Installation 4: Their schedules

Installation 4: Their schedules

So, welcome back one and all! I actually have a book next to me, one of the few accounts that I could find. This one is written by someone who watched from a distance, but she saw all. Here's the list of the people and their classes.

In this, the four letters shown are the first four letters of the class. There isn't enough room to just normally write out the names. So, in case you can't tell, have a key:

Lang. is Language; Scie. is Science; Hist. is History; Surv. is Survival; Codi. is Coding; Tech. is Technology; Busi. is Business; Firs. is First Aid ; Curr. is Current Events; Crea. is Creative Writing

I suppose I can also give you the general idea of how these classes worked, as well as any important seating arrangements.

In Language classes, there are four to a table. This was just a normal English or Language Arts class. In period 1 Language, Preston sat alone, at a separate table from everyone else. He also shared the class with two of the authors whose books I am studying. Their names are Hope and Brigitte, but I'll get into them at a later time. In period 2 Language, Pete, Choco, Vik, and Kenny shared a table. In period 6 Language, Mitch and Rob sat as far away from each other, another one of the authors I study sitting with Rob. Her name is Rosie. In period 7 Language, Mat, Jerome, and Lachlan share a table –unwillingly.

In Science classes, there are two people to a table, and they are automatically lab partners. This class was a mixture between general science and biology. In period 1 Science, Pete and Rosie shared a table. In period 3 Science, Mat and Lachlan shared a table, Jerome and Vik at a separate table close by. In period 6 Science, Kenny sat with another boy; I think this says his name is Noah? I'm not sure, but he isn't really important to the story. In period 7 Science, Preston and Choco shared a table, Mitch and Rob seated at another table, but it was still nearby.

In History classes, there are three to a table. It was a simple history class, beginning at the colonization of America. Do you know of America? I hope you do, it's a great land. It's been destroyed by those before us, but the artwork of what it once was is amazing. Rolling hills, small box houses, miles of farmland. Sorry, I got carried away again. In period 1 History, Mat, Jerome, and Vik share a table. In period 3 History, Preston, Pete, and Rob share a table, Choco and Kenny having a separate table. It doesn't appear that they shared it with anyone, but I can't tell. This author's handwriting is a mess, at least in her charts. In period 5 History, Lachlan and Mitch shared a table, and I can't read the third name. It's definitely not one of the main characters, though.

In Math classes, there are only single-seated desks. It is a simple algebra class, nothing too complicated. In period 1 Math, Choco, Mitch, and Lachlan all sat in the room, both Mitch and Lachlan making sure they were close to Choco. In period 5 Math, Mat and Rob ended up sitting near each other in the back, both trying to avoid attention. In period 7 Math, Vikk, Kenny, Hope, and Rosie shared the class. They all sat at different points of the room, except Hope and Rosie were right next to each other. In period 8 Math, Preston, Pete, and Jerome all sat as close to each other as they could.

In Survival classes, you were free roam. It was basically to practice fighting, hunting, gathering, building, and any other skills you would need if you got stranded for whatever reason. Often, on Mondays, they would have lecture; the students would stand or sit around the room and listen to the teacher talk. The rest of the week you were free to do whatever you wanted. In period 1 Survival, there was only Rob. Or, he's the only main character. In period 2 Survival, Jerome, Lachlan, and Hope shared a class. In period 3 Survival, it was only Mitch. In period 4 Survival, Preston, Pete, Choco, and Kenny shared a class. In period 5 Survival, there was only Vik and Rosie. In period 6 Survival, there was only Mat.

In Gym classes, you were also free roam, for the most part. The teachers would try to organize a different sport every week, but very few actually took part. It sounds quite pathetic, in my opinion. In period 1 Gym, there was only Kenny. In period 2 Gym, Preston, Mitch, Rob, and Rosie shared a class. In period 4 Gym, Mat and Vik shared a class. In period 6 Gym, Pete, Choco, Jerome, Lachlan, and Hope were all in a class together.

Music, Art, Technology, Creative Writing, Current Events, First Aid, Coding, and Business classes were all electives, with two people to a table. In period 2 Coding, Mat sat alone in the farthest corner. In period 3 Art, the three authors I study all shared a class, bonding and comparing notes. One would always put up a chair, making the two-person table fit three. In period 4 Technology, Jerome and Rob shared a table, Lachlan and Mitch separate. In period 5 Technology, Preston was alone.  In period 5 First Aid, Kenny and Choco were partners. In period 5 Business, Pete and Jerome shared a table. In period 6 Coding, Preston and Vik shared a desk. In period 7 Technology, Pete took a class by himself. In period 8 Music, Mitch and Vik shared a class, sitting at different tables with other people. In period 8 Creative Writing, Choco and Hope shared a table, Rosie and Rob being at another nearby. Brigitte had another table nearby by, and I can't read the name of the person she shared it with. In period 8 Current Events, Mat and Kenny shared a table. In period 8 Coding, Lachlan shared a desk with a boy named Jay; I don't know who he is though.

I think that's all I have time for today. The detention bell is about to ring. Man, that was a lot of reading and organizing. You're lucky that I care about the fact that you're reading this, or else I would have just copied over the chart from the book. Hope's handwriting is terrible- the girl who wrote this book. Welp, the bell rang. See ya next time, Peace!

Why yes, I did make myself one of the authors of the narrator's sources. And why yes, as of now I plan on writing the "book" she's using as her source. After this one is done, of course. Well, until next time, Peace my cheeses!

(Also please let me know if the schedule chart doesn't show up on your device and I'll find a way to fix it so you can see it.)
