Y/N'S (POV)

It was another chilly morning in the Safe Haven.
I wake up to find Jayden and the kids not in the hut.. I then decide to get dressed in my long sleeve blue shirt, jeans and short brown boots.

Then deciding I want to go on a walk in the woods and see what I can discover.. I head towards the woods..

It only takes me two hours walking the trail until I find it..

A cliff leading to the flower field..

I think it would be nice to get flowers and make bracelets for Logan and Laura..

But there's NO way to safely get down to the flower field from the cliff..

I go to take a step and  turn around deciding there's NO Safe way to get to the Flowers I'm about to turn back and head back to the beach..

Then SUDDENLY it HAPPENS..

I feel myself falling then crashing against the rocks followed by DARKNESS..

"Not again NO one knows I'm out here.. ALONE."  I think to myself.

"Who will find me? Who will Save Me?"
I think completely scared out of my mind..

                        Colter's (POV)

I'm just walking through the woods of the Safe Haven when I get to a cliff side and notice something shocking..

A girl?

I quickly take my black leather jacket off and climb down the cliff side I've gotten in worse situations..

As I carefully climb down to the girl I  try not to have anymore rocks fall as I get her on my back and carefully carry her back up the cliff..

Once we were both  away from the cliff I crawl over on my hands and knees to the girl..

I noticed she's passed out.. As I look closer I see her head has an injury.. I quickly pull out my knife and cut the bandage I have with me then I carefully wrap it around the girls head..

Then I carefully pick up the girl and carry her back to the Safe Haven.

                     A few hours later:

                    Thomas's (POV)

It's been a few hours since (Y/N) left for her walk in the woods..

Both Jayden and I haven't seen her for a few hours and the twins are getting worried..

I get up from the log I'm sitting on Jayden and the twins notice my sudden action..

"Thomas? Where are you going?" Jayden asks.

Before I can answer the twins ask the same thing..

"Uncle Thomas.. Are you going to find Mommy?" I get down to their level and give them a smile.

"I promise both of you, I won't let anything happen to your Mommy.. after all she's my little sister.. Remember?" I tell them.

Laura looks at me and her words make my heart jump.. "You Protect Mommy Like Logan Protects Me?"

"Yeah and I always will. I promise!" I tell her.

I get ready to head toward the woods to look for (Y/N).

But I'm stopped in my tracks..

Seeing a boy a few years older than myself and he's caring something NO he's caring someone..

It hits me.. (Y/N)!

I take off running and get to the boy who has (Y/N) in his arms..

When I see the boy who has saved my little sister I feel like I'm seeing a Ghost..

He doesn't say anything handing 
(Y/N) off to me I look down at my sister and see her head is wrapped like she injured it somehow..

The boy then looks at me telling me that (Y/N) hit her head on the cliff side as she lost her footing when she fell.

I turn around handing (Y/N) to Jayden and telling him all that happened then I watch as he takes off toward the medjack hut with my sister in his arms.

Knowing she's getting treated for her head injury. I turn around to the boy who saved her..

"Colter? What are you doing here?" I ask.

The boy smiles and responses..

"I came to see some old friends." He says.

I'm standing there confused..

"What do you mean by Old friends?" I ask Colter.

He laughs and responds "I mean You and (Y/N). Come on Shank have you forgotten the fun we would have as little kids?"

I figure it couldn't hurt to hear what Colter has to say.. so we walk over to a log and sit down then he starts talking.

"Thomas the last time I saw you both was the day you asked me to look out for (Y/N). Of course hours later Wicked came and took you away while I was hiding  in a safe place with (Y/N)." He tells me.

I look over at him and he continues..

"You should've seen (Y/N) she was fighting against me to get to you. She even bit me." He laughs showing me the scar left on his arm.

I look at him. "Ouch I'm sorry she did that to you."

"It's ok T. I know she didn't mean it. She was just trying to get to her Big Brother." Colter says.

We sit on the log for a few more hours talking about the past.. until I see Hope walking down the shoreline..

I'm up on my feet before she makes it to where I am..

"How is she?" I ask.

"Thomas your sister is lucky she hit her head and just barely damaged her Shunt.. but she's still going to need rest. So I'm keeping her in the medjack overnight and a little bit the next day for observation to make sure there's No brain damage." Hope tells me.

I take off toward the medjack hut where (Y/N) is resting.. but just before I leave Colter yells after me.. "Hey Thomas let (Y/N) know that I'll come see her as soon as I can."

"I will." I tell him as I take off towards the medjack hut.

                      Colter's (POV)

After Thomas is gone Hope looks at me and says "Colter I want to say Thank You for looking out for my son and especially my little girl. I don't know what I would've done if anything happened to either of them.

I look over Hope and she suddenly envelopes me in a hug..

"Your welcome. Just know I would do it all again." I tell her.

I then walk toward the medjack hut..

When I get there I hear Thomas talking to (Y/N)..

                Thomas's (POV)         

"Hey Snowflake well Hope says that  you are going to be here overnight for observation and a little bit tomorrow because you got hurt and hit your head on the rocks."

"So we have that fight on our hands.. You'll never guess who is now in the Safe Haven.. Colter.. You remember our old friend when Mom and Dad went to work for Wicked. He would watched you when they came and took me away."

I look at (Y/N'S) sleeping figure and see her eyes flutter open..

I carefully place a hand on her head and tell that I'm right here..

"Take it easy Snowflake. I'm right here. Don't move too much."

Her hand shoots up and grabs mine.

I place her fingers on my cheek and tell her it's ok..

"Tommy sing to me? Please." She asks.

As the song ends I see (Y/N) has fallen asleep.

I get up to leave then notice Colter standing in the doorway..

He looks at me and says "Thomas tell (Y/N) I'll catch up with her when she's better."

I nod my head. After Colter leaves I take a seat in the chair next to (Y/N'S) bed holding her hand as we both fall asleep.
