Jeongguk felt happy. He gets to eat with Taehyung!!! And Taehyung himself was the one who invited him!!

Finally!!!!!

He smiled but it faltered when he saw Taehyung spacing out. Worries began to see on his mind, anxiousness coming back.

"Tae? Are you okay?" he asks,

Tae.

Then he realized he just called Taehyung 'Tae'. His eyes widened and he panicked. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't mea–" Taehyung cut him off

"It's okay, call me Tae all you want."

It seems like Taehyung's mind was back on track as he smiles at Jeongguk.

Taehyung internally rolls his eyes.

A person can't change in the span of 24 hours unless there has an ulterior motive. But in Jeongguk's case, he doesn't care.

He was too blinded by his love for Taehyung to even notice how suspicious Taehyung was.

His odd behaviour was too obvious yet Jeongguk still blindly follows Taehyung around like a pet dog. He still doesn't notice and will not bother noticing it. He's feeling euphoric at the moment.

"Hmm... Prepare your own food Ggukie. I'll be waiting here." he nods almost immediately as if he's gonna break his neck at how fast he nodded.

But he doesn't feel the pain, all he felt was happiness because not only Taehyung talked to him but also invited him for a dinner date— you could call it like that.

Jeongguk happily skips into the kitchen like a little kid to get his own plate.

Meanwhile, Taehyung on the living room's table, he pours the content of the small bottle to the orange juice in the glass, emotionlessly looking at it.

He will do it, for sure.

Later tonight, he would seduce him and by tomorrow, he will find Jeongguk lifeless. He smiles giddily at the thought.

Jeongguk came back from the kitchen as soon as Taehyung finished pouring it.

Well done.

The other who still has a smile plastered on his face while carrying a plate, spoon and fork with him.

"Tae, let's eat!" he said enthusiastically. Taehyung smiled at him mockingly, but Jeongguk couldn't tell since his mind was too occupied with Taehyung's dinner invitation to him.

This will be their first dinner together after two years of marriage.

For the past two years of being neglected and yelled at, finally!

Maybe Taehyung is really giving him a chance.
