"No, Laksh isn't a spy, please." Ragini was begging under tears, but her father showed his cold side, "dafaa Ho yahan se {Get lost}!" He shouts at her and she frightened.

"Sir?" Laksh was trying to explain himself, but there was no way that anyone would listen to him.

Ragini ran back home to her mother, who was completely unknown about the ongoing happenings, "Ragini?" She was hell scared seeing her daughter in this state, she never felt weak, but today she enclosed her daughter into tight hug.

"What happen to you?" Her mother was asking trying to get a clue, but Ragini was devastated, she couldn't think nor talk, her heart wanted to cry only.

Laksh was in the jail of the headquarter, they tied him and started to beat him, they didn't waited for an arrest warrant or anything related to it [I'm not sure about any law of the Asian area].

Laksh was asked questions but he remains silent, he didn't utter a word, till.

"If you won't speak I will get your lover here, she helped you. Ragini Siddiqui, she will be locked up as well." Jamal shouts and Laksh anger rose, "she isn't my lover. She is a human with a golden heart, pure as holy what you aren't. Now I understand why she covers in front of you. Your dirty mind is reflected on your dirty eyes."

Jamal hits him again with the stick, "I'm allowed to do everything. I'm highest ranked officer here."

Laksh laughs sheepish, "so what?! Do you want me to give you respect for it? I'm a Major and I give a damn on your ranking, because you now worth it."

Again a hit, one after another one, Laksh was bearing it long enough that Jamal got tired of it, but Laksh was smiling, "come on I have still some areas which aren't black or blue, try to get them."

A few constables were suppressing their laughs, but a gaze of Jamal and they quieten.

He left the cell to get some new methods to harm him.

Shafaqat shook his head, "why you lied if you weren't here to spy on us?"

Laksh looked at him, "Ragini isn't my lover." That was all he was saying, "we aren't having any kind of illegitimate relationship, we are friends and not more."

Shafaqat hold the railing, he took a deep breath  to say something, but he was forcefully turned to receive a slap, "itni behrahmi Se usse maara tum ne {You are a merciless monster how dare you to hurt him like this}?!"

Ragini glares at him, "Koi haaq nahi hai tumhara ya kissi aur ka {You don't have the right neither anyone else}."

All were looking at a furious and fearless Ragini in her lawyer attire, "I'm his lawyer, defence lawyer get him down!" She shouts but Shafaqat shook his head, "I'm a police inspector, I don't have the right or ability to give orders or TO HIT A PRISONER."

Ragini looked at Laksh, her eyes were melting seeing him in this state, "the allegations on him are on spying on a country, but he said he is here to find his brother, I want a list of every known and unknown patient in the ward, then I want pictures maybe he recognises one, then I want to make a DNA Test to prove their relationship."

Jamal comes back, "there she is the traitor helping an Indian man despite of keeping her fathers reputation."

Ragini looked at Shafaqat with pleading eyes, "I'm sorry." She said in a low voice as she understood what he said to her.

Ragini made a fist, she took a deep breath and looked at the man, she hates the most, "Jamal Khan, I'm his advocate. He has a right to get a fair judgement. As long as he isn't proved guilty according to the law he is innocent."

Laksh widen his eyes, "I would have let her work. She is damn!" He said in his broke voice.

Shafaqat rolls his eyes. Is that just visible for me or are they trying to hide it? Love is between them, Ragini is unknown but he must know what love is.

Jamal was coming closer, Laksh looked at him anger, "stay in your limits, the distance between you should remain at least 5 meters." He warns Jamal, but Shafaqat stood next to Ragini, "Ragini you have a court order?"

Ragini shook her head, "no, but according to International law he can't held him here." [not a law knower so it's just imagination]

"Not in my custody. He will stay here." Jamal said and was stopped by Shafaqat, "I think it's enough."

He went inside the cell untied Laksh, who fall on Shafaqat, he hisses in pain, but remains strong in front of Jamal.

Ragini was glaring at him, "you will pay for that in front of the military court."

*Hahaha*

"Do you think anyone can do something against me. Better look after yourself and your father, who knows how long he will be in charge keeping a Spy at his place."

Ragini slapped him, "Don't you dare to say a word against the loyalty of my father toward his country!" She shouts and all were looking at her, "I will prove you wrong, he isn't a double agent or spy whatever accusation you are having against him. I will defeat you!" She gave him a clear warning and went inside the cell to support Laksh.

Laksh looked at her, "why you came back?"

"Ammi ne kahan, waqaalat kis kam ki, jab kissi begunaah ki madat na kar paye {Mom said why you become a lawyer, when you can't help an innocent person}?"

"Mothers are always right." Laksh said with a smile on his face.

The trio came out of the cell, her father was looking at them.

"What is your real Name?"

"Lakshya Maheshwari." He said and Ragini got a file, something she wasn't expecting but was happy to know that her father could see the innocent of him.

Ragini checked the file it contained numbers of injured soldiers, "Laksh how many months is he missing?"

Laksh remains silent, she understood he wasn't trusting someone at the quarter.

"Let's Go."

Laksh looked at her, "where?" He asked and she smiles, "I have a plan."

They were sitting in the jeep, Shafaqat was driving a thrill was running in his head. Yeh larki mujhe phasa ke rahegi {She will involve me for sure}.

"Shafaqat, lets go to your place and give him first aid, it's nearby." Ragini said and he pouts hearable.

Laksh was leaning on the seat, he had closed his eyes and thought of it again.

"Bhai why the army?"

"Laksh I'm just following Dad's footsteps. He too was in the army."

"Bhai he was, but not he isn't. He is retired and has a business why can't we..."

Sanskaar looked at him, "we?"

"Yes, we. Do you think I will let you join the army alone. We will do it together."

"No, you won't follow me into it."

Laksh was determined, "if you will join I will come too, nothing can stop me."

Ragini shakes him, "Laksh we reached, come." She forwarded her hand to him, he took it and stepped out of the jeep.

They went into the mansion, "both families seems to have a good earning?" He said, "great match."

Ragini hits him, "what earnings, half of it is from our ancients. Plus not a good match."

There was a Manja in the middle of the yard, she made him sit on it and went inside with Shafaqat.

"Sorry!!!!" She was holding her ears and he was looking at him, "you want me to keep him here?"

Ragini nodded with a big smile.

"Uff, this smile. After your broken heart it's the best smile of the day. Fine."

Ragini smiles even brighter, they came out with the First aid kit. Laksh was laying on the Manja with closed eyes, "I think he is sleeping. Let him rest."

"But his injuries? No, I will apply it with care."
Ragini took the kit from Shafaqat and went to Laksh, "I don't want it, it will burn." He said and they both looked at him.
