(Y/n)'s POV
"uh oh." My eyes shot open and I looked at the clock. "UH OH." Scrambling out of bed, I threw on a tshirt that had a little design on a titty pocket. It was a cat with a sly expression, but when you slightly pulled the pocket down, it held up a beautiful pair of middle fingers. Sadly I can't leave my room without pants. So I threw on some jean shorts. Nearly tripping over myself, I got over to my desk to slap on some concealer/foundation. However it wasn't cooperating. "Damnit, hide the ugly!" I mumbled to myself trying to get the makeup all over my face.

You fixed your hair and slipped on your favorite shoes. Checking the clock again, it read 7:20. "Okay, I got time." You dusted yourself off and went down to the kitchen for some breakfast. Beth was making toast and eggs for everyone and your stomach rumbled from the godly aroma. "Lookin' good (Y/n)~" Rick purred from his seat. Rolling your eyes, you took the plate of toast and eggs that Beth handed you and sat down. A few seconds later, Morty and Summer trudged down the stairs. "Oh, hey guys!" You chirped, happy to see the people that'll help you get through the day.
You said your goodbyes to everyone, except Jerry, and left to the bus stop with Morty and Summer. "You look really nice today, (Y/n)!" Summer complimented you. Morty agreed with her as a slight blush crept on his face. "Just be careful, though. Some people in school are, like, weirdos. I'll be by your side most of the time to help you." You looked at Summer with a mixed expression. "Most of the time..?" You echoed back to her. "Well yeah...." Summer kept talking but you blocked her out getting paranoid about what could happen. All you said was "okay.." after she finished rambling.
You got to school okay, but could've dealt without Summer's bragging about you on the bus. In a way, it helped you out but in another, it didn't. You didn't need Summer telling everyone how pretty, funny, strong, and kind you were. 'Cuz bitch you already knew. ✨
When you walked into school, the principal pulled you aside and brought you to his office. "Hello, (Y/n), my name is Principal Vagina, please do not laugh," you snickered anyway, "Since it's your first day, we'll let you leave classes early to find your next ones. And if you get too stressed out, you can come to me or the guidance counselor so you can be released from school early. We'll let you have these opportunities until the beginning of next month." You smiled with excitement. "I get a free pass to ditch!! Sweet!!" You thought to yourself. "Thank you so much Principal Vagina!" You couldn't help but laugh a little after that statement. Welp. Off to class you went.
Apparently you had a few classes with Summer! You also had lunch with her and Morty. That's something to look forward to, right? You ended up ditching school after what happened in your study hall. You loved that class now thanks to a couple of skanks and fuckboys who decided "Hey, lets go be a bunch of pricks to the new girl." What a fan-fuckin-tastic idea !
You were reading your textbook making an attempt to find answers for your homework. Finding what you were looking for, you jotted the answer down. Next thing you know, your book was slammed shut in front of you. Sighing, you look up at a culprit wanting none of this. "What do you want?" You spoke flatly. He chuckled and looked down at your work. "Honors Chemistry, hm?" He asked. You nodded your head in response and crossed your arms. "Big deal, this is the last time I'm gonna ask. What do you want?" This fuckboy with bleach blonde hair leaned against the table with a smirk on his face. "Well..I think we might have some chemistry together, if you know what I'm saying." You scoffed and looked him dead in the eye. "Are you for real?! Go fuck with--" "HEY WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?" You jumped back a bit shaken from this hoe that jumped out of nowhere. "I could ask you the same thing...?" You responded calmly trying not to shout and make a scene, but she's already got that train chuggin.
Choo choo, bitch.
"WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU CAN HIT ON MY BOYFRIEND?!" Okay. This set you off. She tied her long blue hair up looking like she was ready to fight you. You laughed at this. "Did you NOT see what just happened?! Are you that fuckin blind!? That blue hair dye is getting to your head." You tried your best to keep your gaze towards her, not the rapidly growing crowd. She scoffed and slapped you in the face. Your mouth opened in surprise but it quickly turned into a smirk. You heard an oddly familiar voice shout in the crowd, "you go, Tif!!" ....Tif? That was her name? "You want to fight me? Really? Here?" You laughed when she tried to swing at you. "I don't know how stupid you are, but for the record, I was the one getting hit on." You caught her fist right before it hit you in the tit. You scoffed and punched her right in the cheek. Tif shouted in pain and spit out a tooth. "Whoops." You stated sarcastically. You picked up the tooth and handed it to her. "Keep this as a note. A note not to fuck with me." Earning 'oohs' from the crowd, you smiled and you were about to spin on your heel to walk away. But you let your guard down for half a second. Tif socked you in the eye and all you could see was red.
You inhaled hard immediately getting pissed off. Because of your reflexes, your hand shot up to your eye and you felt something drip in it. Looking at it, you saw it was blood. You got even more pissed when you saw Summer in the crowd. "You know what..?" You mumbled. "You're not worth my time." You shoved past Summer, grabbed your stuff, and left. You texted Jerry to come pick you up. Beth would've been too concerned and she has a job anyways.
You stayed in your room for the rest of the day. You were crying ever since you got home from the amount of pain your eye was in. There was no way her knuckle could've done that to your eye, she was probably wearing a ring. You looked in the mirror afraid for what you would see. Your whole eye was red. No wonder some of your tears were bloody. Your eye was black, purple, blue, and horribly swollen. "There's no way that makeup can cover this up.." You needed to put ice on your eye, but you weren't taking the risk that Rick would see you.
Beth began to worry when you didn't come down for dinner. "Where's (Y/n)? I haven't seen her since I got home..she'd usually give me a hug when I walk in the door." Jerry frowned. "She never gives me a hug." "Well maybe if you got a jo*bURP*OOB, she will." Rick commented. "M-m-maybe she's in her room, mom. She-she might not be feeling well." Morty suggested. Summer stayed silent knowing what happened. Speak of the devil, you walked in the room wearing a pair of sweet ass shades. "What's up?" You asked everyone, except Jerry. "Where were you?? I was worried!" Beth got up and hugged you, which you gladly hugged her back. "Sorry Beth I-I was uh..sleepin." You sat down next to Morty. "What's up with the glasses (Y-Y/n)?" Morty asked. " 'Cuz I'm cool, Morty." You responded snapping your fingers into finger guns. "HEYOOO!" Rick yelled holding up finger guns as well. Jerry slowly started to hold up some finger guns. Rick noticed this and glared at him. "Jerry put your fucking hands down."
After dinner, you quickly went back up in your room with tears filling your eyes yet again. You couldn't believe you didn't break down during dinner. Your right eye only has blood-filled tears, it's not getting better at all. You heard Summer's footsteps in the hallway and quickly yanked her into your room, you figured now was a good time to yell at her. "WHAT THE HELL SUMMER?!" She winced a little bit but you didn't care. "SO MUCH FOR 'STAYING BY MY SIDE' AND 'HELPING ME OUT' TODAY. THANKS A LOT." She started to get mad. "Well sOrRY, (Y/N)! SORRY THAT YOU COULDN'T HANDLE A LITTLE FIGHT!" Tears filled your eyes. Luckily, they only started to fall in your good eye. You were still wearing the shades. "I HEARD YOU CHEERING THAT SKANK ON!! WHAT THE FUCK!?" Summer glanced at your bloodstained pillow. "SHE'S MY FRIEND (Y/N)!! LIKE YOU WOULD KNOW ABOUT FRIENDSHIP!" You laughed sarcastically. "ME?? KNOW ABOUT FRIENDSHIP?! You know what, here's a little something I know." You paused thinking you heard footsteps out in the hallway. "Summer Smith, YOU are a HORRIBLE. FRIEND." "I was just supporting her!" "SHE'S A TOTAL BITCH, SUMMER! AND SO ARE YOU FOR NOT HELPING ME OUT." You ripped off your shades and threw them to the ground. "LOOK AT MY EYE, SUMMER!!! LOOK. AT. MY FUCKING. EYE. YOU COULD'VE HELPED THIS BY GETTING YOUR SMURF ASS LOOKING FRIEND AWAY FROM ME!" Blood poured from your eye when you tried to blink. She was shocked and she fell on your bed.
"Hey! C-can you guys keep it--" Morty opened the door to your room and stood there frozen, gawking at your eye. "-....down?" "M-Morty it's okay!" "I knew you were lying--I knew it! Come on, Rick can help you!" "No! It's enough trouble that half the school knows by now!!" "actually, the whole school now." Summer rudely bumped in. "SHUT UP, SUMMER! GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!" She scoffed, pushed past Morty, and went to her room slamming her door. "(Y/n) please your eye looks horrible! W-We--We gotta fix it!" You were trying your best not to yell at Morty. He was only trying to help you but you didn't want anyone else involved. "Morty I'm fine!" You told him firmly. "(Y/n), god damnit, this ISN'T FINE!! RICK NEEDS TO HELP YOU!!" You sat on your bed and wiped the tears off your face. "I--I wish I could've h-helped you when that happened.." Morty gently told you. "I know..because you're a good person." You hugged him burying your face in his shoulder. "I'm sorry that my yelling bothered you earlier.. I'm not usually like that.." you mumbled. "It's okay..I would've been really pissed too." Morty hugged you and gently rubbed your shoulder trying to calm you down. "Will you at least let me put ice on it?" You sighed in defeat and told him to go get it.
Morty went down to go get some ice for you, but when he opened the freezer and there was none. "rick." He rolled his eyes and trudged to the garage. "Rick? Do you have the ice?" Rick looked at him with an eyebrow raised. "Ye*bURP*AH. Why?" He asked sternly. "I just--I-I just need it." Morty smiled nervously. Rick eyed his shoulder. "Morty why the hell is there blood on your shoulder?" Morty looked at his shirt. "Oh! Uhh that's--that's just a stain." "It wasn't there at dinner.." Morty scratched the back of his neck. "Can I just--have that ice now, please??" He asked. An idea popped into Rick's head. "Fiiine, here." Rick scooped some into a plastic bag. Morty thanked him and wrapped it up in some paper towels in the kitchen.
Rick silently followed him to where he was going and he heard him talking in (Y/n)'s room. "I-I-Is that okay?" "Yeah, thanks Morty." Rick was confused. He peeked into the room and saw the broken pair of shades on the floor. "(Y/n) was wearing those at dinner." His thoughts raced. "I heard Summer yelling earlier, did she hurt her?..agh fuck it." Rick walked in the room not bothering to knock. "Hey what's--*buURP* goin on?" Rick's eyes widened when he saw (Y/n) holding the ice to her eye. "oh jeez" "H-hey Rick!" They said at the same time. Rick raised his eyebrow at you. "What happened." He asked sternly demanding an answer. An angry expression flooded on her face. "Why don't you ask Summer? She should know." You responded with hatred laced in your words. "Did she do this?!" Rick shouted. "No!--N-No it wasn't Summer." Morty explained. Rick sighed and sat next to you. "Lemme see." Rick looked at you concerned. You took the ice off your eye with a shaky hand. There was blood all over the paper towel, but at least your eye didn't hurt as badly as it did before. Rick sighed and stared into your bad eye. "Summer knows about this?" He asked quietly. "She watched the whole thing go down." He pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. "I'll be right back. Keep the ice on your eye and I'll be back to flush it out."
Rick barged into Summer's room with a pissed off look on his face. "Spill. What happened." The drunken scientist crossed his arms. "Nothing happened, grandpa." Summer rolled her eyes, annoyed. "Well if no*buRP*OTHING happened, you wanna explain (Y/n)'s fucked up eye?!" Summer stayed silent. "You realize that she can go BLIND, right? She--sh-She can go bLIND in that eye because you wanted to be a bitch a-a-and not help her!? Thanks for being a shitty friend, Summer. Look where it brought you." He walked out slamming the door a bit.
Rick brought (Y/n) into the garage and Morty went to bed because it was late. "School sucks, (Y/n). It's not a good place for smart people like you. I-I-I know what you're capable of." You smiled a little thanking him. "This might sting a little.." he squirted water in your eye to rinse out the blood. "Holy shit! There's a cut on your eye." You cringed and a little 'ew' slipped out of your lips. Rick examined your eye thinking of a solution. "Hold on." He muttered and rummaged through a box on his desk. You heard his quiet footsteps walk back over to you. "You're much stronger than you think you are, (Y/n). I'm proud of you for that. I'm surprised I haven't heard about you from other Ricks before." Your face scrunched up in confusion. "You'll see one day." He put a drop of whatever the hell he found in your eye. It didn't hurt like that other serum. Thank god. It felt like nothing.
Rick covered your left eye and held up his other hand. "How many fingers am I holding up?" He asked making a peace sign. You responded with the correct answer. "How about now?" Rick asked again, holding up his middle finger. You laughed with a bright smile on your face and you tugged down on the pocket of your shirt revealing the sly cat's little hand gestures. Rick smiled and leaned a little closer to get a better look at your eye. "How does it feel?" "It's just sore..from the bruise around it." Rick handed you and ice pack. "Go--go get some rest, you can stay home tomorrow. Y-You're better than that place anyways. Jerry's an idiot for--f-for enrolling you." You hugged Rick tight and he made a little 'oof' noise out of surprise. "Thank you so much! I wish I could repay you." Rick smiled and hugged you back. "There's no need, all that matters is that you're safe. That bruise should be gone in ab*bURP*OUTTA few weeks."
Rick patted your head. "Night (Y/n)." You walked to the door, looked back at Rick, and thanked him one last time before heading off to bed.
I remember when I told myself that this was gonna be a short chapter. That's funny. I'm sorry that it was so long :( I hope you liked it.
