Things are about to get serious

"Go now, take this to Lord Kraken. We need backup" Ashlie yelled giving the ender dragon the scroll that contained every information in this base, "Go Nightingale" she yelled as the female ender dragon looked at her rider. Ashlie smiled lightly and kissed her muzzle, "We'll hold up for as long as we can but please fly like the wind". Nightingale backed up before taking to the sky, her powerful wings carrying up into the night sky making Ashlie look at the dragon before stumbling slightly as the sound of tnt was heard. The red head took a deep breath before unsheathing her sword and walking back to where most of her army was waiting for her orders, Nick looked at her worried but Ashlie gave a reassuring smile as she looked at the soldiers before her.

"This fort will not fall, not while we breath and stand her tonight" Ashlie yelled making her soldiers cheer loudly, "For the Delta kingdom" she yelled as a lion leap to her side, "For Night" Nick yelled loudly making warriors roar back.

"Please hurry Nightingale"

"There is always some delicious fruit over here" Duni said as he lead Dory through the forest, the archer has recovered already since he didn't have an severe wounds like Dommy. So Duni decided to take him with him to get some fruit, Dory was happy to go along knowing the Duni posed not threat to him or his friend. "So is he like your biological father or", "No he adopted us, me and my siblings come from different mothers" Duni said. "Wow that's pretty cool and amazing at the same time" Dory said while Duni smiled his tail wagging slightly, "Yeah we love each other but love or father more for all he did for us" he said making Dory smile lightly. "I'm glad to know that there are still people out there we can count on" he said making Duni chuckle lightly. "Come on the fruit trees are somewhere around here" he said taking Dory's hand making him blush lightly as Duni pulled him around, Duni stopped suddenly and looked around. "What is it" Dory asked seeing nothing in the trees, "Do you hear horses or is it just me" Duni said sniffing the air. "I believe it must be a wild herd" Dory respond making Duni shrug it off, "Your probably right".

Though right above the thick tree branches right above the two a battle of speed and wits was happening, the same ender dragon from before was trying to lose the soldiers on her tail. She can't die here but leading enemy soldiers to their base is something she can never do, but she can't seem to lose Sky's best soldiers and now she's running out of options. Nightingale did a 90 degrees turn in air and breath out a large blast of dark purple fire from her jaws making the soldiers on their mounts side step the dragons fire breath the crashed into the cliff side. "Damn it does this thing not give up" Max yelled as Nightingale roared loudly before flying higher into white clouds as the few warrior cats he had in his team looked around warily for the ender dragon. "Maybe she finally got away" Ross said to the ginger who growled in frustration but a yowl from a warrior made him look up to see the dragon dive bomb them and grab the large feline in her claws before flying up again. The feline tried to claw his way out of her grip but his claws barely scratched the dragons tough scales, Nightingale dropped the warrior below knowing the fall will surely kill the traitorous feline but the dragon roared in pain as an arrow pierced the weak skin between her wings. The dragon tried to rip the arrow out but another well timed shot hit its mark, right between her wing joints. Nightingale felt her injured wing quickly give up on her, she was unable to keep herself in the air any longer and she soon plummeted to the earth below like a heavy stone. A sickening crack was heard as she crashed into the cliff side before tumbling down and landing in the heavy forest below, crashing through thick tree trunks.

"How do we reach her" Max asked as Ross shrug, he did all the shooting, He was surprised with himself when he land that lucky hit that brought the messenger dragon to the earth. "We'll get the message" a warrior by the name of Mist fur said as he and two other felines started scaling down the cliff side slowly but surely, they were built to live in these types of rocking conditions so scaling this thing was a piece of cake for them. But even that loud crash held consequences for even Duni and Dory head the noisey descend, "it came from this way" Duni said dragging Dory through the brush before they both found the injured ender dragon female. She laid completely still almost looking like she was dead but the faint rising and falling of her chest told Duni another story, her left wings was bent on an awkward angle while her right wing was under her large black and purple body. "I-is that a-", "That's an ender dragon" Duni said almost shocked by the sight. "What is it doing here" Dory gulped while Duni looked at the injured dragon, "She looks hurt maybe we can help her" he said taking a small step forward but the snap of a branch made Nightingale's eyes shot open. Duni froze as the dragon raised her head and tried to stand up, she snarled seeing Duni and Dory and roared loudly making them both back up. Nightingale narrowed her eyes and let out a blast of purple fire, Duni grabbed Dory and them both fell to the ground managing to dodge the fire.

Nightingale roared, "Come on we should get my dad he knows alot about ender dragons" Duni said grabbing Dory, he nodded and ran after Duni leaving the injured dragon. Nightingale tried to stand but fell back down, another branch snapping made her head shot up and look to where the noise came back. "Hey hey calm down girl" Tommy said slowly approaching her making Nightingale snarl, "Hey it's okay maraax". The ender dragon quickly calmed down hearing the familiar word, it meant yield in her tongue, every soldier in the Moon army was taught that word to calm a frighten dragon or to allow a dragon to recognize friend from foe. Nightingale sniffed Tommy and purred lightly smelling the scent of her army, she soon roared pointing at the saddlebags on her sides, Tommy quickly looked through them and found the scroll. He recognized the familiar marking of Ashlie, a lions paw print in red ink, by now Tommy forgot about his mission to spy on their demons. He needed to get this to Cory and the others since she can't fly, Tommy quickly put the scroll in his own satchel bag and looked at Nightingale who stared back at him, her eyes told her to go and get help. "I'm sorry" Tommy said opening his wings but froze hearing the crashing of the brush behind him, Nightingale snarled loudly trying to stand again.

"Well well looks like you small cranium traitors finally arrived" Tommy said taking the dagger off his belt and turned to look at the three large felines, "Well well if it isn't Cory's little assassin" Mist fur snarled as his two allies started to circle the pair, Tommy started searching for a way to escape but he saw no way out of this, he knew how high these felines can jump. They can take down a healthy male buck solo for Notch sake. "Why don't you make this easy and hand over the scroll" Mist fur said making Tommy grip the satchel tightly before using his spare hand to throw the dagger hitting a warrior in the eye making him yowl in pain, Mist fur snarled and lunged at Tommy but Nightingale had other plans and snatched the dark blue warrior in her jaws. Another jumped at the dragon but she smacked the feline with her powerful tail sending him crashing into the tree trunk, a sickening crack was heard as the feline fell to the ground unmoving. Tommy was caught off guard as the one he blinded grabbed his wings in his jaws and wrestled him the ground, Mist fur tried to claw at Nightingales muzzle but like his friend. His claws barley left scratch marks on the dragon's scales, he tried to claw at her eyes but Nightingale threw him up in the air before catching him in her jaws again.

She bit down with a bite force stronger than a nile crocodile, a loud snapping sound was heard and Mist fur yowled in pain before going completely limp. Nightingale threw the corpse of the feline in a random direction while Tommy tried to push the large feline off him, he could feel the cats long claws scratch and tear at his side, Tommy yelled in pain feeling the feline bite down on his wing. It felt like the bones in his wings shattered, he couldn't move his other wing because the large feline had his paw hooked onto the appendage, his claws holding on to the feathered limp not letting go. Tommy quickly pulled his arm from under him and jammed his fingers into the cats working eye making it yowl as he used his free arm to pull the dagger from the feline's already bloody eye. Tommy gave a shout of pain as the feline jumped back, feeling his claws tear through his side and now injured wing. The assassin got to his feet and stumbled back to the dragon who wrapped a protective wing around him snarling loudly, smoke coming from her jaws, the feline shook her head and snarled ready to pounce but yowled in pain as a bolt of white magic struck her shoulder making her stumble back.

"I don't like resorting to violence but I will kindly ask for you to step off" Hero said making the feline snarl at the mage, she backed up slowly thinking of retreating but that thought was now broken when Nightingale grabbed her with her clawed paw making her yowl in surprise and start to struggle. "No please she want to surrender" Hero said as Nightingale growled as the feline struggled out of her grip and tried to run but Nightingale slashed her at her side making her fall back feeling the large claws tear through her neck and chest, "Duni Dory look away" Hero yelled as the two demons covered their eyes as the female fell to her side bleeding heavily. Hero watched her tried to breath but blood filled her lungs making her cough loudly spitting out the red fluid in her lungs, she tried to take in air with raspy breath but blood soon bubbled up from her muzzle and she soon stopped breathing in general. Nightingale used to tail to smack the corpse into the brush making Hero take a sharp breath as Dory and Duni uncovered their eyes, Hero looked at the dragon and spotted Tommy leaning against the dragon holding his heavily bleeding side.

Hero took a deep breath, "Easy easy", Hero looked at the dragon in the eyes seeing the slight tint of pink in her purple eyes. "Easy girl, easy" Hero said slowly walking up to her making her snarl loudly. Duni and Dory stayed hidden as Hero slowly lifted his hands up making her snarl, "Easy now maraax". Nightingale looked almost startled as the mage said the word that in her mind made him look like a friend but how, she never seen this person, he doesn't smell like them who is he. Nightingale snarled feeling Hero's hands on her muzzle making her press Tommy close to her body, "Shhh I won't hurt you dear" Hero said looking at the dragon straight in the eyes. She blinked slowly and Hero returned the slow blink, almost like gaining a cat's trust, Nightingale allowed Hero to run his hands down to her injured wing and pull the arrow out of her wings before struggling more with the one that was lodged in her wing joint. The arrow was lodged between two scales, Hero was trying to pull it out without leaving the arrow tip lodged in her skin afraid of letting her get a possible infection. Once the arrow was removed Hero took a look at her other wing which was clearly broken from her fall, she didn't have any major injuries maybe a few broken bones but that won't kill her.

Hero looked at her, "May I see him now, I promise I won't hurt him". Nightingale seemed a little hisited but she soon opened her wing to revile Tommy holding his bleeding side, "Hehe I'm alright Carl no need to worry about-" Tommy coughed harshly, "Me". Hero slowly approached the assassin who was beginning to pass out from blood loss, Tommy fell to the floor breathing heavily as he felt his vision darkened. Hero took of the satchel he had and began to patch up the assassin, Dory watched in amazement seeing that the mage calmed down a dragon while Duni gave a small smile always loving how Hero was so loving to be able to care for people he doesn't even know. Hero did his best to stop the bleeding with all he had but in the end after going through two entire bottles of healing potions he assumed it was better to treat Tommy at home which would be a challenge. He made sure the injury was tied tightly showing that it won't start bleeding before he hoisted Tommy on her back, Nightingale growled lightly but Hero reassured her with a light smile. "I'll be back I promise, Duni take Dory and run ahead. Tell Ddawn to get all my supplies out".

Hero wiped his brow and stretched tiredly, he walked over and pick up a small potion of healing and held it to the assassins lip, making sure Tommy drank it all. It took a lot of work to keep him from bleeding out and a lot more to keep his injured wing out of the way, the assassin lost a large amount of blood and his left wing was broken. Hero made sure all of his belongings were locked away but he couldn't stop thinking about how this stranger looks like Dommy, it can't be coincidence, it's too random to be one. Hero looked at the bag Tommy had before pulling out the scroll that he slowly opened, it read in bold black letters, "Urgent under attack, won't be able to hold the fort for long. Bring back up, medical supplies and please hurry. Location Fort dawnstar near the incebridge river". Hero sighed deeply, this was a war messenger and this is the reason why that dragon crashed into the land, messengers were always targeted in war for many reasons. Hero admires the idea of using Ender dragons as fast messengers but even that has it disadvantages, Hero rolled the scroll back up before putting it back in the satchel and sighing deeply.

He put the satchel back where he stored it, Hero quickly grabbed his own bag before filling it with anything he might need to tend the ender dragons injuries. "Dres, Dashlie I'll be right back do not disturb our guest. Ddawn your in charge of guest", With that Hero left and made his way back to Nightingale who somehow caught a rather large deer was was comping on the bones. She lifted her head seeing Hero again, "Okay lets see whats wrong" he said as she tried to stand up on her shaky legs. Hero made sure to check all four of her legs making sure none of those were broken and luckily they weren't any broken bones through one of her wings had to be popped back into to place while the other was clearly broken from her landing on it. While Hero was patching her up he couldn't help but wonder how he's gonna deliver this message, though he doesn't want to take sides it doesn't feel right to hold onto something this important. More people will die because of his lack of sharing information, Hero sighed deeply making Nightingale tilt her head.

"Your people aren't gonna die, I promise. I'll find a way"

Ddawn was checking on Tommy's condition, not only was he beat up pretty badly Hero warned him that he might have some breathing problems. The android sighed deeply and looked through the cabinets for more potions of healing hoping they will strength his breathing a bit, Ddawn managed to find one but was surprised to find the satchel on the top shelf, Ddawn grabbed a chair and climbed on before opening the leather bag. He saw the scroll and some other junk, Ddawn opened the scroll and read what was inside. This was worrying, maybe Hero will deliver this himself but Ddawn couldn't help think of the people who would die if this wasn't delivered. I mean if the army losses this fort will this turn the war around for Sky would that be a good thing or a bad thing, he doesn't know. Ddawn put the scroll and satchel back on the shelf before closing the cabinets and focusing his attention back to Tommy, Ddawn noticed how similar Dommy and Tommy looked, Not only did they both have wings though from different bird species they almost had the same facial structure and body built.

Something was up and Ddawn was gonna get to the bottom of this

Once Hero returned Ddawn questioned his father about the scroll, "We aren't gonna do anything" Hero said making Ddawn gasp. "But father they need our help what if the army of the sun gets an upper hand" he said making Hero look at Ddawn, "War is something I want my family out of Ddawn, we will do nothing understand". Ddawn seemed taken back at his father's harsh tone, "Now go to bed , it's late". Ddawn nodded and made his way to his bed room where the others were already getting ready for bed, Ddawn climbed in bed and sighed deeply making Don look at him confused. "Is something wrong brother" he asked making the others look at Ddawn, "The person we rescued was a messenger of war and now father won't allow us to help him or his army" he yelled making Dres sigh. "He has his reason Ddawn" the vampire said, "But think of the people we could save" Dashlie said making Ddawn, "that's what I said but he still refused to deliver the message". "Maybe we can do it" Duni spoke up making Dres growl, "No we could get killed and he said no anyway". "Duni could be right" Dashlie said standing up, "I know how to defend myself, Ddawn can heal while Duni and Don make good support" she said making Don smile lightly. Dres sighed, "Even if we could we don't know where one of the bases are, it'll be impossible" . "Umm I know where one is", everyone looked at the doorway where Dory was standing, "sorry for eavesdropping but I couldn't help but over here". Ddawn raised an eyebrow, "How do you know where an army base is located". Dory messed with his fingers, "M-me and Dommy helped the night army from time to times and we learned locations of some of the building or maybe the dragon in the woods will help". All of the siblings talked among each other while Dory waited for a response, "He has a point guys, we could possibly help a huge cause on this world".

"This is insane" Dres hissed making Dashlie roll her eyes, "Lighten up Dick, stop being a goody two shoes and have fun". "Fun, we are walking into a war zone, we could all die for Notch's sake", "So you agree with us" Don said making Dres groan, "I'm only coming to protect you but once that message is delivered were all going home". Dashlie smiled, "I knew you had it in you Dick" she said patting the vampires head. "What the hell did I get myself into to" the vampire said rubbing his head, "We should leave tonight since father will be busy with the messenger" Duni said as the others nod in agreement. "I'll get Dommy" Dory said going to wake the raven, Ddawn grabbed his bag while the others started to pack for the trip. Ddawn sneaked into the room where Hero kept all his potions making sure not to wake the mage, Hero was exhausted today with all that happened and way out cold but he wasn't a heavy sleepier. Ddawn pulled some potions and medical supplies off the shelf and grabbed the satchel before closing the cabinets slowly. Dashlie and Dres grabbed their normal weapons which was a duel pair of steel axes with Dashlie's dual swords with fire enchant. Duni and Don took care of the other stuff was packing food and clothes. When Dory came with Dory and the items they arrived with Duni slowly cracked the window open and climbed out, the others soon followed. Ddawn opened the scroll again, they will make a difference. Hopefully they aren't making a mistake.

Hero woke up with a start, he bolted up and quickly got up. The mage stopped to make sure Tommy was in stable condition but something was off, he can't feel his children's presence in the house. "No, no Notch no" Hero yelled throwing open the cabinets and his worst fears came to life seeing most of his potions and the satchel was gone, "No no no" he yelled gripping his own hair as he ran around the house trying to locate his children and the other two but no one. He saw the open window and quickly threw the door open and whistled loudly quickly drawing Night breaker to him, Hero didn't bother to saddle the horse and just mounted him like that. Hero rode the black stallion into the woods only to discover that Nightingale was gone, "No dear Notch why" Hero cursed loudly as his dismounted Night breaker. Hero fell to his knees and held his head in his hands holding back the tears that threatened to fall, Night breaker nudged his own with his muzzle. "I...I can't lose any more to war" Hero sobbed loudly his voice almost echoing into the tree line but his shout didn't reach the ears of his family but a party of soldiers that came to investigate their messengers disappearance.

"Did, did any of you guys hear that" a white tom with a blood red tail and red stripe down his back said to the rest of his feline party, "I didn't hear anything Red tail, maybe it was your imagination" a silver she cat with dark grey stripes said making the tom gulp. "Silver stream, Red tail might be onto something. I heard it to" a large ginger tom said making the she cat look at the ginger tom with her blue eyes, "Are you sure Fire heart, maybe it was just an injured animal" Silver stream said as Fire heart looked back at her with his forest green eyes. "No I heard it, it might be our fallen comrades, come on this way" he said running out the thick tree line and into the clearing. The black night sky shone brightly with stars, that almost mocked the mage crying below them.

A dragon from above watch the whole scene with interest knowing the chain of events that will occur but a wolf made of pure stars lowered her head, she hated seeing her lover like this. She looked at the dragon god who gave a small nod making her silver eyes light up as she ran out of the night sky, she will protect these children with her new life and watch over them.
