Jack Frost (by Clifton Bingham)
When winds blow cold, and the winter comes,
And all our fingers feel just like thumbs
Then Jack Frost comes along, you know,
And peppers all the world with snow.
An icy smile his sharp face wears,
As to nip the children he prepares;
But all the little folks laugh at him,
His bitter smile and pepperpot grim!
They skate on his ice and play with his snow -
They don't care a pin for him - oh dear no
