Jessica buckled Evangeline into her car seat, and then the three hit the road.

"He's not answering!" Jessica said dialing him again.

"Call his mom." Sam suggests.

"Yeah. Shit, I need someone to pick the other kids up."

"Want me to call my mom?"

"That's too many kids. I can call mine."

"Do you want to worry her about this right now?"

"Well she's gonna find out eventually! I have way too many kids for your poor mother. Let me just call her quickly so I can try and get ahold of Zoe."

"Alright."

After speaking with Dorothy, Jessica tried Zoe.

"Pick up, pick up.."

"Hello?"

"Zoe!"

"Jessica? Is everything alright, dear?"

"No. Zoe, where is Danny?"

"I haven't spoke to him today. Why? What's wrong?"

"He took Julia out of school, and tried taking Theo from his daycare. I have no idea where he has my baby."

"Did he ask you about maybe picking her up today?"

"No! And now he's not answering his phone. I just want my daughter! Him and his little whore have treated my kids like shit, Zoe! I don't want her over there!"

"Okay, okay, I'll see if I can get ahold of him. I'll call you back."

"Thank you.."

Jessica hung up her phone and sat back in her seat.
As she began to cry, Sam placed his hand on her thigh.

"It's okay. We'll find her and we'll make sure Danny gets exactly what he has coming to him."

"There's nothing I can do, Sam.."

"What do you mean?"

"He's her father. I can't call the police and tell them she was kidnapped. They'll think I'm crazy!
I should have just taken him to court for full custody right after the divorce was final. If I did then there would be something I could do. What are we supposed to do now? What if he takes off somewhere far away with her? With my baby?" Jessica says, her voice becoming high pitched and shaky.

"We're gonna find her tonight. Zoe's gonna help us out."

Jessica sighs and lays her head back.
"I hope so."

Julia's POV.

"Why did you take me? I don't want to be here with you. You no love me. You just hate my mommy!  That's why you did this!"

"I do love you, honey."

"You left us!" Julia shouts.

"Only because I loved Christine. I wanted to be with her. And then I had your brother Daniel."

"He is NOT my brother!"

"I had him and I had a new baby on the way. I didn't want to be away from them."

"Mommy was having a baby too."

"Not my baby."

"Yeah well Evie is lucky you're not her daddy. You're the meanest man in the whole world!  I have a new daddy!  A better daddy!"

In a quick movement Danny grabbed Julia by the arm and pulled her close to him.
"You listen to me.  That bastard is not your father!  I am your father!"

"NO!  I hate you!" Julia cries.
"I loved you!  I loved you so much and you hurt me!  PLEASE!  I want my mommy and my daddyyyyy!"

Danny's blood boils. "I will make sure you never see them again, now stop it right now!" Danny shouts before letting her go, shoving her to the side.

Julia stopped talking.  She then balled up on the floor and cried into her tiny hands.
Christine sat back and watched as she held hers and Danny's youngest son.

Sam and Jessica's POV.
10:00 pm.

Jessica's parents are watching all of the kids, including the baby.  For the past few hours Sam and Jessica have been driving around.  They went to Danny's house, his sister's house, even his best friend's house, and they were nowhere to be found.

"No one has heard from him, he won't answer me.  Where is my baby, Sam?!" Jessica cried.
"I need to find her, I can't sleep until I find her!  I know he isn't treating her right, and I.. I just want to hold her and tell her I'm sorry I let this happen."

"Jessie, this isn't your fault."

"I should have never been with Danny.. I was so stupid, Sam, I was so STUPID!"

"No you weren't.  If you would have never been with him, you wouldn't have your three beautiful children."

"I just wish they were all yours.  I should have never left you, Sammy.  I've been cursed ever since I met him.
He didn't want Simba and.. and God took him away!  Because of HIM.
  Danny cheated on me, he treated me like shit!  He hates Theo.. I know he does.  He's embarrassed because he's deaf.. Julia was the only one who liked him for a while.. now she hates him because she sees how much of a monster he is.  I know she hates it wherever he has her.. My poor baby girl."

Sam suddenly stops the car and takes a deep breath.

"Why did you stop?  We have to keep going!"

"Where are we going, Jess?  We've been all over Cloquet."

"What do you want me to do, Sam?  Just go home?"

"No!  I don't know what to do!  I hate that man with a burning passion, Jess!  I just don't know what to do.  Where else do we look?"

"Wisconsin."

"Wisconsin?"

"He still has that apartment we lived in.  I bet that's where he is."

"Okay." Sam starts the car. "Let's go."

10 minutes later.
*Phone rings*

"Hello?"

"Jessica?" A woman whispers.

"Yes!  Who is this?"

"Christine.  Dan.. Danny's girlfriend.."

"Oh my gosh!  Where is he?!  Where is my daughter?!"

"Listen.. I've seen a side of Danny I don't like.  I'm leaving him, and I'm sorry.. I'm sorry for all of the pain I've caused."

"Where is my child?"

"We're at Rodeway inn on Brookston."

"Oh my gosh!  Sam, get off!  We have to turn around and head to Brookston!  They're at the rodeway inn."

"Jessica, I-I don't know why I treated your kids so badly.  I'm a mother as well and I would hate for anyone to treat my boys the way I treated Theo and Julia."

"I don't have time to listen to this right now.  Thank you for letting me know where my girl is.  We're on our way."

"You're welcome.. we're room 108."

"Alright, got it!"

Jessica then hung up and sighed.

"I'm shocked she did that, but thank God she did."

"I know.."

"She said she's leaving Danny."

"Really?"

"Yeah.. you know, I say she's an idiot for being with him but... Hello!  I was with him.  There's something charming about that asshole of a man.. he can be such a sweet talker.. he's handsome-"

"Hey now!  Watch it, missy." Sam gives her a cute glare.

"Shut up." Jessica chuckles softly.

".... He makes you believe he's this amazing man.. and he's not.  Good for her she's getting away from him.  Even though I can't stand her.. I think it's great."

15 minutes later.

"They're in room 108.. you stay here, okay?"

"Hell no!"

"Sam."

"No." Sam looks her in the eyes.
"I'm going in there to get our girl.  I'm not letting you go alone."

Jessica sighs.
"Fine but stay back.  Don't say anything.  I don't want him telling you anything."

"I don't care, Jess!  There's nothing he can say that will hurt me."

Jessica looks at him before taking a deep breath and walking towards the motel.

Sam stood behind Jessica as she knocked on the door.
The two boys were sleeping, so Danny quickly opened the door.

"What the hell?  How did you know where we were?"

"Julia!" Jessica shouts.
Julia's was sitting in the corner sucking her thumb.  Still in her school uniform, her hair a mess, and her red eyes swollen.  The moment she saw Jessica she stood up and ran to her mother.

"MOMMY!  MOMMY!"

"Oh my baby!" Jessica dropped to her knees and held her daughter in her arms as she sobbed.

"Baby girl, are you okay?  Are you hurt?"

"I-I.. I didn't think I'd ever see you again!" Julia struggles to speak.

"Aw baby!  I'm here.  Mommy's here!"

"Mommy and Daddy!  Hi daddy!" Julia looks up to Sam.

"Hi baby girl." Sam gets down to her level and kisses her cheek.

"You are not her father!  She is my daughter.  I fucked that whore four years ago, not you.
Or did you?  Is she not mine?  Cause I thought Evangeline was mine for nine months, but it turned out to be yours."

"I wanna go home!" Julia cries.

"We're leaving, baby." Jessica stands up with Julia in her arms.
"Come on, Sam."

"I'm coming, just a second."

"Sam.  Come on, he isn't worth it."

"No, no, let him stay, Jess!" Danny smiles.
"What's up, big boy?" He lightly hits his arm.

"I don't want you coming anywhere near my family again.  Ever again.  Do you hear me?"

Danny crosses his arms and chuckles.
"Loud and clear, buddy."

"Sam.  Let's GO." Jessica says.

"You better get going.  Your whore awaits." Danny smiles softly.

Sam clenched his jaw as anger filled his body.  He then balled his hand into a fist and punched Danny as hard as he could.

Danny huffed and placed his hand on his cheek.  He then chuckled and pushed Sam out of the doorway.

"Danny, NO!" Jessica grabbed his arm.

Danny moved his arm away and began beating on Sam.
Christine then ran over and tried getting him off, but Danny pushed her away.

"Ahhh!  My daddy!  Mommy, Shammy!  HELP!  HELP!" Julia screams.

"DANNY, STOP IT!  STOP!" Jessica screamed on the top of her lungs.

"YOU STUPID SON OF A BITCH!  YOU WILL NOT STEAL MY FAMILY!" Danny said punching Sam repeatedly.  Each punch, Sam's head was hitting the cement floor beneath him.

"STOP!  YOU'RE GONNA KILL HIM!" Jessica screamed.

All of the commotion caused a scene.  About four men ran over and pulled Danny off of Sam, while someone else called the cops.

"Oh my gosh, Danny!  What did you do?!" Christine shouts.
"Let me stay back with her, you talk to him and make sure he doesn't fall asleep!" She says to Jessica.

"Thank you!  Juju, it's gonna be okay.  Just stay here, alright?"

"My daddy!" She sobs.

Jessica then ran over and held Sam's face.
"Sammy.. hang on, baby.. you're gonna be okay!"

Sam looked up, and it was as if he were looking past her.
"Sammy, look at me!  Listen to me, honey!  I love you!  Please Please hang on!  Don't leave me!  I need you!" Jessica spoke to him.  Her tears falling onto his bloody face.
