Chapter 1; Memories

Ace's POV

I blinked a few times before I jolted awake. I dashed to the door and saw that I was on the very infamous Moby Dick. I quickly looked around and then another infamous pirate noticed me. The First commander, Marco the Phoneix.
"Your awake-yoi." he muttered, "Oyaji* wants to see you-yoi."
(Oyaji = Pops in Japanese)
I grumbled a little bit before I followed him. Well, I am on an enemy ship and also somewhere in the middle of nowhere.

I slowly followed and I looked for that lady. Nowhere to be seen. The only person I found was a cross-dresser. Then we arrived at a door. Marco then opened the door and let me in first. The room was dimly lit. There was Whitebeard sitting there snoozing and the lady I saw before I passed out.
"Oya-" Marco was cut off with a vine.
That vine wrapped around Marco's mouth. Stopping him from speaking. There was a piece of paper on it.
"Keep him asleep. he needs a bit more healing," it said.

The lady them lowered her hand and the vine retreated and went back into the plant pot. She then stepped up from her chair and walked out. Marco then followed her and so did I. We then walked to the very head of the Moby Dick and the lady turned around. On the way, I saw a few of my crewmates. They also secretly followed from behind.
When we walked to the very head of Moby Dick the lady then turned around.
"Marco, you may leave. I will take care from now," she said with a closed eye smile.
"Ok, Ka-san," Marco said before turning around and leaving.
(Ka-san = Mother in Japanese *inpolite)

Leaving me and her to stand at the top of the Moby Dick. She then faced me and turned around facing the ocean. She spread her hands and talked to me. Impolite really.
"You should thank me you know," she said.
"Why would I?" I huffed.
"I'm the reason why they let you on the boat."

She then turned to me. This time I saw her whole body. She had an hourglass body shape and had really long legs. She still wore a Kimono but her body line was easily told. Her long black hair waved in the breeze as her warm hazel eyes looked at me. I felt calm already around her.
"Why did you?" I asked.
"Because I want you on this ship. You remind me of someone and you made my heart clench when you..." she then stopped mid-sentence and looked away.

She shook her head and looked at me again. She then smiled and continued to talk.
"Nevermind about the reason, Whitebeard wants you on the ship." she continued.
"No! I can't do that! I've got stuff that I want to do!" I yelled, "I don't even know you yet!"

She took a step back when I yelled. My body was on fire. I mean literally.
"Well, kinda wasn't my decision so if you want to leave you got kill Whitebeard. If you can, that is." she smiled, "Or come after me."

I growled under my breath and attacked her. With a dagger that I had on my belt for the whole time. Her smile turned monotone and that's when I felt fear. She lifted her hands as her eyes glowed green. Vines then grabbed my leg and made me face plant to the ground.

By accident though I burnt the plants. Her eyes went from green to red. She then lifted her leg out of the kimono and kicked me with a metal like leg. Which sent me towards the ocean. She was able to kick me? I'm a logia? My Nakama that was secretly watching us then rushed towards the railing to catch me, which failed.
"Lier, you said you're just gonna have a chat." one of them said.
When I was about to fall in the sea, Marco caught me in the air.

"I need to talk to you-yoi," he said as he carried me away.
"You said you would just have a chat and not harm our captain." one of my Nakama accused.

"He burnt my plant and it's crying. He deserved it," was her answer.
When I was hung upside down I saw the girl patting a human-shaped vine that had a burnt hand. She was speaking to it. Wait, I forgot to ask her name. Geez, talking about being impolite.

A towards the top of the crows nest where there was no one was around he then pushed me into the mast.
"Oi, do you know anything about her-yoi. What kinda connections do you have-yoi?" he demanded.
"What? Her? Why do I have to answer you!" I said as I pushed him away.
I got into my fighting stance. You never know what might happen at this point.

"I don't even know her name and don't even want to be here," I shouted back.

I swear I felt someone's heart flinch. But I put it aside. He stayed calm and then walked towards the edge of the crows nest and perched like a bird.
"Let me explain about her a little bit to see if you even know her a little bit. She's our mother of this group and also she's the only women." Marco said as he let his arms loss.

"Self-explanatory really. I only saw a cross-dresser when I walked past this crew." I said as I loosened my stance a little bit.

"She also doesn't have any memories of herself."
"WhAt!"

Suddenly he was in front of me with his fingers on my lips.
"Shhh." he shushed me, "If she hears this it might cause us all in trouble."
I nodded and gulped.

"We want to keep you in this group was because she was crying," Marco explained.
My eyes widened at the fact. I'm really just a stranger. Unless I'm forgetting. She said these two names that trigger something but I don't want to tell.
"When you went unconscious, she hugged you. Her tears didn't stop. She wiped them and wiped them but they didn't stop until you started to release a snot bubble." Marco continued.

I leaned against the mast and listened to his explanation.
"She was crying because it looked like you died in front of her. She was still holding her chest the whole time. She even visited you when she had he free time," Marco continued.

My ears were way too interested in the story.

"She was even the one that told us to not harm your crew. She even bowed to your group. I'm rather jealous. She had never bowed to anyone." Marco continued.

I only listened quietly. I then thought of a picture I found in Garp's pocket once.

Marco then flapped his wings and started to float in the air.

"So if you don't want to be impolite I suggest you shouldn't go after her." he said, "it's dinner."
He then flew to the very bottom. I then dashed towards where he left and I yelled.

"YOU HAVEN'T TOLD ME HER NAME YET!" I yelled.
