Our Night...

We gossiped over midnight dark blue

No light but the moon to witness the truth

So many secrets revealed, we are truly one sole

The light snoring from the neighbouring beds

Our toilet adventures past the midnight strikes

In the middle of a wild place, that no one knew

Only food and drinks missing from our midnight feast

The muffled laughter behind our hands

The excited facial expressions of each other saw us through

In to the hour we talked and laughed, only one us missing the feast

Under the starry skies we stripped our hearts

But we flinched away from the ending soon to come

It came to the ending that we dreaded with all our hearts

Tears streaming down our faces and into the buckets that brimmed

I hugged you all so, so tight, knowing that it will be our last time for another long time.
