"Daddy.  The little man called me daddy.  This is one of the best days of my entire life, babe."

"Aw!" Jessica reaches over and rubs Sam's arm.

"It's like.. when you have a child and they tell you they love you.. it's incredible!  It's the most incredible feeling ever!
.. But when a child that isn't biologically yours, and he tells you he loves you, and calls you daddy.. I mean that is wild!" Sam says with tears in his eyes.

"He doesn't have to love me.  But he does.  He doesn't have to call me daddy.. but he did.  That makes me feel so good." Sam then turns to Jessica and says, "I hope this is okay with you."

"Are you kidding?  Sammy, this makes me so happy!
You're his daddy!" Jessica giggles.

Sam nods his head and looks down as tears roll down his cheeks.

"Aw baby!  Come here." Jessica holds her arms out for him. "I love you so so much, and the fact that you love my kids as much as I do is incredible.  I feel so blessed."

Sam sniffles and Jessica pulls away to hold his face.
"Oh my gosh, you are so cute!"

Sam chuckles and wipes his cheek.
"Thanks.."

Jessica smiles and places two kisses on his cheeks before softly kissing his cheeks.
"I love you." She says.

"I love you too."

"Yeah?  Kiss me."

Sam smiles and kisses her lips.

"WAAAAHH!"

Jessica pulls away and giggles as she looks to the back seat.

"What do you want?" She asks.

"Boobies!" Sam chuckles.

"I think you're right. Okay, I'm comin', noisy!"

A few hours later.

"Come on, pretty girl. We're gonna pick up brother!" Jessica says getting Evangeline out of her car seat.

"Hey!  Where are your cute little sandals?
.. Here they are.  On the floor!  Why do you hate wearing shoes?  They look so cute on your little feeties!"

Jessica quickly slips her shoes back on and Evangeline starts crying.

"Jess, she doesn't like the shoes, babe." Sam chuckles.

"But I do!" Jessica pouts.
"Fine!  Don't wear them, Miss sassy pants!"

Sam chuckles and they walk into the daycare.

Walking up to Theodore's classroom, Sam opened the door and let Jessica walk in first.

"Aw Sam, look at him!  He's coloring!  He looks so smart!" Jessica giggles.

"He does!  Hey buddy." Sam smiles.

Theodore stays looking down.

"He's so focused!" Jessica chuckles.
"Teddy Bear!" She says softly as she walks closer to him.

"Mama?" Theodore looks up.
"MAMA!" He runs over.

Jessica kneels down and hugs her son with her free arm.

"Hi baby boy!  Did you have a good day?"

"DADDY!" Theodore shouts.
Jessica laughs and watches him jump up and down.
Sam picks him up and kisses his cheeks.
"Hi buddy!  How was school?"

"I-I-I-IIII dwawwww!"

"What did you draw?

"Mama!" Theodore smiles at Jessica.

"Aw how sweet!" Jessica smiles.

"Mama's fun to draw, huh? She's pretty, isn't she?"

"Ya." Theodore nods his head.

"Sammyyyy!" Jessica blushes.

Theodore turns to Sam and giggles before he gives him a hug. "M-Misssshhuuu."

"Oh I missed you too, Theo!  But I'm glad you had fun today."

"Ya.. go home?  Home?"

Jessica laughs. "Yes baby, we can go home."

Dinner.

"Okay kids, I want to go around the table, and I want you each to tell me one fun thing about the day."

"Nothing was fun. I hated the whooooole day. I quitting school tomowow." Julia says staring straight into space.

Jessica couldn't help but laugh.
"Oh calm down, little miss sunshine!"

"I hate EVERYTHING!"

"You're three, you don't even know what hate means."

"I know I hate school."

"Jesus Christ!" Jessica chuckles.
"Landon? How was your day, buddy?"

"So cool! My teacher is soooo pretty!"

"Ooh! Landon's got a crush!" Autumn giggles.

"Yes I do!" Landon smiles, his cute little dimples becoming more and more noticeable.

"He's not shy about it it! My boy!" Sam smiles.
"How was your day, Auttie?" He asks.

"Great! I like my teacher, he's really sweet!"

"Ooohhh! Auttie has a crush tooooo!" Landon teases.

"Actually, I don't!"

"Mhmmm! You're lying!" Landon smiles.

Autumn rolls her eyes and nods her head.

Sam chuckles then turns to Theodore.
"Theo had a fun day too, didn't you, buddy?" He takes his hand.

Theodore looks at Sam with an adorable little smile.
"DADA!"

"Dada? Well this is new!" Julia says.

"Did he just call you Dada?!" Autumn smiles.

"He did! He started calling me that when mom and I dropped him off. Isn't that sweet?"

"Yes! Awwww! Little Teddy Bear!"

"But you not daddy. You Sham. I wish you were my daddy, cause my daddy sucks."

"Juju!" Jessica places her hand on her forehead.

"He does." Julia shrugs.

"That doesn't matter. If he doesn't want to be apart of our lives, he does not matter. What does matter is that Sam is here. He stepped up and wants to be here for you guys."

"I do. You don't have to call me daddy, Jewels.. only do it when you're ready."

"Okay.. I think I ready."

"Really?" Sam chuckles.

"I think so!" Julia says with a cute look on her face.
"Let's twy.. Daddy!" She smiles.

"Aw!" Jessica melts.

"I love it!"

"Me too! Juju, can I tell you something?" Sam asks.

"That I beautiful?"

"Well yes, that too! But a few weeks back, you slipped and called me daddy. That made me feel so special."

"Yeah I know.. you just like a daddy! So that's why I called you daddy.. I didn't know I could so I no do it no more."

"You can call me whatever you want, Julia." Sam smiles.

"I gots lots of names for you! Sham, Shammy, Daddy! Papa!" She giggles.

"I love it my Juju girl."

"Yeah!" Julia smiles then giggles uncontrollably.
She was so happy.

"This is the most fun I had all day! More than stupid school!"

"No. We don't talk like that, young lady."

"Ugh! Daaaad! You being so na-noyingggg." Julia rolls her eyes before laughing once again.

"She is a wild child!" Jessica laughs and nods her head.
