Artist - By *Star-Wolf*
As usual, Adrien got to his first class of the day early. Unusually, he was using this extra time to draw. It was unintentional at first, boredom had led him to begin swirling his pencil in the back of his homework paper, when he noticed that the lines almost formed something.
For the next few minutes, Adrien refined this "something" into a more detailed picture of the subject, more specifically a portrait of a young woman. A women, he saw often. He was so focused on his drawing that he barely registered his classmates trickling in.
"
Wow, Adrien! Nice sketch of Marinette!" Alya exclaimed over his shoulder. The class turned to him, and Marinette, who had been lightly dozing behind him shot up in her seat.
"Thanks Alya, but..."
"It's pretty sweet, dude." Nini said as he lightly elbowed Adrien's side. The couple glanced at each other, mischief in their eyes.
Marinette slowly walked over to stand by Adrien's desk. It was a rough sketch, but it was undeniable that it resembled her. Those where her bouncy pigtails, her eyes. Her turtleneck? No matter the details, Adrian either drawing her or being inspired to draw based on her was enough for her to erupts into a fiery blush. "I'm fla- flattered Adrien."
"Sorry, Marinette." Adrien said rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "It's actually a drawing of Ladybug."
You could hear a pin drop.
"Not that I wouldn't draw you! Your really pretty too!" He rushed to make sure that he hadn't offended his not drawing subject, before petering off.
With her blush deepening rapidly, Marinette covered her face with her hand before looking away. The boy, peered back to his paper as his hand, once again, found its way to the back of his neck.
"I guess it didn't really capture Ladybug's likeness. It looks more like you cos-playing her."
"You could make one half Ladybug, one half Marinette; our everyday Ladybug." Alya said before she leaned back into her seat.
"That would be cool." Adrien laughed as he turned the page over to show the homework side. "But..."
"Really, dude?"
"Yeah."
As Ms. Bustier entered the class, everyone returned to their seats. Adrian flipped back to his drawing. It looked almost hauntingly similar to Marinette. I guess this is why I'm not an artist. After all, my lady and my friend don't look anything alike. Yep, completely different.
