"Dei, fast-a athu cook aidacha parru!" Aravind yelled from the other side of the kitchen.

"Uppu kudu, Uppu kudu! Pink salt, rock salt-a tharada!"

Everyone in the kitchen could swear and state that they haven't heard Aravind's voice so often- to the point where they would break down and start crying if they heard his voice once again, but they did and at that moment, Shre screamed 'Anna!'

Sh: Anna, if I heard your voice once again, I promise I will take that pot of boiling water and will pour it into my ears.

Ar: Adicha konuruven, iniku-nu pathu ellamey slow-va iruku, ithula ne thani-a waste panuviya. Unaku venum-na poi antha china pot-la konjam thani warm paniko.

Ra: Asinga pattan, Shre! Opps!

Pu: Dei, iniku full day ne scream mattum than panrey, enna da unoda prechana! Unna poda-nu soliyachu, iruthalum ne pogama enoda uyir vangurey.

Ar: Neeyum enda ipdi pesura! Tension-a iruka da! Iniku avaluku Graduation, iniku nu pathu antha customer naliku party, iniku mathi taru. Ava vara venna than sonna, ana yosichu paru da, ellarum avanga parents oda varuvanga, avaluku mattum yarrum iruka mattanga.

Ra: Athuku than nanga irukomey, aprom yenna?

Ar: Dei, ne cumin seeds kum fennel seeds kum first-u difference sollu, athuku aprom una nambi na kitchen-a uttu poren.

And with that, everyone kept quite and began working on helping him. Within 30 mins, Aravind was able to wrap up and complete 2 out of the 4 difficult dishes and instructed Shre on the details. He quickly ran to the store room, changed his clothes without and rushed to her university without realizing the small stain on his pants from the flour in his hands.

Among the crowd of 20 on the stage, there was a pair of doe eyes that kept staring at the entrance, waiting to see if a certain someone would walk in. Eventually, the sight of vision changed, as soon as they heard the host requesting everyone to take their seat and started calling out the names of the graduates.

Sivaanya thanked her parents for selecting such a name, as it pushed her towards the bottom of the list, giving Aravind more time to reach. Although she said he didn't have to come, looking at parents cheering for their kids loudly made her expect his presence.

Minutes went by and she was next in turn. A pout was prominently visible on her face, as she was sad he couldn't be there. The nervousness she had last night was long lost because all she wanted was someone to cheer for her. She put on fake smile and stepped on to the stage when the host called out her name - 'Sivaanya Aravind'

When she received the certificate in her hand, she heard a whistle and series of loud claps. She genuinely laughed and turned to see Aravind who was standing amidst the crowd. Her eyebrows raised in utter shock, while he laughed at her reaction. She moved her hand to wave at him without getting caught. It immediately reminded him of a kinder garden student who would search for her parents in the crowd and wave at them when spotted.

She collected the certificate and left the stage, waiting for them to end the event so she could run to him. She sat back on the seat allocated for her, while her dear friend started to tease her. Once the event concluded, she ran to him who had his hands open for her to crash into. He give her tight hug and placed a peck on her forehead before whispering ' I'm proud of you' in her ears.

Si: Epdi vandha, iniku than antha party irukey?

Ar: Unoda graduation epdi miss panna mudiyum, athan quick-a difficult dishes lam finish panni, Shre ku instructions kuduthutu vandhuten!

Si: Message panirukalam-la?

Ar: Panirundha unoda hide and seek play paniruka mudiyuma? Someone here mentioned that it is okay if I don't come, but the same someone kept looking out for me and kept pouting.

Si: Ada paavi! Apo ellam pathiya! Ellam antha uncle-a sollanum, nalla una maracharu!

"People need to teach new age couples to behave themselves in public. Look at them wrapped up together. People weren't joking when they said your behavior rubs onto other people. That's why you meet people within your class and status"

Sivaanya and Aravind broke their hug after hearing that 'particular' voice. Her eyes automatically rolled when she was able to put a name label to the voice, and her hand left to grab Aravind's confidently.

Si: Oh! Hi Amma! I'm surprised you remembered! I graduated without your so called 'support'!

Si-A: Oh, not a fall in arrogance even after hitting the rock bottom, I'm impressed!

Si: Rock bottom? If I'm not wrong, I am in a happy and secured relationship. I have an understanding husband. Also, 2 caring brothers and a beautiful restaurant where we work together and enjoy. I am nowhere near rock bottom.

Si-A: I see! You could be holding hands with someone who would always be clad in expensive suits, but you choose to hold hands with someone who roams around with stained clothes.

It was her comment that made Aravind look over his appearance once again, when he noticed the stain on his pants. He immediately tried to brush it off when Sivaanya held his hands tightly.

Si: That's common when you work hard to get things done at work and rush to support your wife because her parents don't care.

Si-A: So, Mr. Cook doesn't have anything to say? I'm glad at least he feels that tinniest bit of embarrassment.

Ar: Oh, I'm not keeping quite because I'm embarrassed but because I know how it is to not have 'parents' and want to make sure I am respecting my wife's mother. Now, if you will excuse us, I have a present waiting for my wife. Also, we were doing nothing inappropriate. I hugged my wife because I was proud of her, if anybody needs to learn how to behave themselves, it is people who pock their noses in others businesses.

They quickly walked out hand in hand. Soon, as they reached out, Aravind raised his eyebrows at her, for which she replied with a super sign.
