She sees him
That evening came and it wasn't any different than every other evening. The girls still needed tending to.
"I don't even have a real bed! I should have gone home with my dad."
"Oh Autumn, don't pout! You have a mattress." Jessica smiles.
"Why do we have to move?"
"Honey, you know why. Danny got a really good job offer.. it's better for us."
"But I'll miss my friends."
"We'll still visit. And they can come see us!"
"They won't want to do that!"
"Of course they will, baby."
"..I'll miss my daddy."
"I know but you'll see him Friday."
"It won't be the same.."
"Baby girl.."
Autumn then covered herself and turned the other way. "Honey.. please don't be upset."
"I'm just sleepy.."
Jessica kissed her temple and softly brushed her hair out of her face. "This will be good."
"We don't even have a house yet. We'll be back in an apartment."
"It's only temporary. In a few months we'll be in a house."
...
"I promise it'll be fine, honey."
"Okay." Autumn sighs.
After tucking her in she went back to the bedroom.
"She's sleeping!" Danny whispers and points to the bassinet in the corner.
Jessica smiles and quickly checks on the baby before tiptoeing to the bed.
Danny grabs her arm and roughly pulls her to the bed. Jessica quietly giggles as Danny climbs over her.
Danny kisses her lips then moves to her neck.
Jessica bites her bottom lip and lays her head to the side allowing him more access.
"How do you want it, Mrs. Huston?"
"Mrs. Huston! Ooh I love the way that sounds!" Jessica giggles.
"How do you want it?" He asks once again.
"Rough, daddy!"
Danny smiles and starts ripping her dress off.
"Ah!" Jessica squeals.
Danny quickly covers her mouth with his hand to keep her from waking the baby.
"Shhh! She's sleeping!" He whispers with a small chuckle escaping him.
"Oppsie! Sorry, I just got a little excited."
Danny chuckles and continues what he was doing.

The next morning.
Jessica walked to the nursery.
A nursery that was made for both Simba and Julia.
Julia slept with her parents since birth so beside nap time, this room remained empty.
Jessica walked around the room with tears in her eyes. She didn't want to leave this house.
She worked very hard for this house.
Unfortunately she didn't have a choice.
"Oh Simba.. mommy doesn't want to leave.
I know you're with me wherever I am.. but I feel like I'm leaving you. This is your room and I'm leaving it!"
Jessica wipes her tears and sniffles.
"But.. But I am leaving you.. your little body is here.. and I'm leaving! Simba, I've never even visited you.
I couldn't, it was too hard. But now I'll be in Wisconsin and you'll be.. you'll all alone!
I can't leave you."
Jessica then ran to find Danny.
"Danny! Danny!"
"Baby, what's wrong?"
"I can't do it, I can't leave him!"
"Who?"
"Simba! I can't leave him!" She cries.
"Honey, you're not leaving him. He's with us in our hearts forever, remember?"
"But his little body.. is buried here, Danny." Jessica says that last part in a whisper.
"That is just his shell. His soul is inside of us. Forever."
Even more tears fill Jessica's eyes.
"I need to see him, Danny. It's time."
"Okay. We'll go before we hit the road."
Jessica sniffles before leaving to grab her things.

While Danny put the baby in the car, Jessica and Autumn walked around the house one last time.
"It's been a great five years in this house, huh, Auttie?"
"Yep.."
"You were just three years old when we moved in. Do you remember that first day?"
A small smile appears on Autumn's face.
"Yeah.. yeah I do."

Jessica turned the key to her new home and opened the door with a big smile on her face.
"Well here it is! Our new home, Autumn! What do you think?"
"WOOOWWWW!" Little Autumn's eyes lit up.
Jessica laughs.
"You like it?"
"Mommy it SO BIG!"
"It's a lot bigger than the apartment, yes!" She chuckles. "Well go ahead and walk in, honey. This is your home. Make yourself comfortable."
"Mommy, we show my daddy our new home?" Autumn asks as her eyes travel the new space
"Of course!"
"Yay! He gonna like it, mommy!"
"I bet he will!"
"Yeah cause it so big and pwetty!"
"It is!" Jessica giggles.
"Does it have a kitchen with food?"
"Well we need to go shopping for some food, buuuut, we can order a pizza tonight! Sound good?"
"YEAAHH!"
"Awesome! I'll call now!"
"Okay, Okay!!" She jumps in place.
**
Jessica and Autumn sat on the living room floor, enjoying their pizza and talking about all the fun things they were going to do in their new home, including how Autumn wanted her room decorated.
Princess themed, of course!
"I think you and I are going to make a lot of great memories here, Autumn."
"I think so too, mommy." Autumn gave her mother a pizza sauce covered smile.

Jessica sighed and smiled at Autumn.
"We made a lot of fun memories here, momma.." Autumn pats Jessica on the back.
"We did, didn't we, baby?" Jessica gently pulls her into her side.
"Yeah.. I'll miss it but.. we'll make a lot of new fun memories at our new place." She smiles.
"We will!"
Autumn hugs Jessica as they stand exactly where they sat eating pizza five years before.
Just then they hear two car horn honks.
Jessica sighs.
"Let's go, kiddo.
Bye house." She looks at it one last time with a tearful soft smile.
"Thanks for the memories." Autumn says.
And with that they were gone.
Now one last stop before they head off. The cemetery.
Once they pulled up Jessica stared straight breathing deeply.
"You going?" Danny asks.
"Yeah.. I just need a minute."
"Okay."
Five minutes pass and Jessica was ready.
"Okay.. I'm ready. But I need to go alone.
At least at first."
"That's fine. Whatever you need."
Jessica slowly stepped out of the van and made her way to her son's gravesite.
Once she got there she sat down and tears began pouring. "Simba.. my baby boy. Honey, I'm so sorry it's taken over a year to visit. It's just so hard."
As she spoke Jessica gently caressed the stone, almost like she caressed her children's cheeks.
Jessica then went on and spoke about the family and then about the move.
"I'll be back to visit you often. I promise I will.
I love you Simba.. I will never stop loving you."
Just then Jessica heard Autumn's voice.
"Mommy! Julia's crying in her car seat!"
"You guys come over here." Jessica smiles softly and motions them to join her.
"Jessica, I think she's hungry." Danny shouts.
"Just bring here over and I'll feed her here."
Autumn hops out of the car while Danny grabs Julia.
Danny walks over and places her in Jessica's arms.
She fusses a bit then looks at the huge stone in front of her and smiles.
"Are you happy, pretty girl?" Jessica baby talks.
"Who do you see? Do you see brother?"
Julia kicks her legs and giggles uncontrollably.
"Oh my goodness, she's so happy now!" Jessica chuckles. She then holds her a bit tighter and speaks in a loud whisper, "She sees him!"
