I got fan art

I can't say how happy I am, the first fan art for this book. Thank you WillowedSpirits your awesome and I love your art. 

 Usaully I barely noticed tags since they don't pop up on my phone like other stuff so if you do have fanart you can tell be in the comments because if you do that means I'm more likely to see it.

I promised this chapter would be longer so enjoy 3000 words and 6 pages in Google doc, also this book is set like 7 or 10 years later from the first book

"Don for the last time you can't read" Ddawn said but the fox demon didn't listen, "I so can read" he yelled trying to read the book he held in his hands. Dashlie giggled quietly as the two fought is they could read or not, Hero said they can read an book on the bookshelf in the living but the books in his room is off limits. Though curiosity is strong they knew better to touch his books after seeing him use magic to light a fire, he can be scary at times. "It's freezing" Dres complained as he shivered slightly, Dashlie threw a blanket his direction. He caught it and wrapped it around himself, everyone assumed he was sick and Hero even told them to be careful or they'll get sick too.

"You can't read" Ddawn yelled making Don whine, "I SO CAN" he yelled making Dashlie burst out laughing. "Who can't read" Hero asked poking his head in the room, "Don can't read and he won't admit it" Ddawn yelled making the mage chuckle as he slowly took the book from the fox demon. "No wonder you can't read this book isn't in english" he said with a slight chuckle, "What language is it the" Ddawn asked, "There are more than one language" Don asked surprised making Dashlie giggle. "This is the writing of the ender people, I forgot I had this book" Hero said flipping through the pages before he placed the book on the shelf and gave a Don a book in english. "Don you can't read" Ddawn said as Don hissed at him, "I'll teach you all to read and write later" Hero said making Don gasp, "really" he yelled in excitement. Hero chuckled, "Education is important" he said softly.

"I'm going out today to buy something for dinner, anyone want to join me" Hero asked as Dashlie quickly raised her hand making the mage smile, "Alright, get the coat I bought you and tell me when you're ready" he said putting on his normal brown cloak, Dashlie quickly got up to grab her coat and shoes, Hero watch her scrambling to get each item of clothing making him smile. She reminded him a lot like his daughter Jen, she always wanted to come with him on moonlight rides with Night breaker and like Dashlie she loved a certain color and that was pink. To this day even as a woman she loves pink, how long has it been. She should be in her twenties now, maybe he should visit but will she allow him to. No she isn't like that, she'll never-"I'm ready" Dashlie yelled snapping him out of his thoughts.

"Alright, you three behave and we'll be back soon" Hero said, "Dres your in charge" he said making the young vampire nod. Hero opened the door and walked out, Dashlie waved bye to the others before following, the rain by now has slowed down to a small dizzle which was more annoying than actually rain because you'll never know when it turns into a full blown storm. Night breaker saw the two and jumped over the fence that kept him in his small pen, Hero chuckled softly as the horse nuzzled him, the mage softly stroked the horses mane which held little droplets of water. "Ready to go as well, wait here I need to get his saddle and bridle" Hero said as he went to the horses stable leaving Dashlie and the horse. Night breaker bend his head down to sniff her making the demon gulp, this was a huge ass horse who wouldn't be nervous. Night didn't seem to mind her as he walked around her making Dashlie nervous as it remind her of a cat she saw stalking its prey. When Night breaker nipped at her hair Dashlie scream loudly making the horse rear back, startled at the sudden loud noise.

The comotion from outside made the children from inside look from the windows, "Whoa easy Night calm down" Hero said softly as he came back. The stallion snorted loudly but calmed down rather easily as the mage sighed softly, "You alright" he asked Dashlie nodded shly as the horse snorted. "Sorry Night can be a bit pushy" Hero said as he put the saddle on the black stallion, Dashlie looked at the horse again who stared back at her. They stayed like that for awhile while Hero fixed the saddle and put the bridle on the stallion, he doesn't like using bits, so he made his own bitless bridle for the stallion plus it makes Night fell a bit more comfortable. Hero did a quick double check to make sure the saddle was secured and that the bridle wasn't too tight, "You two done" he asked as he noticed Night's and Dashlie's staring contest. Night snorted making Dashlie giggle, "I win" she said happily making Hero chuckle. "Come here" he said softly as Dashlie ran up to him, Hero picked her up and helped her on the saddle before he climbed on. He made sure she was holding onto the saddle before grabbing the reins, Night shook his head to clear some water out of his mane before he started to trot forward.

Now that the rain has cleared up more people in town seemed to be around, more than normal. Night breaker was a little tensed since he wasn't used to be around such a large crowd, Dashlie noticed the horse was nervous got on her tippy toes to look through his saddle bags. She pulled out an apple and held it up for the horse to eat, Night took the fruit and chewed on it as she patted his flank lightly. Hero let her wait outside with the horse since he knows how nervous the horse gets when left alone with a ton of people and this isn't an exaggeration so many people were either standing around or shopping. It was almost as busy as a flea market which is always packed no matter where you go.

"Okay I got everything let's go" Hero as he tied most of the bags to the stallion's saddle, "Why is there so many people" Dashlie asked making Hero shrug, "I honestly don't know, an event or maybe a town gathering for all I know" he said helping her back on the saddle. Once Night felt both riders on his back he was more than happy to leave, as Hero lead the horse through the crowd he finally noticed what must of drawn the huge crowd. Soldiers and he already knew what was happening, "Join the army and help protect your family and villages from the enemies that threaten your life" one of the soldiers yelled. They were recruiting for the army, as Hero took a closer look at the soldiers he noticed the golden horse armour and familier golden and blue flag one of them held. "....you idiot what have you dragged yourself into this time" Hero said to himself making Dashlie look at him, "What do you mean" she asked making the mage sigh. "Remember young one war and violence isn't always the best option" Hero said making Night walk away from the large crowd.

Night accidently bumped into someone making them hiss loudly startling the horse and making it rear up, "Easy Night" Hero yelled as the horse shook his head but calmed down, he never had a bad freak out, these usually last a few seconds. "I'm sorry this was my fault" Hero said quickly as the stranger looked up at him, it was a black cat with purple eyes and hair. "It was my fault I was distracted" she said, "You aren't hurt" Hero asked making her shake her head no. "I'm fine, hi I'm Catherine and I'm looking for someone" she said, "Who are you looking for" Hero asked, "Oh just my brother Uni, we were suppose to make sure those soldiers over there don't get what they came here for". Hero sighed, this feline might be the enemy of those soldiers, what war has Sky started this time. "No I don't think I've-", "Catherine!!".

Hero watched as the feline was pulled away by a pug in a purple cloak, "I'm sorry for my sister" Uni apologize. Dashlie felt frightened by his presence so she shrank back, Hero noticed this and covered her with his cloak. "Come on we have to go" Uni said dragging her away from Hero who was beginning to lead Night away from this madness, "Uni, Catherine lets go" Nick yelled as the two ran off to their friend.

"Something is going on and I don't like it" Hero said as he left the town, what war is going on and why. It's only been 10 years since the last war which was the squid war, maybe no it can't be. They can't be fighting the same war again, that's impossible but everyone knows there is never any impossible when looking for freedom. "W-what was that" Dashlie asked a little frightened, ".....that was the beginning of war young one". Dashlie looked down, "Have you ever been in war"

"Yes...and I don't want to relive the pain and suffering it brought"

"And it was really scary and stuff"

Hero looked over to see Dashlie explaining all that happened to her siblings, he sighed deeply. They know little to nothing about war but they do know that its bloody and scary. "I'm gonna be in my study, I don't want any disturbance" Hero said, all the kids nodded as the mage closed the door to his room. "Come on Hero, it's been a while but not that long" he said taking a dark blue from the shelf, he flipped it to a certain chapter before he softly starting chanting the words on the pages. He used one hand to keep the book up while the other unclipped his cloak that was soon on the floor as the piece of clothing dropped on the floor two large wings unfolded themselves. Two brown angel like wings with silver feather tips were now seen, Hero stretched them a bit getting used the the feeling again, "Been forever I know" he said to himself before snapping his fingers. The book fell to the floor as Hero shook his head now taking the form of a snowy owl, the mage flapped his wings before squeezing through the slightly opened window.

As he took to the sky Night breaker from below watched him fly off, he jumped the fence and starting walking around the house, he knows when his rider is away he needs to protect those who live in his house. It's been a while but he knows he job well.

Hero flew through the tree line knowing where he was taking himself, there was a race of large cats that lived in the forest called the clan cats. Four clans had a part of the forest to call their own and Hero once knew them and was friends with the founding leaders, its been years but he needs to know where they stand in this war. They are hunted for their fur and meat, some humans even use them a slaves and a quick alternative to horses and bulls, its cruel and unforgiving. After a long flight he finally found them but not what he expected, they were all meeting under a large oak tree but each clan cat didn't seem to mind the presence of each other, they used to be territorial but why not now. Hero landed on a nearby branch to watch, he spotted a large male tabby on the tree, he seemed to be giving a speech.

"My fellow clan mates we know who are enemies are and to kill the ones who enslaved our family. There is no Clan of the river or shadows not even clan of the plains. Not anymore we stand as one as the United clans and we will fight for the freedom of our family. May the stars watch over us all for we will fight. Freedom for animal bloods, freedom for the moon blood" he yelled making the clans yowl and chant as well.

Finally he gets it, it was bound to happen but he didn't know it would start like this.

Another human mob war and this time his own son and daughter will fight against that he stands for, the freedom of mobs and animal bloods.

Hero didn't need to watch anymore as he took off, he knows that there will be long years of war and that one side will either be wiped out. Hopefully that doesn't happen.

Hero took a long hour to just think about what he saw before he returned home and squeezed back through, Night went back to his stable to sleep once Hero returned. He returned back to his human form and grabbed his cloak, Hero folded his wings back on his back before putting his cloak back on the cover his wings like usual. He put the book back on the shelf before grabbed the book next to it, Hero sat on his desk and opened the book to reveal that it was empty. No words and blank, untouched white paper. The mage sighed deeply and began writing, he sat there writing from a long time before getting up to grab another book this one titled 'The clans of the forest'. He opened it to an empty section and started writing again, once he finished the signed the bottom page with his name, like he always does. The book had something sticking out of the pages, Hero pulled it out to reveal a picture, one hand drawn the other a taken by a camera.

There drawn picture showed a forest with great detail while the camera one showed a picture of four large felines. One a large ginger feline with white paws and stripes and green eyes, the name Thunder over his head. The next was a large blue grey feline with dark blue eyes with the name River above its head, next was a brown tabby with amber eyes with the word Wind. The last one was a pure black one with green eyes with the name Shadow. Hero knew them as River splash, Thunder Heart, Shadow bird and Wind heart. The founding clan leaders, he knows they passed away but what happened to the clans. He wishes he knows.

Hero sighed deeply and rest his head on his arms, things have changed alot and he still can't accept it. The mage was close to dozing off till someone opened the door making him lift his head up to see Don, "Yes is something the matter" he asked knowing they will only open the door when something is truly wrong. "S-something's wrong with Dres" Don stuttered and he looked at the brink of tears, Hero quickly got up and followed him to see Ddawn and Dashlie over a very sick looking Dres. "What happened" he asked rushing over to Dres who has passed out, "I-I...h-he said he felt sick and he just feel down and he doesn't want to wake up" Ddawn said as he looked at the vampire. Hero kneeled down and picked up the uncouncis vampire, he was paler than usual and breathing heavily. "I-is he dead" Dashlie asked, "no he isn't dead" Hero said carrying Dres to his bed and putting down, "is he gonna die" Don asked. "No he isn't gonna die and he'll be alright, all of you wait in the living room" Hero said shooing them away, "I promise he'll be okay" he said to Dashlie who nodded slowly and followed the others.

"What happened" Hero asked himself as he checked the vampire's temperature and was shocked to find him burning hot, his breathing almost sounded raspy like he was struggling to breath. Hero left the room before coming with some supplies, first was a wet cloth that he placed on his forehead and another was some herbs he crushed up to make almost strange liquid. He carefully made sure Dres drank it all before he sighed in relief hearing his breathing return slightly to normal, Hero softly rubbed the others head but something grabbed his attention. It almost looked like his hair was losing his color and almost turning white, Hero quickly but gently turned Dres over to look at his wings. His once black wings now had white vertical lines going down his wings, they were faint but he knew they were there.

"No....it can't be" Hero said quickly going to his room and grabbing one of his journals from the shelf but before he opened it, he went to check on Duni and to his shock and horror Duni's fur was also losing its color. His paws were starting to turn white while his tail was fading as well as his tuff of red fur, Hero now felt panic and fear grip his heart as he opened his journal. He quickly skimmed through his writing before getting to the right page and chapter, he read to himself quietly.

"This epidemic seems to be taking its toll for others have already recognized the signature mark of this illness. For those infected will soon loss the pigment in their hair, fur, eyes or scales turn white. This doesn't affect humans and we still don't know how this illness spreads or where it came from, others and even I have named this the White death for we still haven't found a cure to".

Hero stopped reading to hold his head for he was getting a headache, "Aries....I'm sorry". Hero shook his head and skipped through the pages, not wanting to relive the memories that the words held.

"Once again the mysterious illness resurfaced and i'm determined to find a cure for this time my family is ill and I'm not losing them. The clan cats haven't found anything yet but my old friends the Delta wolves found something that what I hope is a cure. A flower called Spirit flowers but they only bloom in their forest, I must find them but entering that maze will only result in death for non had made it out or even to the wolves. Notch watch over me, for these flowers will save not only my family but others."

He skipped through more pages.

"I found the flowers and thank Notch they work. Every part of the flower can be used petal, leaves, stems and even the roots but we can't grow the flowers from our soil. It needs the soil from the Delta forest and I promise to not grow these flowers, the wolves will deliver flowers to those who need it. I still don't know what this sickness does but it seems to do something with the lungs, thank Notch this sickness will be cured for now but where did it come from".

Hero closed the book, the delta wolves have been dead for years and the forest is surrounded by walls of bramble ever since their extinction, he can't go into the forest to get what he needs but he wouldn't let them die. No on his watch, he isn't gonna loss his family again.

He'll need to face his past again.

He's not an owl hybrid he always had these.....he can just turn into an owl and yes the clan cats are based on warrior cats but these guys are different from the orginal
