This is the day of the New Years party and I'm more than excited.

I woke up and turned around to see Luke fast asleep still so I just got up, put some fluffy socks on and made my way downstairs. My mam was sitting at the kitchen table eating cereal while watching a morning programme. I unlocked my phone and went onto Twitter to only see more tweets from Gypsy. She was tweeting absolute bullshit about me and Jai. I can't fucking stand her. I'm not going to tell Jai about these tweets cause I dont want him thinking that I'm just being a bitch to her or anything. She's a good friend of his and I don't mind that, she just better not come onto him or she'll have another thing coming for her. I ignored her tweets and locked my phone.

I made myself and Luke some coffee and I toasted a few slices of bread and grabbed two bananas. I brought them upstairs to my room and placed them on my locker quietly. I climbed over to his side of the bed and gently nudged him. He opened his eyes and yawned.

"I made you breakfast. In around an hour or so do you want to come shopping with me? I need to get these pair of shoes which I'm wearing tonight."

"Yeah okay. How fancy or not fancy do I need to dress?"

"Wear something as if you were going to a club. That kind of thing. I'm so excited for tonight! She's going to be so happy!"

"I hope so, it should be a great night I can't wait to see my girl."

Luke doesn't usually talk like this so he went slightly red in the cheeks and was trying his best to stop his huge smile growing on his face of the thought of her.

"I've missed her so much."

"Damn she misses you too! She always talks about you to me and the others. She adores you."

Luke looked as if he was going to scream from happiness.

"Oh my god I'm so fucking hyped for tonight!"

After we finished eating our breakfast we both got changed into casual clothes and went to catch the bus.

We walked into the shopping centre and we headed to the shoe shop called primadonna. As I was trying the beautiful shoes on, Luke was in a trance staring at a black pair of timberlands for men. In the end he ended up buying them and I bought my shoes. That's me sorted for tonight. We decided to go to Jack n Jones, Diesel, River Island, Penny's, Lifestyle and Next.

We also got some food up there in Nandos, my most favourite restaurant of all time and went to Starbucks.
After that we walked back to the bus stop after five hours of being up here. We had bags, bags and more bags.

Luke bought a light blue shirt for tonight along with greyish coloured jeans. He bought some football shorts and a beanie too.

I bought my gorgeous shoes which had to be flat since I just simply can't walk in heels, two snap backs, some beauty blenders and a new lipstick I'd wear tonight.

The whole way home Luke and I were texting on our phones.

We got home and my mum opened the door to us and told us to sit have dinner with them at the table. I just agreed even though we just ate like two hours ago because it looks as if she put a lot of effort into making the dinner.

My mam and brother were there meanwhile my dad was at work from an emergency call in he got. My mum as any possible question that came to her head like she usually does and it's quite funny at times how random she can get. She was talking to us about the party, what time it started at, how much people would be there, how long will it be on for, where it was on and much much more.
I told her the time the party started at which is seven o clock, I told her that there would only be around twenty people (when I well knew there would be a hundred and more people there), I told her to just go to bed at the normal time and not stay awake for me as I would be home shortly after she goes asleep and there's no point of staying up ( I honestly said that so she wouldn't be awake to give me a lecture at three o clock or later in the morning) and I also said that it was at my friend from my classes house who I knew very well (Again, a lie. Ive heard it is actually someone from 6th year (A.N- Year 12 as said in other countries) and I know the address but not a clue who's house it is.)

Luke kept glancing over at me from the opposite side of the table, trying to hide his smile, knowing that I just lied about mostly everything. Luke told me that he will protect me if anyone try's to hurt or come over to me. Anyone and any age is invited exept parents.

After the food was eaten, we made our way upstairs carrying the shitload of  shopping bags with us and brought them to my room. Luke hopped into the shower first as he knew I would take the longest. After I got everything I would need out, Luke unlocked the bathroom door and came back into my room from the shower. After I finished showering and shaving I got out and dried myself quickly, making a start on my hair.
I dried my hair and straightened it, making it look nice and long, nearly touching my ass. Luke finished shaving his face and then he decided to straighten his hair in parts where his curls were out of control. I put my make up on, making sure not to cake it as number one, I didn't want to look like a slapper (A.N- I think thats Irish slang but idk. 'slapper' means a slut or whore or fake and stuff ya get what I mean.), and number two, I knew it would be warm in the house so it would look awful as it would just roll down my face looking all ugly, adding to my ugliness which I don't need right now.
I went for a gold smoky eye and applied liquid eyeliner. I sponged light foundation onto my face and put the wine lipstick I bought earlier onto my lips. I was pretty proud of myself for how well it turned out to be honest. It is now seven thirty which is okay as I just needed to put on my outfit. I put on my one-shouldered black dress and done the laces up on my wedged oxfords. Luke just finished getting dressed and we were ready to go. I looked in the mirror and I smiled. I actually looked really good. It's a part of who I am. I looked at the piece of jewellery around my neck. The necklaces which Jai gave me. My smile instantly dissapeared at the thought of him not being here. I tried to forget about it and turned to Luke.

"Are you ready to go? I'll show you to the party first so Weri doesn't see you yeah? By the way, you look really good!"

"Yup I'm ready, and thankyou, you look hot Amy!"

"Awww thankyou Lukey!" Luke laughed at what i now call him.

We walked down the stairs over to my front door.

"Mum, I'm going now" I called out to wherever she is in the house. She peeked her head out of the kitchen door.

"Okay, have a good time and come home together as it will be dark."
"Yeah see ya bye" I closed the door and opened my gate.

Luke laughed. "You remember I'm staying with Weronika the night yeah? We'll meet in the morning after we make our separate ways home."

"Yeah I remember, my mum would just get worried if I said I was walking home by myself."
