A few days later.

"Sishy.."

"What Juju?"

"Where my dada at?  I mish him.. mama no tell me."

Autumn looked at her little sister.  There was such a sadness in her sweet little eyes.

"Sweet girl.. your daddy.. uhm.. honey, I don't know.  Let's go find mommy and speak to her."

"Sishy, she no tell me!" Julia says on the verge of tears.

"Oh.. well let me talk to her and I'll let you know what she says, okay?"

"Kayyyy." Julia rubs her tear filled eyes.

"Oh sweetie, come here!" Autumn holds her arms out and hugs her.

"Juju, you know I love you?"

"Ya and I lub you too, sishy!"

Autumn hugs her and squeezes her a bit tighter.

"Well mommy loves you, and so does Theo, and Simba!  Remember, he sent you to us?"

"Ya!  I happy he sent me here!  I lub you guysh!"

"Juju, We love YOU!  So does Landon and so Sam!"

"I lub them too!  Sham is my fwiend and Landon is like my bwuder!"

Autumn smiles and moves her curls out of her face.

"Does my daddy lub me?"

"... He loves you, Juju."

Julia pouts and rubs her eye.
"Kay.. we gonna go home?" She slightly lifts her shoulders.

"I don't know, Ju."

"I miss my woom."

"I know.. but let's look on the brought side!" Autumn smiles.

"It's almost your birthday!"

"YEAH!  I gonna be tree!"

"You ARE!  How exciting!"

"Yeah!" Julia smiles and stomps her feet.

Autumn giggles and kisses her cheek.

"I give sishy kisses!" Julia puckers and wraps her arms around the back of her neck.

"Aw thank you, beautiful!"

After leaving her sister to play with Theodore, Autumn left to find Jessica.

"Mommy?" Jessica heard Autumn's tearful voice.

"Baby, what's wrong?"

"I feel bad for Julia."

"Why?"

"Well I feel bad for everyone in this situation, but Juju.. she misses Danny so much!  She asked me where he was, if he loved her, and if we were going back home.  Momma, I can't take this!  How could Danny leave his babies?"

With tear filled eyes, Jessica nods her head and says, "I don't know.. I.. I really don't know.  I don't know what to tell her, Autumn.  How do I tell her that he wants nothing to do with her?  With his own daughter!"

A sob escapes Autumn and Jessica continues.

"I don't know what to do.. do I call him?"

"Maybe you can call Mr. and Mrs. Huston.
Maybe they don't know he left.  Maybe they can talk some sense into him."

"Maybe.. I don't know." Jessica shakes her head.

"I just feel bad for her.  I wish he would at least call the babies."

"Me too.."

Just about an hour after speaking with Autumn, Jessica was downstairs doing crafts with the kids.  That's when she received a phone call.

"Oh!"

"Who is it?" Autumn asks.

"Zoe."

"His mom?" Autumn whispers.

Jessica nods.
"I'll be right back, loves! Be good for sissy."

"We will, Mama!" Julia says gliding her glue stick along her purple construction paper.

"Hello?"

"Jessica! I am so sorry. I just found out about what happened."

"Oh.. how did you find out?"

"Angelica. Turns out she works with Christine brother and-"

"Christine? Who's Christine?"

"The other women."

"What?"

"Oh Jessica! You didn't know!"

Jessica suddenly breaks down in tears.

"Sweetie, I am so so sorry! I thought you knew!"

"No! He just left and said he didn't want anything to do with me or the kids! I didn't know he had someone else!"

Zoe then became quiet.
"Honey.. you need to speak with Danny."

"I-I can't." Jessica nods. "I can't talk to him now."

"No. You need to speak with him immediately. You deserve the truth."

"What is it? Just tell me, Zoe!"

"I can't. It's not my place. Please call him."

Jessica let out a sob as she held her hand over her belly.

"Jessica, know that we are here for you and those babies! Autumn included, you know she's everything to us!"

"Thank you.  I appreciate that, Zoe."

"Take care of yourself, okay? Remember, you have a little baby to protect in there. No man is worth losing your child. You understand? No Man!"

Jessica nods as she gathers the strength to speak.
"I understand. Thank you for calling."

"Of course. Give our love to the kids."

"I will.."

Jessica placed her phone down and rubbed her belly to soothe her now agitated baby.

"It's okay, love. Calm down.. it's okay.."

Jessica spoke with Sam and told him everything Danny's mother told her.
He then offered to sit with the kids while Jessica called Danny.

Jessica sat on the porch for a few minutes before she actually dialed his number. After sending her to voicemail three times, Danny finally answered.

"What do you want?"

"Well hello to you too, Danny."

"What are you calling for?"

"I spoke to your mother."

"Okay?"

"She told me I should call you."

"Why?"

"She said I deserve to know the truth.
So.. who is Christine?"

Danny sighs. "Jess-"

"Who is she, Danny?"

".. She's.. Jessica, it's none of your business."

"No. It is! You're my husband. I have a right to know."

"Jessica, I want a divorce. Now, I've looked into it and it's illegal to divorce a pregnant woman, but as soon as you have that baby, I want out. I met someone a while ago. She makes me happy."

"I thought I made you happy." Jessica says as tears just fill her eyes.

"No.. In the beginning, yes. But Jessica, I never wanted any of this. When you told me you were pregnant with Simba, I was upset. Not because I didn't want kids. But because I couldn't picture myself being with you for the rest of my life."

Jessica stayed strong, but each word crushed her more and more.

"Christine and I are getting married... and Jessica.. we have a child together."

"What?" Jessica said in a hurtful voice. Her voice was almost a whisper.

"I have a son named Daniel.. he's almost two."

"What?! DANNY!" Jessica was shocked.

"I didn't mean for it to happen, but it did.. and he is the most perfect little boy."

"I hate you!"

"I was going to tell you after Thanksgiving.. but just a day before Christine had told me she was pregnant again.. I didn't want to wait. I didn't want her to be with Daniel all alone."

"So instead you left your pregnant WIFE and your children?"

"I told you, Christine makes me happy. You don't, Jessica."

"Fuck me! I don't care about making you happy! What about your kids?! Julia has cried over your sorry ass! She misses her daddy!"

"I feel bad for Ju.. she's my little sunshine, I'll admit that. I honestly don't feel a strong connection with Theo. I'm just being honest."

"What the fuck? You are mental! You seriously need help, Daniel! I can't believe I ever loved you! Go to hell!" Jessica hung up, threw her phone on the seat beside her, and broke down in tears.

Sam heard her crying, and excused himself so he could be with her.

"Jess? Jess, what happened? Breathe, sweetie."

"He-he.." Jessica couldn't catch her breath to speak.

"It's okay, calm down."

"It's NOT OKAY! He cheated on me our whole marriage! He has a son, Sam!"

"What?!" Sam's eyes went.

"She's pregnant again! What if-what if she gave him something and he gave it to me and my baby?!"

"Oh gosh.. Jess. I'm so sorry."

"I hate him, Sam! I hate him!"

Sam just held her in his arms.
"Jessie, you have to stay calm for the baby. Please, calm down and breathe."

"I know, I just can't help it! His kids! Sam, you're a father.. could you ever walk out on your kids?" Jessica clung from his shirt as she looked at him completely broken.

"Never! He isn't a real man, Jess. It's only a matter of time before he does the same thing to that other woman."

"Why did I ever leave you? You never hurt me this bad.. I was so stupid to fall for him, Sam!"

"Hey, Hey.. you're not stupid.. and I'm here now. I'm here and I won't leave you. I'm going to help you, Jessie. I love these kids like my own. I want to help you for as long as you'll allow me."

Jessica wraps her arms around Sam's neck cries even more. "Thank you, Sam. I don't know what I'd do without you. Thank you so so much."
