Chapter 17

"We are going home," Yeonjun was singing a song he made up as he was wore his white short with the help of his mother.

Taehyung smiled at his son's happiness and then stood up.

"Do you think we took everything?"

"Yes!" Yeonjun nodded.

"Jungwoo Songsengnim brought our bags!"

"Alright," Taehyung smiled again.

They were at Nana's kitchen, and they had a silent Jungwoo and angry Nana along with them.

"Now," Taehyung handed the sandwich he made for Yeonjun to his small hands.

"Eat your breakfast, and I'll wake your daddy up, okay?"

Yeonjun nodded happily, and Taehyung entered the guest room.

Jungkook was sleeping silently under the covers. He had left them last night again, like he did before, but this time, he had found Taehyung waiting for him when he returned.

They had talked, argued a bit, and then sorted things out, and now it was time to leave for their home.

"Jungkook," Taehyung called out softly, and climbed on the bed beside his husband.

"Come on love, you have to wake up now..."

Leaning over, Taehyung kissed Jungkook's bare shoulder blades, and then laid his head over his back.

"Come on, Jungkook," Taehyung said again, and rubbed Jungkook's side.

Jungkook growled and then opened his eyes slowly and came face to face with Taehyung's hugely smiling face.

"Morning," Taehyung whispered and then kissed Jungkook's lips softly.

"Get ready, okay? We're waiting for you."

Jungkook nodded slowly, and get up as Taehyung left the room. In ten minutes, he was ready to go.

"Let's get going then," He said, and Yeonjun nodded happily.

When Jungkook moved to leave after his family, a hand grabbed his wrist and he looked back to see Nana's bloodshot eyes.

"You don't have to go," Nana said softly.

"You could stay here with me..."

Jungkook rolled his eyes, and then turning around, he faced Nana.

"Hope you survive this," He murmured.

"I would love to see your reaction afterwards, but well..."

Jungkook shrugged, and then hisred eye's met with Nana's wide eyes.

Nana sucked in a deep breath, and then fell onto her knees, crying silently.

Without sparing a glance at her, Jungkook left the house, and found Taehyung waiting for him at the door.

"What did you show her?"

Taehyung asked, and they easily held hands and started walking after Jungwoo and Yeonjun.

"Us," Jungkook said simply.
Taehyung sighed but didn't comment.

They met with all of their
warrior at the entrance of the city.

"Is everybody here?" Taehyung asked loudly.

"Yes, my lord!" Their strong voices echoed in the silent city.

Taehyung smiled.

"Thank you so much for coming to rescue me, and Yeonjun. After we turn back to the city, I'll reward you guys with anything you want!"

"Apple pie!"

Somebody in the crowd shouted, and Taehyung had high suspects that it was Soobin, though he didn't say a word, and smiled.

"Apple pie, then," Taehyung said happily.

"We'll have an apple themed party, and everything will be made with apples. You can even dress as an apple!"

Everybody laughed, and the only one who seemed to cheer was Yeonjun.

"I want to be a red apple!"

Yeonjun said, jumping up and down.

There was a chorus of laughter again, and Taehyung couldn't help his soft laughter.

"Alright," Taehyung smiled.

"It'll be fun, and we won't invite this bastard!"

Taehyung started poking Jungkook's cheek, trying to get a reaction from him.

Taehyung knew that Jungkook wouldn't be satisfied till he made Seoul pay in a way, and illusion seemed to be the best option. Taehyung still didn't approve of it, but he knew, Jungkook needed to do what he did, otherwise he would never be able to move on.

Besides, Taehyung knew, Jungkook didn't hurt all of the people. He mostly punished the ones he remembered of giving a hard time for Taehyung, and badmouthing about Minho and his family, and calling Jungkook and Taehyung traitors. Jungkook had demanded Taehyung to tell him who exactly hurt him in the past, and Taehyung had refused, and Jungkook had settled for the ones he remembered.

So, Taehyung wasn't going to disturb Jungkook about this more than he already did.

"Cut it," Jungkook hissed, but made no attempt to stop Taehyung's fingers.

Jungwoo laughed softly. "You used to fight like a dog and cat. But, it seems Jungkook has matured enough to not to respond to you."

"It's not like that at all, Jungwoo Songsengnim!" Taehyung cried.

"This bastard won't raise a finger against me even if he dies of annoyance."

Jungkook rolled his eyes, and Jungwoo raised an eyebrow.

"I can't hurt the mother of my children," Jungkook said softly.

"There he goes about it again!" Taehyung exclaimed and then smiled lazily.

"But, it's kind of sweet, isn't it?"

Jungwoo laughed again. "Yes, I think so."

Taehyung smiled again, and then sighed softly. "It's time to go now."

Jungwoo's smile dropped immediately.

Seeing the sadness in his former teacher's eyes, Taehyung walked to Jungwoo and hugged him tightly. Jungwoo hugged back, pushing back his tears.

"I've just found you, and you're going again," Jungwoo whispered.

"I'm sorry, Jungwoo Songsengnim," Taehyung said softly.

"Why don't you come with us? I know that we can make you happy in the Daegu!"

"Tae, he can't leave just like that," Jungkook said as he folded his arms.

"Besides Jaehyun wouldn't let him."

"Jaehyun-songsengnim?" Taehyung blinked.

"Why?"

"You, wife, are the most stupid thing alive," Jungkook said, an eye twitching.

"Uhmm, Jaehyun and I are together, Taehyung," Jungwoo said, blushing deeply.

"Oh, wow," Taehyung rubbed the back of his head with a grin.

"That's wonderful!"

"Isn't it?" Jaehyun approached them slowly, and he wasn't alone. Hye Jin was following after him along with Yonggi, the only one Jungkook didn't go after.

Taehyung smiled. "Then I say you visit us whenever you're free!"

"That sounds good," Nodding, Jungwoo smiled happily.

Taehyung smiled softly and then walked to Hye Jin.

They talked in hushed voices for a while, occasionally Taehyung was nodding, and then they ended up hugging each other.

Jungkook didn't question Taehyung as the brown hair joined his side, and they left the city slowly, with Taehyung waving at Jungwoo frantically.

"Ohh, daddy, mommy, look!" Yeonjun drew their attention after a while.

He was holding a puppy in his arms, and he had a huge smile on his face.

"It's so cute," Taehyung said and kneeled beside his son, caressing the pup.

"Can we take it with us, please?" Yeonjun pleaded softly.

"But, baby," Taehyung took his son in his arms.

"I'm sure it has a mommy somewhere... If somebody came and took you away, I would cry too much."

Jungkook was watching the two interact easily. Taehyung was always good at making the things easy in a way their son would understand.

"Yes," Yeonjun nodded and let the pup go.

He sulked for a while, but then forgot about it, and started walking ahead with Busan warrior.

Taehyung and Jungkook stayed back, and they held hands as they walked lazily.

"I think I need a long holiday," Taehyung said, rubbing his stomach.

"Yeah," Jungkook agreed and thought for a while.

"I'll take you to hot springs."

"Really?"Taehyung exclaimed happily.

"Yes Taetae," Jungkook nodded and then added with a playful smirk,

"I hope you'll give me some attention then. You need to fulfill your wifely duties after all..."

Taehyung chuckled, it had been a long time that he let Jungkook call him wife. He thought it didn't matter, they were married and that was about it.

"I already fulfilled my wifely duties," Taehyung said with a smile.

"I gave you a beautiful son, and I'm bearing another one. So, it's your turn to fulfill your husbandly duties, and please me."

"Is that so?" Jungkook smirked and then whispered in Taehyung's ear.

"You can trust me on pleasing you just the way you like."

Taehyung blushed, and then gave Jungkook a quick kiss.

"Then I leave the matter to your hands, Captain."

Smirking, Jungkook bowed down deeply.

"As you wish, my lord."

Taehyung laughed softly, and then tugged at Jungkook's long hair.

Jungkook hissed. "Stop it, Stupid."

Taehyung smiled mischievously. "Make me, Kookie."

Taehyung started laughing merrily, as he run ahead to catch up to the party, Jungkook following behind him closely.

Even after years and years, even after fighting, trying to kill each other, even after running away, and chasing after the other, even after getting married and having children, this was all about them.

Just Jungkook and Taehyung.

Just them, and their love.
