Katelyn's POV

I slowly open my eyes to see a white haired guy with two kids.

"Katelyn!" He hugged me but I didn't hug back.

"Um...who are you?" His face fell.
"Y-You don't remember me?"
"I'm sorry but I don't recall you."

He left out the room. I guess looking for a doctor. He left the little boy in the room.

"Mommy, are you okay?"

"Sorry but..um..I'm not your Mom." He didn't listen.
"Mommy. Did that car hurt you?"
"What car?"
"The really big one! It made a woud noise."
"Uhh-"

Then a doctor came in. "Hello Katelyn. I'm Dr. Doctor How are you feeling?"
"I..feel fine"

"Do you remember what happened?"
"No, and why am I in the hospital?"
"You were hit by a car. So we will have to run a few tests."

He made them get out. So they ran a few tests.

"Katelyn you are experiencing slight Amnesia. Your memories should be coming back to you over a period of time. Also you are free to leave."

I changed out of the hospital gown and waited for the white haired guy.
He came and we got in his car.

He turned on the radio and Locked Away came on. (Play song. And I'm not typing that WHOLE song on a tablet)

*sigh* I always loved that song. Anyways we arrived at what I presume is our house.

~time skip to when she is sleep~
(She's sleeping in their guest room)

Memory: 1

"Come on Sugar Pea! You'll miss the fireworks!"

I ran outside. Daddy put me on his shoulders.

"Daddy! Look at the blue one!!"
The fireworks were pweety! Mommy just came outside.

"Mommy! Look at your Favowite color!!"

Memory: 2

Mom was in the hospital. She had lung cancer. I was holding my little brother Max.

Today was supposed to be her last day. They were taking her off of Life Support.

"Mom..I love you so much." I cried into her chest.
"Shh..its okay Katelyn. I'll always be with you."

I held her hand and she squeezed my hand. "Please don't cry over me. I'm going to a better place."

I cried as her grip on my hand loosened and finally let go.
The heart monitor went flat.

"NOO! YOU CAN'T TAKE HER FROM ME!!" My dad had to pull me off of her.
I cried into his chest. I was scarred for life.
Why should a 10 year old loose her mother? You should ask the author that. (Uhhhhhh.....*slowly backs away*)

~reality~

I woke up crying. I saw that Daniel came in to sleep with me.
I was told he was my son so I don't blame him.

I wrapped my arm around him and fell back to sleep.
