30 minuets later.

Jessica cleaned up their plates as she cried non stop.

"No.  Stop it, Jessica.  Stop it!  You have to stay calm for the baby." Jessica sat everything down, placed her hand on her stomach and took a deep breath.

"But how could he say that?  It's a baby!  It's our baby." Jessica said, crying softly.

Just then the phone started ringing.  Jessica quickly ran to answer it.  She was hoping it was Danny.

"Hello?"

"Hey Jess!"

"Sam?  Is everything okay?"

"Yeah!  Everything's great!  I actually had to rush Megan to the hospital.  Her water broke and things are happening pretty fast."

"Oh!  Oh wow, well I'll go pick her up!"

"Alright, please be careful driving."

"I will.. I'm happy for you, Sam." Jessica smiled softly.

"Thank you, Jessie!"

Jessica changed into leggings and a sweatshirt before leaving.

When she arrived, Sam's parents were just getting there as well.

"Oh Jessie!  How are you?" Sam's mother said greeting her with a hug.

"I'm doing well.  How are you two?"

"Excited!"

"I bet!  A grandson.. happy times." Jessica says trying her best to hide her tears.

Luckily for her Sam was just bringing Autumn out.

"Mommy!  My baby brother is coming!  I'm gonna be a big sister!"

"Yes you are!" Jessica smiles.

She then looked up to Sam and asked, "How's Megan?"

"Things are getting pretty intense!"

"Oh goodness, well you better get back." Jessica smiles softly.

"Yeah!" He chuckles.

Sam hugs Autumn and kisses her cheek.
"I'll see you soon, big sis."

"Bye, daddy!"

Sam smiles then hugs Jessica and kisses the top of her head.

Jessica closed her eyes as he held her.  She wanted more than anything to completely break down in his arms.

Before losing it, she rubbed his back and smiled. "Go on, Sammy.  Go welcome your baby boy."

Sam smiles and leaves them.

The next morning.

Jessica was sick once again but, she knew that meant the baby was healthy, so she didn't mind.

She then went downstairs to make her and Autumn some breakfast.

"Mommy!  I'm up!  Is my baby brother here?!  Was he born yet?!"

Jessica smiled softly. "He's here, baby.  Megan had him at four this morning."

"YAAAAAY!  Oh my gosh, mommy!  I have a baby brother!"

"You do!" Jessica said, attempting to match her excitement.

"Can we please go see him?"

"As soon as we eat and get ready we can go."

"YAY!  Let's up hurry then!"

One hour later.

Jessica walked Autumn to Megan's room and knocked on the door.

Sam opened it and smiled.
"Come in you guys!"

"Oh I'll wait out here and give you guys your space."

"No, come in!  I want you to meet him."

"Okay.." Jessica smiles softly.

The moment Autumn saw her baby brother, she was in love.
Jessica looked over her shoulder and smiled.  He was a little Sam for sure.  He looked just like his father.

"He's Sam's twin, isn't he?" Megan smiled up to Jessica."

"He is!  Aww.. he's so cute."

"Can I hold him, please?" Autumn asks.

"Of course!  Here, sit beside me." Megan said.

Sam helped her up on the bed, then took the baby from Megan to hand him to her.

"Wow.. he's so little!  Mommy, look!" Autumn smiled up to her mother.

"He's precious." Jessica smiles softly.  Tears filling her eyes.

Landon let's out tiny little baby cries.  He was not enjoying being past around like a little doll.

Those sweet sounds reminded Jessica of her little blessing she would have in a few short months.

Jessica looked up and saw Sam just smiling at Megan with so much love.
She wondered why Danny would be so upset over a little baby they created together.
Maybe he needed time.  Maybe he reacted that way because he was in shock.  Maybe things would get better.  Jessica could only hope.

Jessica felt a lump in her throat.  She took a deep breath and said, "I'm going to step out for just a moment."

Sam looked at her and noticed her red watery eyes.  He decided to follow her out.

Jessica covered her mouth with one hand, holding in her sobs as she walked down the hall.

"Jess?  Jessica!" Sam shouted to get her attention.

Jessica panicked.  She didn't want him to see her that way.

"Jessica stop!  What's wrong?"

"Nothing, Sam!"

Sam sped up and grabbed her arm.

He looked her in the eyes and said, "You're crying."

"I'm fine!" Jessica said in tears.

"No you're not.  What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

Sam placed his hand on her shoulder and looked into her eyes. "What's wrong?  Talk to me."

Jessica's bottom lip quivered and she looked down.
"I'm pregnant."

"You're pregnant?!  Jessica, this is amazing!  I'm so happy for you!" Sam said giving her a big hug.

"Wait.." He looks her in the eyes.
"Why are you crying?  You're not happy about this?"

"No, I am..
Sam, you have a new baby, you don't want to hear my sob story right now.  I'm gonna go.. I'll have my mom come for Autumn."

"Jessica, you're my friend, and I'm listening." Sam said.  Jessica knew he was being sincere.

"What is making you so upset?" He asks once again.

Jessica looked at him and broke. "I told Danny about the baby last night and he.. he.."

"What did he do?"

"He doesn't want the baby.. he blamed me for this happening."

"I'll kill him." Sam said in a serious tone.

"No Sam.. Maybe he just needs time."

"Jess, are you serious?"

"He's young." Jessica shrugs.

"We were nineteen, Jessica."
"I know but.. Sam, I just need to go." Jessica says that last part in a whisper.

Sam didn't say a word.  Instead, he lifted his arms and pulled her in for a hug.

"You'll always have me.  No matter what we're going through.. no matter who we're with.. I'm here.  Always."

Jessica sobbed into his chest.  She was so lucky for the friendship she and Sam had.
