Joe
I walked with the doctors to Ashley, she looked awful but alive. I sat down and the doctor started to speak.

"We did some scans and discovered that Ashley has broken her collarbone. She'll be out of action for a long time, she'll need looking after."

"Oh..."

"Recovery time is probably 4-6 months."

"She'll be so upset."

"Ashley will be awake soon, I'm assuming your staying with her."

"Yeah."

"Okay call me if she needs anything."

The doctor walked off and it was just me and Ashley, I took her icy cool hand in mine. She started to stir and slowly peeled open her eyes.

"Joe?"

"Ash, it's real bad you know. You'll be out of action for 6 months."

She sat up quickly and groaned.

"I can't be out for 6 months."

"Take it easy and you don't exactly have a choice Ash."

"Joe wrestling is all I have if I can't do it then..."

"You've got me."

"Wh~"

I pressed my lips to hers and she let out a little surprised Yelp, she kissed back and pushed her tongue into my mouth deepening the kiss. I only pulled away for air, I looked back at her and she smirked at me.

"If we weren't in hospital~"

"Ash please will you go out with me?"

"I thought you~"

I kissed her one more time and this time it was me making the kiss more passionate, she placed her hands around the back of my neck pulling me in further. This time she pulled away and I just sat there staring at her flustered face.

"Yes."

"I~"

She cut me off this time, we only stopped when we saw Becky in the doorway.

"You two look like a pair of horny teenagers."

"I took your advice."

"Wait Becky actually gave good advice?"

"I always give great advice, Shut up."

"Hmm once I told you to give me advice and we just got drunk."

"Shhh."

They were both laughing between them and I sat at the end of Ashley's bed.

"Soooo when you getting married?"

"We only just got together man."

She smiled at me and nodded her head.

"Eh, Wait Ash we're both out at the same time."

"I know...}

"Don't be upset, you've got Joe to keep you entertained and me if you ever need a chat."

Our faces both turned red and Becky found it hilarious.

"Can we not talk about our sex life in hospital."

"Was she rusty?"

"Becky! For gods sake! Ignore her Joe..."

"I'm only asking?"

"Worst sex ever."

I had a very sarcastic tone to my voice so Ashley wouldn't get upset.

"You wouldn't have come back for more if that were true."

"Right now stop talking."

"You asked Becks."

"And now I regret asking."

*1 week later*

Ashley
I'm going home today, I'm kinda excited. I'm staying at Joe's seeing as I literally don't have any furniture, I'm scrolling through my insta when I get a text from Banks.

"Heard you're out, oops.

And one from Bayley.

"Guess my title is coming home."

I just shoved my phone in my bag and waited for Joe to get here, luckily it was only 5 minutes before Joe arrived so I didn't get too bored.

"Your carriage awaits."

I smiled at him and climbed off the bed, every part of me aches but it doesn't matter. We got to his car and I carefully climbed in not to whack anything, the drive home was quiet but peaceful. I got time to think a little, we went around a roundabout and I heard something pop.

"You alright?"

"It was just my hip popping back into place, it does it whenever I haven't trained for a while."

We got back to his and I walked inside, he kissed me as soon as he closed the door. I kissed back and he began to push me slightly towards his bedroom, I twisted the door handle and we fell in. He was on top of me and I couldn't wait any longer.

"Come on."

*5 months later*

I'm so fucking happy, I love Joe to bits and I just got cleared.

"I've got a little something planned, just follow me."

I took Joe's hand and he took me to a marina, there was a lovely boat and on the reservation slot it said 'Ashley Fliehr' I looked back and Joe and he just nodded. We climbed onto the boat and he handed me a bottle of lager. The boat took us to this remote little beach, it looks so romantic. I walk off the boat and into the beach, I see a bonfire in the distance and walk slowly towards it. Rose petals are scattered all across the floor, I turn to Joe and see him down on one knee.

"These last six months have been the best of my life, I love you Ashley Fliehr and that is why we are here today. I've wanted to do this ever since our first date, you are beautiful, kind, funny and strong so so strong. I've wanted to call you my wife for a while now so Ashley will you marry me?"

"Yes!"

He stood up and kissed me, I kissed back and I could feel him smiling into the kiss.

"Nobody's here are they?"

"Why?"

"I think you know why..."

I woke up the next day covered in sand alongside Joe with a gorgeous ring on my finger, the proposal was beautiful it did make me cry a little. I'm so excited to get married, I know it won't be for a while but still I'm engaged! I'm engaged to Joe and I couldn't be happier, I tap Joe on the shoulder and he woke up.

"Morning future wife."

"Good morning."

"We should probably head home?"

"Yeah but should we go for a swim first to get all this sand off us?"

I ran off into the sea and pretended it wasn't freezing so he would join me, he jumped in from one of the rocks and screamed like a little girl.

"Fuck it's freezing..."

"I know."

I swam towards him and tangled our bodies together.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

We eventually made our way back to shore, we were freezing so we quickly got dressed into last night's clothes. Joe placed his hand on my back as we walked back onto the boat.

"This was perfect Joe."

"Took me 2 months to plan."

"Was it worth it?"

"Course it was."

The boat ride home as lovely, I let the morning sun sink into my skin and just let myself relax. The sound of the waves was actually quite soothing, every now and again a seagull would come and ruin it though. I'm now standing barefoot on the wooden walkway, my heels hurt my feet so I'm not going to where them.

"Our carriage awaits."

Joe carried me up to the taxi, I sat inside and was met with a welcoming heat.

"Where to?"

Joe told them our address and the car started, I'm shivering so joe wrapped his suit jacket around me.

"Better?"

"Better."

We got out of the car and I walked inside, Joe made his way directly to the kitchen.

"I'm gonna go shower."

"Food will be ready when you get out!"

I kissed his cheek before making my way upstairs and to our bathroom, I started to run the shower and climbed in not long after. The water burnt my skin a little but I got used to it, I started to wash and smiled to myself thinking of the past 24 hours. I do love him so so much and now everyone will know.
