After stopping at the store for the tea, Jessica and Sam pick Evangeline up from Sarah's.

"Thank you for watching our little handful, Sarah."

"Of course!  What did the doctor say?"

"Well.. pretty much that this little booty is not ready!"

"Aw, I'm sorry.."

"It's okay!  My Sammy told me about this tea I'm going to try!" Jessica smiles.

"A tea?  Does it work?"

"What I've read on the internet, Yes!" Sam says.

"Oh nice!"

"Yep!  So after we get back from picking the kids up from school, we're gonna try it."

"Cool!  You better have your baby sitters on standby in case it works."

"We will!  I hope it works!  I just want this little Shepard here!" Jessica rubs her belly.

"Oh shit!  I forgot!"

"What?"

"We need someone to drive us to the hospital!"

"Oh yeah!  How'd we forget to get a driver?" Sam makes a funny face.

"I don't know!"

"I can drive y'all."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, it's not a problem!"

"Thank you so much!  We owe you!"

"Those baby cuddles are all I need!" Sarah smiles.

That evening after dinner Jessica made her raspberry tea and started drinking it.

"Okay babes, showers and off to bed, okay?"

"Okay, mama!" Theodore smiles sweetly.

"What is that, momma?  It looks good!" Autumn points to Jessica's tea.

"It's pretty good!  It's raspberry tea, and it's supposed to induce labor!  So hopefully little man, or little lady will be here or on their way when you wake up in the morning!"

"I hope so!" Autumn gets excited.

"Me too!" Jessica smiles.

"Well good luck!" Autumn kisses her cheek, then her belly.

"Thanks, baby girl!  If it does work and daddy and I have to head to the hospital, your aunt will come over and take you all to school in the morning."

"Okay!  Sounds good!" She smiles.

1 hour later.

"Woah!  I wasn't expecting things to feel this intense so soon!"

"Do you want me to call Sarah and Ann?" Sam asks.

Jessica nods her head as she breathes deeply.

"Okay.  Do you need anything?"

"No, I'm fine.  Just call, I'm gonna go change."

"Okay, shout if you need me."

Jessica nods and walks into the bathroom.

Jessica quickly took a shower, then changed into a dress, and pulled her hair up.

Sam then let himself into the bathroom to check on her.

"How are you feeling, baby?"

"Like we're gonna have a baby soon!" She chuckles with exhaustion.

"I can't believe how quickly that tea worked!"

"I know!
  Sammy, I'm still scared.."

"Why, honey?"

"The baby's moving a lot and.. that just scares me.  I don't want them to hurt themselves." Jessica cries.

"Baby girl, don't think about that.  Simba is there watching over him or her.  He'll make sure they're okay, sweetheart." Sam wipes her tears.

Jessica sniffles and looks up to him.
"I love you, Sammy."

"I love you, Button."

"Button?  Sammy, you haven't called me Button since the accident!"

"I know.. it just kinda came out!" He chuckles.

"Maybe your memory is coming back!" Jessica smiles.

"Maybe so!"

Jessica smiles, then kisses his lips and cuddles into his chest.

"Little baba is kicking up a storm- Ooh!  What was that?" Sam looks down.

"My water broke!" Jessica laughs.

"It's The Teeeeaaa!  I knew it would work!"

"You're a lifesaver, Sammy!" Jessica smiles.

"I love you."

"I love you more."

Sam then holds her belly and places kisses all over it.

"Come on, honey.  Let's go have a baby!" Jessica takes his hands.

"Let's go have a babyyyy!" Sam shouts.

Just then Autumn runs in fully dressed.
"I'm coming with you!"

"Alright!  Well let's go!  This baby's in a hurry to meet us!" Sam says.

The drive to the hospital was intense for Jessica.  The pains were coming one right after another, and each time became stronger and longer.

"Oh Sam!  I'm not gonna make it!  This baby's coming!" Jessica says, laying her upper body on top of him.

"We're almost there, honey.  Just breathe.. innn.. and ouuut.. good girl!" Sam kisses her temple.

Minutes later the four of them arrive at the hospital.

Immediately after getting into a room, Sam helped Jessica change.

"They need to call the doctor now because this baby is like right there!"

"Let's get you into bed so the nurse can come check you." Sam says.

Autumn set her stuff in the corner, then walked over and took her mother's hand in hers.

"You've got this, momma.  You've done it before knowing Simba would be born an angel.
  You've done it just me and you, you can do it now with a healthy little baby, and two people here that love you more than anything in the world!"

"Aw!" Jessica's heart melts. "You are the most amazing little ever!  I love you, Autumn Rae."

"I love you too, momma!" She smiles and kisses her hand.  Autumn was always her voice of reason.  That little girl was so special.

Soon the nurse came to check on her, and Jessica knew this was definitely it.

"I can't wait for him!  This baby is coming out Now!" Jessica panics.

"Okay Jessica, you are fully dilated.  I need you to just breathe through the pain, your doctor is on his way."

"No!  No, I have to push!  I have to!" Jessica cries.

Sam takes her hands and looks into her eyes.
"Baby girl, breathe with me, okay?  We're just minutes away from meeting our little guy, or our ittle princess!  Everything will be okay so so soon!  You just need to focus on that and breathe, okay?"

Jessica breathes deeply and nods her head.
"Are you pushing?" Sam asks.

"A little bit!" Jessica strains.

"Jessica!  I could tell by your face!  You need to wait, babe!"

"I'm sorry, I can't help it!" She cries.

"Sammy, we don't even have a name for this little baby!"

"It's okay, we'll know his or her name when we see them." Sam smiles.

Jessica looked into his eyes and smiled.
In that moment she knew exactly what this baby's name should be.

Jessica puckered her lips and Sam kissed her.

"Okay, he's down the hall.  You can start pushing, Jessica." The nurse said.

With the help of Autumn and Sam, Jessica pulled her legs back and pushed as hard as she could.

"Good!  Wow!  Baby that amazing!  Deep breath and do that again!  The little Shepard will be here before we know it!"

Jessica took a deep breath and pushed even harder.

"Woah!  Mommy, I can see the head!  You're doing so well!  AHH!  The head is out!" Autumn laughs.

Jessica lays her head back and catches her breath.
"Oh wow!"

Just then the doctor walks in and says, "Wow!  Seeing you this morning, I never thought we'd see a baby this evening!" He chuckles.

Jessica gave him a look before taking a deep breath in and pushing once again.

"That's it, pretty girl!  One last pu-UUSH!" Sam jumps and quickly reaches forward to catch the baby.

"Oh my gosh!" Sam says with wide eyes, holding his brand new bundle of joy.

"Oh wow!  My baby!" Jessica smiles and reaches for her newborn.

"I saw!  I saw!" Autumn giggles.

"It's a boy!  Sammy, we have a boy!  We made a baby boy!" Jessica laughs.

"Oh wow.. I love you, baby.  I love you so so much!" Sam kisses her as tears roll down his cheeks.

"Mmm.. I love you more, Sammy."

"He's so cute!" Autumn laughs.

"He is!  Oh gosh, I can't believe how quickly he came!  You just shot out of me, handsome boy!" Jessica kisses his cheeks.

She then looks up to Sam who had tears rolling down his face.

"Sammy.."

"Yes, baby?"

"I know what I want to name him."

"What is it, Boo?"

"I want to name him after someone who I love so so much.  A man that has the biggest heart in the world.  A man that saved me so many times!  Sammy.. meet little Sammy." Jessica giggles.

"Oh Jess!  Really?"

"Yes." Jessica nods. "It's perfect."

"I love you."

"I love you too, Sammy."

Sam then smiles and kisses her lips.
He then cut the umbilical cord and they took the baby to get cleaned up.

"He's a big boy!" Sam smiles as he follows the nurse who held his son.

"He is!  Baby boy Shepard, born May fourth at 9:20 pm.  He weighs eight pounds, nine ounces!"

"Wow!  Good job, Jess!" Sam smiles to her.

"Thanks baby." Jessica giggles, her eyes filled with exhaustion.

Sam then touched the baby's tiny hand, and he grabbed onto his father's finger.

"Wow.. Hello, little Sammy.  I'm your daddy!
  Nice to meet you." Sam smiles and kisses his head.
