Sunday.

"Why do I have to leave?  This is my house!" Julia says making a face and crossing her arms.

"Because mommy and I are going to spend the evening together." Sam says.

"You just want us to leave so you can kiss!"

"Heh!  No, no." Jessica felt a little awkward.  She knows Sam doesn't see her in that way anymore, so this situation was uncomfortable.

"I'm teaching daddy how to cook."

"Daddy knows how to cook!  He used to cook better than you!"

"Thanks, Julia." Jessica says sarcastically.

"Mommy is an excellent cook, Juju!  That's why I'm asking her to teach me a few things.
That way I can help out a bit more."

"But why do I got to leave?"

"Julia, mom and dad need to have alone time so they can connect." Autumn says.

"Connect?  Like my legos?"

"No!" Jessica says.

"Julia, you're going to your grandparents, and daddy and I will see you after school tomorrow."

"Wow, that's SO far away!"

"Not really. You'll be okay, Ju."

"I guess!" Julia sighs.

Soon Sam and Jessica's parents came to pick the kids up.

"It's kinda crazy to see this house empty!" Sam says.

"Right? It's weird.."

There was then a silence.

"So! Wanna get started?" Sam asked.

"Sure! Go sit at the table and I'll bring some stuff over. I know you're hurting today."

"I'm okay. What are we making?"

"Well I thought we'd make something the kids ask for most, so-"

Sam gasps and says, "Chicken alfredo lasagna roll ups?"

"Yes!" Jessica laughs. "They love that stuff!"

"Awesome! I'm excited! I'm pretty tired of only cooking for Evangeline.
.. Mashing food isn't the most exciting food to prepare."

"Aw! Well I'm sure Evangeline loves that her daddy makes her food!" Jessica giggles.

"Maybe." Sam chuckles.

"She does!  Anyway! Let's get started!"

"I don't think I'm the best chopper of food."

Jessica laughs. "I think you're doing fine!"

"Yours is perfect, and mine looks like ass!"

"Ah! Sam!" Jessica laughs. "It looks good!"

"No, it's shit."

"Samuel stop it, I'm gonna pee!" Jessica cracks up.

"Do it, I dare ya!" Sam drops his knife and begins tickling Jessica.

"AH! Oh my gosh, NO! Sam! SAM!" She laughs.

Suddenly she and Sam make eye contact.
Breathing deeply, they just stare at each other for a few seconds.

Just then they hear the timer.
"Oh! I better get that!" Jessica quickly stands.

Sam watches her walk away, and smiles softly.

While dinner was in the oven, Sam pulled out a few photo albums, and he and Jessica sat on the couch going through them.

"Nice shades!"

"Thanks!" Jessica giggles.

"Where was this?" Sam asks.

"Oh gosh, I don't even remember!  Let me look on the back..
  Oh that's right!  This was at my uncle and aunt's anniversary party."

"Why do I look so angry?" Sam chuckled.

"One of my snooty cousins commented on us being so young with a baby, and you clapped back."

"Classic Sam." He says making Jessica laugh.

"You know, your giggle is such a great sound."

"My giggle?"

"Yeah!  It's cute." Sam chuckles.

"Aw.. thanks." Jessica says giving him a small smile.

Sam chuckles and looks down to the photo album.
"What was I doing here?!"

"Squeezing my boob through my jacket!" Jessica laughs.

"Aw.. this is such a sweet picture!" Jessica smiles down with tears in her eyes.

Sam stared at Jessica, and felt his heart beat faster.

"Wow!  Look at us here!  So young.. so in love.. so fucking skinny!  Who is that girl?!" Jessica shouts.

"Jess, you're pregnant!  Of course you're not gonna be the same size as you are in this picture." Sam says.

"I know, I'm just playing.  Wow.. this is such a beautiful picture.  I don't even remember ever seeing it before."

"Me neither." Sam jokes.

Jessica looks at Sam and laughs.
She then turns the page and Sam smiles.

"Wow!"

"I know, I look like a child!"

"No, I mean Wow.. you look beautiful."

Jessica turns to Sam and smiles.

"How far along were you here?"

"Seven months."

"Aw.. that's a pretty picture of you.. and Autumn." He chuckles.

Jessica giggles and turns the page once again.

Sam's breath was once again taken away.

"Oh my gosh.  This picture is incredible!"

"Thanks.  She's so tiny!  I can't believe how grown up she is now."

"I know!"

"Look at this!" Sam laughs.

"Reaching for a boobie!"

"Yep!  That's so cute!  Look at her face!  Aw, little princess." Sam pouts.

"I know.." Jessica pats his thigh, and turns the page.

"Oh.." Suddenly tears begin to roll down Jessica's cheeks.

"You okay?"

"Yeah.. it's just.." Jessica sniffles.
"I was so young and had no idea what my journey was going to be.
  This was before everything!  Before Autumn, before Danny.. before I lost my boy.... before I lost you."

"You didn't lose me, Jess." Sam places his hand on her back.

Jessica wipes her nose and says, "I know but sometimes it feels like it!"

"I'm sorry.."

"Don't apologize, it isn't your fault!  You did nothing wrong, Sammy.. This is our new normal, and.." Jessica takes a deep breath. "I just have to get used to it, that's all.  Life just isn't what it was and.. and that's it.  At least you're still here."

Sam pulls her close and kisses the top of her head.
After a few minutes in this position, Jessica  reaches over and picks up a picture.  She looks at it and smiles.

"This is his little hand."

Sam takes the picture and takes a close look at it.
"Those cute chubby fingers." He smiles.

Jessica chuckles and wipes her tears.
"He was a chunker for sure!  He was so so cute.. I miss him."

"He's still here, Jess."

"I know.  Thank you.."

A few minutes pass and the tears have turned into laughter.  Sam and Jessica are cracking up at old pictures of themselves.

Sam loved Jessica's laugh, so he kept cracking jokes just to hear it.
Suddenly, when Jessica reached over the coffee table, Sam kissed her shoulder.

Jessica looks at him and doesn't say a word.
By the look in Sam's eyes, Jessica knew what he wanted.

"Sam.."

Sam took her hand and kissed down her arm.
He then went back up and kissed her neck softly.

Jessica almost cried at his touch.  It had been so long since he kissed her so lovingly.

"Oh Sam." Jessica spoke softly.

"Do you want to do this?" He asks.

"Yes!  Yes, I want to!"

Sam then leaned in to kiss her lips as his hands traveled her body.
Sam was nervous.  To him, it felt like his first time touching Jessica in such an intimate way.

Jessica grabbed him and moaned softly.

"Oh Sammy.. Sammy, I've missed you so much!"

Sam then slides his hand up Jessica's shirt.  Feeling his warm touch against her back drove her crazy.
Jessica then pulled Sam's shirt off and tossed it to the side.  She then looked at him with fire in her eyes.

Sam paused a moment before taking her blouse off.
He then stared at her full breasts.

Jessica smiled and unhooked her bra.
She noticed Sam's eyes slightly widen, and she chuckled.

Jessica then reached forward, took his hands in hers, and slowly brought them to her breasts.

"Wow.." Sam said.

Jessica giggled.  She then threw herself forward.  She wrapped her arms around him, and kissed his lips.
As they kissed, Jessica unbuckled his pants, and reached in to take his member in her hand.

Sam took a sharp breath in as his eyes widened.

Jessica giggled and got down on the ground, on the side of the couch.

"Careful!" Sam said.

"I'm okay." Jessica smiles up to him before she slowly runs her tongue over his tip.

Moments pass, and Sam is close to his release.  That's when Jessica stopped.

"No, no, don't stop!" Sam breathed heavily.

Jessica smiled while sliding her leggings and underwear off.
"You can't have all the fun, mister!"

Sam smiles and sits back.
Jessica grabs onto the back of the couch as she straddles Sam.
Sam places his hands on her hips for support.

Jessica then reaches between her legs and takes Sam's member in her hand, guiding him into her entrance.

As he slid in, Jessica became emotional.
"Oh my gosh, I've missed you so much!"

She then grabs his face and kisses his lips, while slowly moving her hips up and down.

"I'm here." Sam mumbles, holding her body tightly.

Jessica then lifts her head and breathes deeply as she brings Sam's face to her breasts.

Once again Jessica moaned, only this time her moans grew louder.

He felt like he had been missing something he had no idea was even there.  It was strange.

"Heh.. yeah.. Wow!" Sam chuckles. "That was amazing."

"I know!" Jessica laughs cutely.

".. Jess?"

"Yeah?"

Sam stopped, and stared at her for a few seconds before saying, "I love you."

"You.. you do?" Jessica tears up.
"You love me?"

"I do.
  I love you!" He smiles.

Jessica smiles as a sob escapes her.
"Oh Sammy, I love you too!" Jessica wraps her arms around him as she cries.

"I feel like we're back in high school!" She laughs.
"I'm getting to have all of these brand new firsts with you."

Sam softly runs his fingertips up and down her back.
Just then they heard an alarm go off.

"DAMMIT!  THE FOOD!" Jessica quickly climbs off of him, and runs to the kitchen.

Sam couldn't help but watch and laugh as the smoke from the kitchen traveled to the living room.

"Want me to phone in Chinese?"

"Yeah, that would be good, thanks.." Jessica says in a low voice.

"No problem." Sam chuckles.
"Hey.."

Jessica coughs and answers, "Yes?"

"I love you!" He smiles.

Jessica smiles and shouts, "I LOVE YOU TOO, SAMMY!"

Sam chuckles and grabs his phone to order their food.
