Sam updating.

I stared at Lucy, unsure what to say or how to feel. "Sam..." She started, but I turned and bolted back to base. No no no I thought shaking my head. Fleeing through the base I ran straight to my room and slammed the door, waking Itachi. He sat straight up with a kunai, looking around alarmed.

"Sam what's wrong? Why the hell are you running around at this time of night?" He hissed, putting down the kunai.

My eyes welled up with tears and I ran to him, hugging him. He was surprised, but gently hugged me back. We just sat there while I cried. Finally he spoke.

"Sam you need to tell me what's wrong so I can help you." He muttered into my hair. Sniffling I looked up.

"They're okay, 'Tachi. They're okay. I'm just so happy and so angry." I cried. He looked at me confused.

"Who, dear?' He asked.

I smacked him. "Lucy and Hidan, you big doof!" I barked angrily. He glared for a split second then patted my head.

"So they're alive? I get why you're happy, but why angry?" He asked. I nodded my head furiously rubbing my eyes.

"Because they left with no fucking notice. Because they missed so much. BECAUSE I'VE MISSED THEM SO FUCKING MUCH" I said, yelling the end. He looked at me then put his forehead against mine.

"So you're upset because you missed them so much? " He asked slowly.

I nodded my head as he sighed. "Sam you know I love you very much?" He questioned. I nodded my head again before he continued. "But you're more nutty than a squirrel." He finished with a slight smile. I glared at him and pouted.

"Ass" I commented. He gave me one of his rare smiles.

"All I'm saying if you're angry, give her a piece of your mind and if you're happy run up to the girl and hug her." He stated. I felt a smile form in my lips.

"How did I get so lucky with you?" I asked, getting up.

He chuckled. "You made a contract with me and I agreed with it. Which reminds me, I'd like some dango." He said, laying down. I chuckled and left the room quietly doing hand signs, causing me to appear back in the clearing where Manga and Lucy were talking. They looked up shocked. Walking over, Lucy stood up. My smile was wide as I hugged her. She hugged me back.

"Oh Sam, I missed you." She said, close to tears.

"I missed you too." I replied before slamming my knee hard in to her stomach. "But if you ever fucking disappear like that again I will fucking end your ass so fast you won't know what happened." Itachi was right. I could show her I was happy yet angry.
