coat around his shoulders. "I'll be damned by Akachin if you get a cold." The violet-head mumbled, cheeks quite red.

With cheeks turning pinkish, he nodded and stared at his cup. "Thanks..." He murmured with a small smile.

~LFMH021~

She blinked, and turned her eyes to look at the one beside her.

He hummed. "I'm not really sure, I mean, it could be dangerous..."

"Please? I will disguise myself. I...just wanna see it. It'll be my first time." She murmured as she played with her hands on top of her lap.

First time?

Seeing her saddened face, he smirked and rested his head on the couch's headrest. "And how could I say no with that face you're making?"

"Is that a 'Yes'?" She mumbled in excitement.

He nodded with a smile. "Fine. I grant you permission, granted that we'll be there to accompany you."

He was expecting a big smile, but he received something he didn't expect-a tight hug. A surprise tight hug.

His cheeks were now turning from pink to red, and yet she hadn't released him yet.

He was about to complain about it when he saw her expression. She had her arms wrapped around his waist in happiness while her face was hidden on his chest. But he could feel it. He could feel the smile she was making.

His heart was hammering inside his chest.

Does that mean...

.

.

.

Does that mean he's in love with Tetsumi?

A/N: Well, guess what. Our loveteam sure feels the love in the air, huh.

Too bad in my world, there is no valentine. There is just bitterness. Hahahaha

Anyways, I hope its' slow pace is just fine with you, let's take it easy, alright?

Please, please, please leave a review!

SNEAK PEEK? SURE, HERE!

"Hurry, hurry, hurry!" Akashi whispered beside her ear, and she couldn't help blushing upon realizing that he was so close to her that she could feel his breath.

She nodded, and ran as fast as she could while holding Akashi's hand. "Please, please, please..." She chanted as she saw her old bodyguards slowly starting to chase after them. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry...Please don't give me back..."

"I won't." Akashi firmly replied. "I won't give you up. I swear this." He murmured.

She gasped when he suddenly made a swift turn, and she turned with him. In an instant, they were behind a sakura tree. When her old bodyguards began to split into groups, her heart hammered in her heart. "No..." She mumbled in fright.

When one of them began to walk towards them, Akashi did something unexpected-he removed his jacket, placed it on top of her head before pulling her closer and leaning his lips against her in a compassionate kiss under his leather jacket.

She wasn't supposed to react. Except the fact that she is actually and secretly in-love with him.
