June 27th.
14 weeks pregnant.

Danny watched Jessica as she looked in the mirror making sure her bump was concealed.

"Babe, when can we tell everyone?  You're already showing."

"I don't feel comfortable doing that yet. Plus this is mostly just left from Sim."

"I think we should at least tell Autumn."

"No! No Danny, I don't want to tell anyone yet."

"Why not? Jess, what happened with Simba is not going to happen with this baby."

"You don't know that!  I won't feel comfortable until this baby is in my arms, Daniel."

"We can't hide it forever."

"Will you just give me time? Jesus Christ!  I just lost a baby, I'm not ready to tell anyone yet!" Jessica says storming out of the room.

Danny soon left to work, leaving Jessica and Autumn alone.

"What are we doing today, Mommy?" Autumn asks.

"Well what do you want to do, Princess?"

"I want to go shopping!"

"My girl!" Jessica giggles.

"I need new big girl clothes!"

"Oh I see." Jessica nods.
"Well I think a little shopping would be fun!"

"Let's shop till we drop, mommy!"

"Sounds like a plan!" Jessica laughs.

Jessica found a few oversized blouses to hide her growing belly, and some new comfy shoes for work.
Autumn on the other hand was spoiled rotten.
Jessica felt that she's been through a lot lately and that she deserved a few treats.

"Oh man! I'm about ready for some lunch and a nap, mommy!" Autumn said.

"Lunch and a nap? Sounds good to me!" Jessica giggles.

Jessica took her to lunch then back home like she asked.
During lunch Sam text Jessica asking if the three of them wanted to join him, Megan and Landon for dinner.

Jessica agreed and figured she'd ask Danny later.

"Can I nap with you, mommy?"

"Sure, Princess."

Autumn cuddled into Jessica and held her belly.

"It feels like he's still in there, mommy. Isn't that weird?"

"Heh.. that is strange, baby."

"Very!"

Jessica rubbed Autumn's back and smiled down when she started softly rubbing her bump.

Jessica woke first and decided to call Danny.

"Hello?" He answers.

"Hey baby, Sam called."

"Yeah? Why?"

"He wanted know if we wanted to go to dinner tonight—"

"For what?"

"Just to catch up. I told him we would be there."

"Well you should've asked first. I'm working late."

"It's okay, Autumn and I will go. Do you want me to leave dinner for you?"

"Yeah, that would be nice. Thanks."

"Okay, what would you like?"

"A nice juicy steak!"

"Heh! How about spaghetti?"

"Well why'd you even ask?" Danny chuckles.

"Sorry! I'll have it ready for you. Be careful coming home."

"I will. Bye, babe."

"Bye. Love you!"

"Love you too."

The conversation ended and Jessica started cooking for Danny.

"Mmmm!  It smells good!  But, I thought we were going to eat with daddy." Autumn said walking over to Jessica.

"You and I are.  Danny has to work late."

"Aw!  Well maybe he can come next time!"

"Yeah baby, next time." Jessica smiles softly.

"Why don't you go upstairs and change into one of the new outfits mommy bought you?"

"Ooh okay!  I'll be right back!  I'm gonna wash up, change, then I'll come back down for you to do my hair.... Will you please do my hair?" Autumn smiles sweetly.

"Of course!"

"Thank you!"

Dinner.

"Daddy!"

"Hey Princess!"

"Hi Megan, hi Landon!"

"Hey sweetie!  Landon, say hi to your sister."

"Ahbabababaaaaa!"

Autumn giggles and kisses her little brother's head.

"Hello, Jessica!" Megan smiles.

"Hello! How are you guys?"

"Great!"

Sam smiles and hugs Jessica.
"How are you doing, Jess?"

Jessica takes a deep breath and smiles.
"I'm doing well! Really, I'm okay." She nods.

"Well good! You look good."

"Thanks." Jessica's smile grows.

"Landon, will you say hello to Jessie?
..Or can you say Button a little easier?"

Jessica laughs and taps Sam on his side.

"Bu! Bu! Bu!"

"Hey, that was close!" She smiles. "Good job, buddy!"

Their dinner went really well.
This is exactly what Jessica needed right now.

"Excuse us, you guys. I need to change someone's stinky bum." Megan says getting Landon out of his car seat.

Jessica smiles then looks at Landon and feels such a sadness.

"Can I go too?" Autumn asks.

"If you want!" Megan chuckles.

"Okay! I'll be back, guys." She tells her parents.

"Have fun!" Jessica giggles.

Sam and Jessica are now sitting at the table alone.

"To bad Danny was working late. Maybe next time!"

"Yeah, maybe so!" She smiles.

Sam smiles back and says, "You're glowing, Jessie."

"Aw Sam!"

"..Can I ask you something?"

"Sure!"

"I've been observing you this entire meal."

"That's.. that's kinda weird, Sam." Jessica laughs.

"Heh! Sorry!"

"What was your question?" She chuckles.

"Are you pregnant?"

Jessica smiles. "What made you ask me that?"

"I know you better than I know anyone else. You're always beautiful but.. when you're pregnant.. Wow!"

"Sam!"

"It's okay, we used to date. We have a kid together, I can say this!"

Jessica laughs.

"Are you?" Sam asks.

"Don't tell anyone!" She smiles.

"Oh Jess! Are you really?!"

"Mhm!" She nods. "I'm fourteen weeks."

"Oh my gosh.." Sam looks at her with tears in his eyes.

"Don't cry!" Jessica giggles.

Sam takes her hand and says, "I am so happy for you. You deserve this, Jess. All of you do."

"Aw Sam! Thank you so much."

Sam smiles and gives her a tight hug.

"A little baby! Auttie is gonna have THREE siblings! How crazy is that?!"

"Aw.." Jessica looks at him with a pout.
And that's when tears started to pour.

"Oh no, don't cry!" Sam says.

"I'm sorry! It's just hearing you say three.. it got to me. Thank you for counting Simba." Jessica looks at him in tears.

"Of course! He will always be her brother!"

"He will!
..This baby wasn't planned but.. I feel he sent him or her to us."

"I know he did, Jess."

Jessica smiles softly and wipes her cheeks.

"Autumn doesn't know.
I'm so scared to tell her, or anyone for that matter! There is no safe point of the pregnancy for me. I lost Sim two weeks before his die date.
It was a completely healthy pregnancy. He moved so so much! Unfortunately that's.. that's what ultimately made me lose him in the end.
There's no putting my mind at ease. I won't relax until I give birth a healthy baby. All I want is to hear him or her screaming and crying on the top of their lungs." Jessica wipes her tears.

"You will, Jessica. I can't even imagine how you feel right now.. but please please try to stay as relaxed as possible. I don't want you getting sick."

"I know.. I'm gonna try." Jessica says with the smallest smile. "I promise."
