Rakshan stared at his shut door for few seconds, before proceeding to order two cups of butterscotch ice cream from one of their favourite stores. After waiting for almost 20 minutes, he received his order and walked to his room, gently knocking the door. He heard a hoarse voice, whispering 'come in!'

Walking next to her, he sat on the bed and gave an ice cream cup to her, before bringing his forward for their traditional ice cream cheers, which brought a small smile on her face. She slowly scooped a tiny amount of ice cream and ate it. She brought the spoon for a second scoop but ended up placing the spoon in the cup. Tears rolled down from the corner of her eyes, which she tried hiding from her brother.

"Kutty-ma!" she heard a small whisper, and that was all she needed to collapse in his embrace and burst out crying.
