Chapter 12
Jungkook landed softly on the ground after jumping off the trees, and started walking into the city. It wasn't called Busan for nothing.
The city was surrounded by waterfalls and valleys, protecting it from enemy eyes. Also, the birds always sang their song in a perfect rhythm that every people knew by heart, so any changes, and they would know something was wrong.
He lowered the black veil that was covering his face as he entered the city. He walked down slowly, and started greeting the people as he approached to the lord's headquarters. He needed to give a report about his mission, and take a long, very long nap afterwards. A nice plan.
Jungkook stopped walking in the middle of the busy road suddenly. Maybe he even forgot to breath but he didn't care. Because the most beautiful sight he could land his eyes on greeted him, and left him in a state of warm dizziness.
Taehyung was standing a few meters ahead of him. Talking to the people animatedly, and smiling happily. Once in a while, he was looking down, and checking the baby he was holding. He was talking to the infant softly, cooing to him, and smiling, and getting an innocent, toothless smile in return.
Taking a deep breath, Jungkook walked to his little family slowly. His son looked at his way, and started squealing immediately, making happy noises, and grabbing motions with his small hands.
"What is it, YeonJun-ah?" Taehyung asked to his son and looked at where his son was looking. Immediately, a beautiful smile covered his face as he saw his husband approaching. "Who's coming?" He asked to his baby gently as he kissed his chubby cheek lovingly. "My son's daddy coming…"
Jungkook wrapped his arms around his most precious people, and first kissed his son's temple, and then his lover's petal lips.
Taehyung blinked in surprise. Jungkook wasn't a man that liked showing affection in public. He always avoided getting too intimate in front of the people. But, today was different than usual, still Taehyung didn't mind the gesture, and smiled at his love.
"Welcome back Jungkook,"
Taehyung said, and Yeonjun made a noise, as if agreeing with him.
"I'm home," Jungkook smiled softly, as his son tried to grab his long hair. "How have you been?"
"Good," Taehyung smiled at Jungkook.
"How was the mission?"
"Success," Jungkook caressed his son's dark hair softly. "I was coming to give you a report."
"It's okay," Taehyung said, looking at Jungkook's weary face. "You can give it to me tomorrow, you should rest now."
Jungkook nodded, took Yeonjun from Taehyung's arms, the baby trying to stuff Jungkook's hair into his mouth immediately. "I'll take him with me, you should focus on your duties."
"Are you sure?" Taehyung asked, trying to stop his son from eating his husband's hair.
"Yes, don't worry," Jungkook smiled at Taehyung.
Taehyung smiled back. "I've just fed him, so you guys should be fine for a few hours."
"Okay," Jungkook nodded, and kissed Taehyung's forehead quickly. "See you later."
"See you!" Taehyung smiled at his boys, and started walking to his office, as Jungkook headed to their home.
"Okay, Yeonjun," Jungkook smiled softly, as his son focused his dark eyes on his face immediately. For a six month old, Yeonjun was exceptionally intelligent. But, it didn't surprise Jungkook, the child was an Jeon after all. "Were you a good boy when father wasn't around?"
Yeonjun blinked his eyes, and then a smile covered his chubby, pale face. He made a noise, which Jungkook interpreted as a yes.
"That's my son," Jungkook smiled proudly. "You didn't upset your mother, did you?"
Again, Yeonjun made a noise and Jungkook took it as a no.
"That's a good boy," Jungkook nodded seriously. "You can keep chewing my hair."
The baby squealed in delight and then clasped his chubby hands, knowing that he had achieved something. Then, he grabbed a hold of Jungkook's long hair, put it in his mouth immediately.
Jungkook took a deep breath as he entered their house. He walked into the bedroom immediately, and placed Yeonjun in the middle of the bed, not wanting him to fall down.
He took of his clothing, till he had only his tight black boxers on, and then stripped his son of his bothering bodysuit that was covered with little Jeon symbol, and leaned down to smell his diaper. His face changed its shape after inhaling the horrid scent, and then got a new diaper to change the soiled one.
"Alright," Jungkook pulled Yeonjun's legs gently, and the baby fell on the soft bed, laughing happily.
.
.
.
After Taehyung overcame his depression, everything had started going well for them. Taehyung had recovered from the birth, but he still lacked his energy control. But Jungkook thought that he would regain it soon, because the Taehyung was working on it everyday.
Yeonjun had gained weight, and lost the blue of his eyes, now they were as dark as midnight sky. He was really soft and chubby,Jungkook could easily say that his son was the cutest baby ever. Of course, he wouldn't expect less from his and Taehyung's creation.
Jungkook opened the diaper Yeonjun wore, and frowned as he saw the poop the little baby managed to get out. He got a new diaper to change the old one, but before he could, his son started peeing right into his stomach.
"What the…" Jungkook's left eye started twitching as Yeonjun started giggling merrily.
Sighing, Jungkook changed Yeonjun's diaper quickly, and then went to the bathroom, getting rid of the smelly old one, and cleaning himself up quickly.
When Jungkook returned to the bedroom, he found his son yawning, and rubbing his face with his small fists. Smiling, Jungkook climbed on the bed, and lied down beside his son.
"Let's sleep now, okay?" He said and started rubbing Yeonjun's belly.
The baby fought with his eyelids for a while, but then gave in and his eyes dropped heavily.
Jungkook watched his son's sleeping face for a while. And then lied down on his stomach, and put an arm over Yeonjun's belly, not wanting him to fall down in his sleep, and covered their naked bodies with sheets.
Soon, Yeonjun's steady breathing lulled Jungkook into a deep sleep.
And that's how Taehyung found them. They had managed to get rid of the comforter, and Yeonjun was cuddled up to Jungkook who was holding him tightly.
Taehyung smiled at the sight that warmed his heart, and then carefully, he covered their naked bodies again. He kissed their cheeks softly, and then went to prepare dinner.
.
.
.
"Jungkook he's just eight months old!" Taehyung exclaimed finally. "It's normal that he can't walk yet!"
"Shut up Taetae," Jungkook yelled back and held his son's hands tighter. "Come on son, we gotta prove your Taetae of a mama wrong."
"What did you say, you bastard?!" Taehyung shouted louder.
The people laughed at the display, they had gotten used to the Jeon couple's bickering already, it was entertaining to watch.
Jungkook was holding Yeonjun's hands tightly in his, helping him to take small steps slowly, but surely.
"See," Jungkook looked at Taehyung arrogantly. "I knew he could do it."
Taehyung sighed as he folded his arms. "I hope our baby won't take your bastard self," He said and walked ahead quickly, thinking of getting the supplies they needed.
"Come on Yeonjun, walk to your mother," Jungkook encouraged his son, and let his hands go.
Yeonjun shook on his feet for a moment, and then took a step towards Taehyung's walking form, and then another, and then he lost his shaky balance and fell down heavily.
He started wailing immediately, tears leaving his big, dark eyes. "M-Ma…"
Taehyung's heart skipped a beat as he saw his son lying on the ground, calling out to him for the first time.
How long had he waited for this? How he had longed for someone to born loving him, not learning to love him? How he had craved for his own family? To grow up, grow old, simply live with them?
Tears started leaving his eyes, as his son's father picked him up, and started dusting off his knees. It was something Taehyung never had as a child. Another thing he didn't have, was a mother that would cry because he was crying.
Taehyung closed the little distance between them, and dropped to his knees taking his son in his arms.
"M-My baby," He kissed his son's wet, chubby cheeks lovingly. "I'm right here, so is your father… We'll never leave you, we'll always be there for you…"
He checked Yeonjun's small hands and sighed in relief as he found no injuries. He kissed the chubby hands, and hugged his son tightly. Yeonjun fisted Taehyung's white kimono, and buried his face in his neck, stopping all his movement.
"Taetae," Jungkook wrapped his arms around his two loves. "Let's go, I'm sure he'll want your milk."
Taehyung nodded, and stood up with Jungkook's help, and leaned into his husband as a strong arm wrapped around his waist.
.
.
.
Jungkook entered their home, after turning back from a short mission. He needed to help a farmer with his planting, no big deal.
He looked around the house, and saw the only light coming from the bathroom. He walked quickly, and pushed the door open slowly, and frowned at the sight.
Taehyung was holding their son as the child tried to pee. He was already red, and tears were leaving his dark eyes, as he tried to push whatever was inside of his body.
"Poopy go out," And Taehyung's stupid song wasn't helping at all.
"Tae, what are you doing?" Jungkook asked at last.
"Kookie!" Taehyung's face brightened as he saw his bastard husband at the threshold. "Go get me the lube!"
"The lube?"Jungkook frowned deeply. "Are you planning to finger our son? I'm not letting you."
"Bastard," Taehyung hissed. "Can't you see the pain he's in?"
Jungkook looked at Yeonjun's face and dark, teary eyes greeted his own hard ones. "Da…"
He blinked, as his heart clenched painfully. "I'll get the lube," He mumbled, and was quick to get the lube from bedroom and turn back to the bathroom.
They switched places with Taehyung, and Jungkook held Yeonjun as Taehyung lubed his fingers and then his son's hole.
Jungkook's eyes twitched in annoyance.
"I hate this," He hissed. "I won't let anybody touch my son when he grows up."
Taehyung raised an eyebrow. "Kookie, are you jealous of your son?"
"What if I am?" Jungkook challenged. "He belongs to me! I'll break their necks if they dare to come near to my son!"
"Kookie, think of what we're doing to each other," Taehyung said patiently. "What would you do if my father tried to break your neck? Or yours mine?"
"It's different," Jungkook said stubbornly.
"Whatever," Taehyung sighed, and pushed a finger in gently, trying to pull out the poop.
Yeonjun whined loudly, and held onto Jungkook tighter, and Jungkook found himself singing the stupid song, "Poopy go out…"
Whether it was the song, or the lube, Jungkook didn't know, but Yeonjun managed to get the fucking poop out, and they all took a sigh of relief.
Jungkook hugged his one year old son, as Taehyung washed his hands, and they all walked to the bedroom. Jungkook gave the baby to his mother, and Taehyung opened his kimono, immediately, Yeonjun latched onto one of Taehyung's nipples, sucking happily.
He raised a small hand, and started caressing Taehyung's hair, as his eyes closed. Smiling softly, Taehyung caressed his baby's back, trying to get him to relax, and forget about his pain.
Jungkook sat down beside them, and watched them silently with a soft smile. Then, reaching over, he started rubbing Yeonjun's small feet in circles. Yeonjun left the nipple with a loud pop, and smiled at Jungkook widely. Jungkook couldn't help but smile back.
"Kookie, don't distract him,"
Taehyung said, he also had a smile on his face, and then urged his baby to have more.
Taehyung sighed happily, as Jungkook took him in his arms. He closed his eyes, as he rested his head on Jungkook's shoulder.
.
.
.
Taehyung coughed a few times, as he cleaned his mouth of bitter taste of the vomit. He brushed his teeth quickly, and then looked down at his stomach, smiling softly. He caressed his abdomen for a while, and then got out of the room.
"Yeonjun-ah, are you ready?" He shouted as he took his backpack and left the bedroom.
"Yes!"
Taehyung heard his son's soft footsteps before the child came to his vision.
Smiling, Taehyung leaned down, and kissed his son's forehead, the child smiling back.
"Are you ready?" Taehyung asked, and Yeonjun nodded wildly.
"Yes, mommy!"
"Show me what you're taking with you," Taehyung knelt down, and together they started going through the things Yeonjun managed to fit in his small backpack. "Do you really need your encyclopedia?"
"Maybe I can catch a huuuge cat!" Yeonjun said excitedly. "And daddy will be so proud!"
Taehyung smiled softly. "I'm sure he'll be… Now, get your blanket from your wardrobe, okay? It might be chilly at night."
"Okay!" Nodding, Yeonjun run to his room.
Taehyung stared after his five year old son with a smile.
The child was the exact replica of the five year old Jungkook, from the duck butt hair to the pale skin, and dark eyes, to the clothes he wore –white shorts, long sleeved dark blue shirt.
To be honest, Taehyung loved it. Loved every passing years by seeing Jungkook grow up again, this time with a difference. Yeonjun wasn't a gloomy child like Jungkook, nor was he a troublemaker like Taehyung. He was a balanced and carefree child. He had the confidence both Jungkook and Taehyung lacked once. He knew that he had his mother and father beside him. No matter what, ready to protect, support and love him.
Taehyung snapped out of his daze as Yeonjun came running back with his blanket in his hands. Smiling, Taehyung put the blanket in his own backpack, Yeonjun's was already full, with his story books, his green dinosaur - passed to him by his mother, and of course his encyclopedia.
"Are we ready?" Taehyung stood up quickly, but stopped suddenly as dizziness took over him.
"Mommy!"Yeonjun cried, and wrapped his small arms around Taehyung's waist, steadying him. "Are you alright?"
Taehyung took a deep breath and smiled at his son. "Yes, love, don't worry."
"Is my brother hurting you?" Yeonjun asked softly.
"No, baby," Taehyung smiled. "It's completely normal. Same things happened when mommy was carrying you here," He put a hand over his stomach.
Yeonjun blinked and pressed an ear against Taehyung's abdomen, and listened for a few moments. "I can't hear him…"
Taehyung chuckled. "He's way too small for you to hear, love."
Taehyung was expecting their second child, tough Jungkook didn't know it yet. He was away on an important assassination mission. V had contacted shortly to tell Taehyung that he was having another son, and then the energy had left Taehyung completely, going to support the baby.
"Let's go?" Yeonjun asked as he looked up.
"Yeah!" Smiling, Taehyung held his small hand in his bigger one, and they left their home.
They walked down for a while, and Yeonjun left Taehyung's hand and run ahead, disappearing in the crowd.
In the last five years, Busan had expanded unbelievably. From everywhere, they had people coming to the city after hearing how safe and stable it was. It meant more work for Taehyung, but he loved working for the people that cared for him and his family.
After walking, and talking to people on his way, Taehyung stopped as he saw Bambam and Yeonjun approaching to him. They were holding hands, and in their free hands, they had plastic cups, and they were sucking on their straws happily.
"Hey, Taehyung," Bambam smiled as they stopped in front of Taehyung.
"How are you?" Taehyung smiled back.
"Good," Bambam said with a smile. "My man Yeonjun told me you were going somewhere."
"It's a fest'val!" Yeonjun chirped.
"A festival," Taehyung corrected with a smile. "It's on the borders of Daegu. It's a huge festival, and I want Yeonjun to see different people and traditions. I think we'll be back in a week."
"That's a great idea," Bambam smiled. "Maybe we can join you next year."
"That would be nice," Taehyung smiled and then took Yeonjun's hand in his. "Say hi to Lisa from me."
Taehyung had accomplished his dream of having a hospital in their city. They had lots of medics, and Lisa was their head. And, more importantly, Bambam and Lisa had come together,Lisa finally had overcome her Jungkook obsession.
"I'll," Bambam nodded. "See you guys later."
"See you!" Yeonjun smiled widely, and then started walking with his mother.
Soon, they left the crowd and the city behind, walking in the forests.
"Will it take too long?" Yeonjun asked once they stopped for the night.
"Hmm, maybe two more days?"Taehyung answered as he handed Yeonjun a sandwich. "Sorry baby, daddy knows these paths better than me."
Yeonjun smiled widely. "Daddy knows everything!"
Taehyung chuckled. Their son adored Jungkook. "He does, doesn't he?"
In three days, as Taehyung predicted they arrived at the festival. It was as beautiful as it was said to be, and Yeonjun seemed really happy. He was running from stall to stall, trying every game and attraction, and eating everything he could land his hands on.
"Aren't you tired, Yeonjun?" Taehyung asked, knowing that his son needed his afternoon nap.
"I don't wanna go back yet," Yeonjun said, blinking his big, dark eyes.
"How about we stay here tonight?" Taehyung suggested. "You can look around more tomorrow."
"Yes!" Yeonjun nodded happily.
"Alright then," Taehyung smiled. "Let's find a hotel now."
Yeonjun nodded, and then took Taehyung's hand, guiding him through the crowds.
Taehyung smiled softly. Yeonjun was an exceptionally gifted child. He was a prodigy among prodigy.
Jungkook had tested Yeonjun himself and they had learned that he possessed three energy natures, fire, lightening and wind. He had gotten his parents' talents, and possessing more than two was extremely rare.
Sometimes Jungkook indulged their son by teaching him simple techniques, but mostly they didn't teach him anything serious.
Taehyung even didn't let him touch anything sharp. They wanted their son to live his childhood, he had long years to learn how to be fighter.
"Hmm, how about…" Taehyung stopped talking as he saw four men standing where they headed.
He bit his lip as he realized all of them wore Seoul headbands.
He squeezed his son's hand, and stopped him from taking another step. "Let's change our way, okay?"
Yeonjun studied Taehyung's face for a moment, and then nodded.
They turned back to leave, but stopped as somebody called after them,
"Hey! Jeon!"
Taehyung cursed to his stupidity. Their clothing had Jeon symbol behind them, he should have covered them before leaving the city. But he had never thought that he would come across with Seoulfighter.
He turned back reluctantly, and saw the two of them closer than before, other two checking out something form a little book.
"How can I help you?" He asked with a forced smile.
"It's him," One of the men at the back said, as he approached the others. "Kim, Taehyung."
Taehyung took a step backwards. "What do you want?"
"As Seoul warrior, we're responsible of taking you back to the city," One of them said. "You're a missing fighter, so is the Jeon."
Taehyung frowned. "I've nothing to do with your city. Let me go, I don't want to hurt you…"
One of them snickered. "Hurt us, huh?"
Taehyung took a few steps backwards as they started advancing on them. He looked at Yeonjun. "Yeonjun, I want you to run into the woods, and hide. Mommy will come to find you later, okay?"
Yeonjun hesitated for a moment, then nodding, he took off to the woods, not looking back.
"Go get the Jeon kid!" Two of them started running after Yeonjun.
"What?" Taehyung shouted. "Leave my son alone!"
"Don't worry, we're here to take you," The remaining two approached Taehyung.
Taehyung frowned but was quick to attack them.
They were B ranks, but still, Taehyung was quick to kill one of them, and knock the other out. He stood thinking just for a moment, he couldn't leave them alive, otherwise they would come after him and Jungkook, ruining the peace they worked so long to get. Leaning over, he took off the dead fighter's headband, and looked at the bloody material.
Taehyung heard a cry, and then his son's voice reached him, "Mommy!"
Not lingering for a second, Taehyung started running. He took of his white headband, and together with the Seoul one, he threw them against a tree with a sword, and then kept running.
He stopped, breathing heavily, as he saw them holding his son with a sword pressed against his pale throat. There were tears in his big eyes, it was obvious that he was scared.
"M-Mommy…"
"Let my son go," Taehyung hissed.
"We're taking him and you to Seoul," A fighter said.
"Take me then," Taehyung said quickly. "Just let my son go."
"You're both coming," The one who was holding Yeonjun pressed the sword deeper into his baby skin.
Taehyung took a deep breath, but when he met with his son's teary eyes, he forgot whatever he wanted to say. "Okay," He mumbled. "Just give me my son."
"Not so easy, Kim," The one he had knocked out approached behind him, and put a few paper bombs on his back. "Now, go get your son. And hold him close," He smirked, and pushed Taehyung into the child.
Yeonjun run to Taehyung as he was freed form the grasp. Taehyung picked up his son, who wrapped him arms and legs around him, and hid his face in the crook of his neck.
Taehyung started walking as felt somebody pushing him.
He caressed his son's back, and realized that he, also, had paper bombs on his back. Not letting his son realize it, he whispered to him gently, "Don't you worry, everything will be alright…"
He wished he could believe in his own words.
