(girls' dorm, Jaeyeon POV)

It was already 8 pm, which means bed time. I'm gonna need all the rest I can get especially after the party the trainees threw for me and Minjae. After heading to the dorm, I notice a card on my bedside table with the logo for "Project JYP," meaning it's a letter from JYP himself.

Seeing where it was located, I'm guessing the letter was for me. I grab the letter and began reading:

"Dear Jaeyeon,
I am proud of you and your twin brother for being asked to audition for the upcoming drama, Dance Craze. I would also like to wish you and Minjae happy birthday as well. Throughout the rest of Project JYP, you and Minjae are competing for a spot as the best twin for my company. The winner will be announce on the day I assign your groups' positions for debut, which will be two weeks after the big finale. Your group's next assignment is a runway challenge. You guys are going to pick four outfits for four decades of your choice, and one member will be chosen as the winner from each group. And you will compete against the boys in this competition too. Jaeyeon and Minjae. May the best twin win.
From, JYP."

"So a fashion competition, eh?" Jewel says, "This will be right up my alley." "Me and Minjae competing against each other for best twin? I'm not sure about this?" I say. Chae-Lee says, "Don't sweat it Jaeyeon. JYP is just doing this for publicity, and also because you and Minjae are the most famous trainees in the industry."

I say while putting the letter away, "But Minjae and I are a team. I can't compete against my own younger twin brother." "Who knows," Chae-Lee says to Jaeyeon. Jewel says, "Maybe you and Minjae will have a family friendly competition for the spot as best twin."

"I guess so," I say, getting in bed, "well, see you in the morning." "Happy birthday Jaeyeon," Jewel and Chae-Lee sag to me. I say, "Thank you," and turn in for the night. I don't want this competition between me and Minjae to get the best of us. We are a team, and we'll always be that way no matter what.

(the next day, Minjae POV)

It was already after school hours, which means it's time for Jaeyeon and I to go to the school's dance room to audition for Dance Craze. We saw that Bogum Seonbae was one of the judges, as well as Mrs. Oh, JYP, and Suzy. Jaeyeon and I stand in front of the table and introduced ourselves to them.

"Before you do the audition, we need to ask some questions," Suzy says. Jaeyeon says, "Okay." JYP asks us, "When and why did you two start dancing?" "We started dancing when we were two years old," I told them, "Eomma enrolled us at the studio we usually dance at. As we got older, we acknowledged our Appa's talent for dancing, so we stayed at the studio and we developed a love for dancing. So since then, Appa has been our role model."

"Aside from Love By A Mile, what are your other experiences in acting?" Bogum Seonbae asks. Jaeyeon answers, "We also did some school plays, and we played as extra dancers in the movie Dance Evolution. We also had a couple of speaking lines in some other dramas too."

"One more question," Mrs. Oh says to us, "How do you think your closeness as twins will reflect on the roles you're auditioning for." "Since we're twins, we've had a close bond since birth," Minjae says, "and even though we like some of the same things, we're different, and not just because we're fraternal twins."

"I'm the twin that has a lot of confidence, and Minjae does have confidence, but he tends to be the shyer twin," Jaeyeon says, "I believe us having somewhat different personalities will help us portray our characters perfectly." After writing down the notes, Suzy says, "Alright show us what you can do."

We began to act out the lines we practiced together. After that, we began to do the dance we were asked to do for the audition. Once we were finished, JYP says, "Thank you for your time. I'll let you know the results tomorrow before we film Project JYP. You are dismissed." Jaeyeon and I bowed to them, and the proceeded to the exit.

(Jaeyeon POV)

We were currently getting dressed for our next competition in Project JYP, which is a fashion competition between the trainees. I still can't believe JYP is making me compete against my twin brother in a popularity contest. I look out at the stage and see the audience. Chae-Lee and Mihyung walk up to me pretty soon.

"JYP needs us to the stage right now," Mihyung says. Chae-Lee explains, "We're going to be assigned who we're walking with for the show." "Really?" I asked. They nod as we went to the stage where JYP is. I see Minjae talking to JYP and I went over there.

"I'm happy you made it, Jaeyeon," JYP says, "I wanted to tell you and Minjae this together before we air, but you two are going to be the lead characters in Dance Craze." "Are you for real?" Minjae and I ask together. JYP nods. This was amazing. We finally got lead roles in a real life drama! We hugged each other and thanked JYP for the news.

Soon, JYP goes to the stage and starts the show off. He says, "Welcome, Republic of Korea, to yet another edition of Project JYP, where you get to see how our fabulous trainees are doing as they work their way to the top. With Korea having some of the most stylish, yet good-looking, fashion icons, we've decided to have our trainee up their game with a runway competition. Who will win, the boys or the girls?!"

As the crowd cheers, we all started strutting on the runway, then we pose for the audience, and go to change into the next outfit. I was on my last outfit, which was for the 80's. We all gather on stage before the audience and judges. JYP stands in between the boy and girl groups with his microphone in his hand.

"Those were some spectacular outfits, weren't they?" JYP asks the audience, and they cheer, "Before we announce the winners, I have some news. Our trainees will be going to Jeju Island for their next competition, Jewel and Adam have been asked to model for Louis Vuitton and Tommy Hilfiger in two months, Eunhyuk will be a contestant on Show Me The Money in two months as well, and Jaeyeon and Minjae are going to be playing the lead characters in the new MBC drama Dance Craze."

The crowd goes wild when they hear of our updates. JYP pulls out the card, saying, "The individual winners from each group are . . . Jewel and Adam!" They both go over to stand beside JYP as the crowd cheers for them, and JYP says, "I wouldn't have expected less from these two talented models. Both groups are fantastic, but one really stood out, and that group is . . . the girls!"

We were jumping and squeling and hugging each other, happy that we won the fashion contest. The boys were congratulating us as JYP says, "It's getting neck and neck now. With the groups tied, we will continue our journey to the top of the charts and show that they have what it takes to be the next big thing. (dorm, Eunhyuk POV)

It was late at night, but I felt hungry, so I grabbed my wallet and snuck out of the room so I don't wake up Minjae or Jinseok and go to the snack room. I went to a nearby elevator, and went to the main floor. Upon exiting the elevator, I look through my wallet to see if I have enough money to buy a bag of chips and a drink.

I enter the room to find Jaeyeon buying a snack and drink as well. "Jaeyeon?" I asked, "Why are you up?" "I got hungry, so I thought I could get a little midnight snack, and I assume you're doing the same thing?" she asks. Smiling, I said, "Yeah. Since we're already here, do you want to sit on the couch and eat our snacks?" "Sure," Jaeyeon says.

We we're eating and talking for quite some time. I noticed that Jaeyeon is blushing and is a bit stiff. Not wanting to make things awkward, I break the small silence, saying, "You and your group did great out there." "You really think so?" Jaeyeon asks, "I think you guys did fantastic. Especially you Eunhyuk Oppa."

"I'm not that great, after all, Adam is the one who won," I said, feeling happy to know she thought I did a great job. Jaeyeon says, "Maybe so, but I really love your outfit choices and style. Not to mention the way you walk." "Really, I'm flattered," I say, "If we're being honest here, you're the best in my opinion, even though Jewel won from your group. I think your modeling is as great as your dancing."

Jaeyeon blushes hard and asks, "You think so Eunhyuk Oppa? Thank you so much for that. You don't have to compliment me over something as silly as that." "Maybe I wanted to," I said, with a small blush, "I was actually being honest. You are talented in everything you do. I think you're going to be fantastic when you make debut."

"Same goes for you Oppa," she says, "we should go back to bed. JYP would be mad at us for staying up so late." "You're right. It was great to spend time with you tonight," I happily said, hugging her and taking her to her room.

I go to the boys' part of the dorm and go to my room so I can go to bed. Why can't I stop thinking about her? They way she smiles, laughs, sings, and dances. They way she acted towards me earlier, could Jaeyeon really like me? Would she ever want to be with someone like me? I go to sleep as I still keep thinking about Jaeyeon.
