Hinata's POV:

-Flash Back-

"N-N-Naruto kun... m-may I speak to y-you?"  I stuttered shyly. 

Today I am planning on confessing to Naruto. Even if he said no I wanted it off my chest, but somewhere in my heart I wanted him to accept me and my love for him.

"Sure thing Hinata chan!!! What do you want to talk about." Naruto yammered.

"I-I-I want t-to talk to y-you in private... f-follow me please." I stuttered. 

I slowly lent out my hand which Naruto pleasantly toke. The feeling of his warm hand made a giant red tint cover my pale face but I pushed it back because I needed to focus on this confession.

I took him under a Sakura tree that was behind the school, it was vibrant and beautiful. Ever since I was young I knew I would confess to him here. It was silent for a while till Naruto broke the silence.

"This tree reminds me of Sakura chan, one it's called Sakura but two it's beautiful and I love it."  Naruto said proudly and smiled his big white smile. 

My heart instantly broke in two, his words cut through my chest like a knife. He looked at me with his big blue eyes.

"I asked sakura chan to meet me up here soon, I want to confess my love to her." He smiled and looked up, eyes staring at the Sakura trees petals. "I hope she accepts" He then looked back to me "So lets make this quick, what did you want to talk about?" He spoke openly.

I felt tears swelling up in my eyes but I pushed them back. My heart then split again. 

"N-N-Nothing Naruto kun I-I just want to give you luck on your c-c-confession"  I said but my voice shook violently. I closed my eyes and gave him my biggest smile yet, then waved goodbye and walked away. I was about to run then he spoke again.

"Thank you Hinata chan!!!" Naruto shouted

"N-N-No p-p-problem" I whispered. My body trembled while I ran. Once I was out of sight I sat against a Pine tree. I put my head in between my knees, hands grabbing at my hair. Then I let it all out. Hot tears ran down my cheeks. "Why do I even try" I said to myself.

Then after awhile I thought to myself. "Get over it, he was never yours move on" I put my chin up, and I promised myself I would change my life and find a new meaning.

-End of Flashback-

"This is a new year and a new me. I will make the first day of highschool count and the days after that" I said to myself as I got into my new uniform. This is the new me... Then I gave my biggest closed eyed smile.
