Adrien sighed. He didn't want to fight with her but he didn't know how to stop it. "Marinette, what's wrong?"
"Just leave me alone." She glared at him.
"Not until you tell me why you suddenly hate me!"
"You almost got killed! Why wouldn't I?!"
"You wouldn't hate someone! You would see if they're okay!" Adrien yelled then calmed down. "There's another reason why you hate me."
"Just leave me alone, okay." Marinette turned her back to him and hugged herself. She didn't know why she was sawing this.
Adrien hugged her waist from behind and nuzzled his head into the back of her neck. "No. You're never going to alone, never again." He kissed her neck lightly then rested his head on her shoulder. "Please tell me."
"I-I remembered something, from my kidnapping." Marinette bit her lip and Adrien hugged her waist tighter.
"I'm sorry. You wouldn't of had that if I was with you that night."
"Please don't blame yourself anymore Adrien." She kissed his cheek but he moved his head and she kissed him and he kissed her back. She pulled away and blushed. "Adrien, I really did miss you."
"I missed you too." Adrien kissed her again and turned her to face him. He put his hands on her hips and deepened the kiss as he slipped his hands under the hem of her shirt but went slow. Marinette pulled away and he moved his hands away.
"I don't think nows a good time. I should go check on Emit." Marinette pulled away from him and walked out of the room and down to Emits. Adrien sighed but knew she wasn't ready yet. Marinette walked into his room and picked up her son who was wide awake and lying down in his crib. "Hi Emit. How you doing?" She picked him up and bounce him up and down as she made baby noises.
"We're still on for that girls night?" Alix asked as she leaned against the doorframe of his room.
"In five months yeah." Marinette giggled as she sat in the rocking chair and rocked back and forth in it.

Marinette blinked as the baby monitor blared in her ears with Emits crying. She rushed out of bed and room to Emits. She stopped in the doorway to see Adrien already in his room. "It's my turn, remember?" He whispered to her and smiled.
"O-oh yeah." Marinette sheepishly smiled. She was doing online courses while everyone else in the house either had to or wanted to go to an actual college setting. Marinette was fine with it, she still got student interaction just with people she already knew. Adrien went to college for business but does it online so Marinette doesn't have to be alone with Emit all day. "What do you want to do later today? Everyone will be here since they all took the same days off and we don't have any classes."
Adrien put Emit back in his crib after he fell asleep and smiled at her. "Why don't we go out? A family outing?" Marinette couldn't believe her ears.
"R-really? Wouldn't people ask things?"
"Like what? Is this what a loving family is?" Adrien laughed lightly as they left Emits room and walked down the hall to theirs.
"Why is Adrien Agreste with a random girl an a baby that looks like him?" Marinette sighed as they walked into their room and got in bed. "I just don't think it would be a good idea."
Adrien got in bed besides her and smiled. "Well I think it's a great idea. Today, we're going on a family picnic, after a couple more hours of sleep." Marinette nodded and they went back to sleep, still skeptical about Adrien's motive. After a few hours they woke up and got dressed into something suitable for an outing.
Marinette wore blue jeans, a black sweater turtle neck, black knee high boots and her hair down with a gold necklace around her neck that Adrien bought her. Adrien wore black jeans, a grey thin sweater with the sleeves bunched up to his elbows, black tennis shoes and, of course his wedding ring along with Marinette.
They walked into Emits room and dressed him into a blue baby onesie and a small blue hat. Adrien picked Emit up and put him in his carrier while Marinette made him some milk to drink so she wouldn't have to 'take it out' in public. "Are you sure this is a good idea Adrien?" Marinette asked while the put sandwiches into the basket along with the baby bottles, water and some baked goods.
"Absolutely!" Adrien smiled at her and she smiled back. "We should go to the park now." Marinette smiled and they left the house and got in the car. Adrien secured Emit in the back before driving to the park. When they got there Adrien helped Marinette and Emit out of the car and into the park. They found a spot and Adrien lied down a blanket and they sat down while Marinette smiled at him, uneasy. "You okay?"
"I just don't think this is a good idea." Marinette bit her lip as the people around them whispered things and it slowly grew louder in her ears. Adrien saw her worry and took her hand in his.
"It's okay. I won't let anyone hurt you, or Emit." Adrien smiled at her and gently kissed her cheek. Marinette relaxed at his touch and sighed. "Now, let's enjoy our time together, okay?"
"Okay." Marinette smiled at him and they started their picnic. Marinette pulled out the food and they ate happily until Emit started crying. "I got it." She took him out of his carrier and cradled him in her arms as everyone around them was judging them silently. "Can you hand me a bottle, please?"
"Is it formula?" Adrien chuckled as he handed her the bottle.
"No, all natural I just don't want to take it out in public." Marinette giggled as Emit began to drink the bottle. He finished it and Marinette draped a towel over her shoulder and burped him. He babbled and giggled and she giggled back. "He's so cute."
"Yeah you are." Adrien laughed then blushed at what he said. "I mean he is too but you are still cute-"
Marinette kissed his cheek. "Thanks." She blushed and cradled Emit in her arms as four people walked into the park.
Max was talking to his sister, Riley if you hadn't caught on from the last book, while Jolene and Ryan were talking besides them. "Is that Adrien and Marinette?" Max asked Riley and she looked at them and nodded. "Aren't you dating him?"
"It's only for show, Max. I told you that besides, we were at their wedding." Riley giggled and so did Jolene.
"We should go say hi." Ryan smiled and the rest nodded. They walked over to them and Marinette smiled as Adrien cradled Emit and played with him. "Hey guys." Ryan smiled and Marinette froze.
"Hi Ryan." Adrien greeted and saw who he was with. "How have you two been?"
"Good." Jolene blushed then saw Emit. "Is this the famous baby?"
"Y-yeah." Marinette blushed as the sat down on the blanket with them. "This is Emit."
"Hi Emit." Riley smiled. "Is it okay if I hold him?" Marinette and Adrien nodded and he gently put Emit in her arms. "He's so cute." Riley smiled as Emit giggled a little and babbled to her. He held her finger and put it in his mouth.
"He does that with everyone he likes." Adrien said. "He must like you."
"No wonder, babies love her." Max laughed and Marinette giggled. "How have you guys been?"
"Good. We live with a lot of people and they've been a big help with raising Emit." Marinette smiled at him and he smiled back. Riley handed Emit back to Adrien and he cradled his son in his arms.
"Riley! Why aren't you angry about this!" A swarm of 'Riadrien' shippers swarmed over to them and Emit began to cry. Marinette quickly took him from Adrien and cradled him in her arms and calmed his down.
"Adrien we should go." Marinette muttered and Adrien nodded.
"You're not going anywhere bitch!" The fangirls yelled and Emit began to cry again.
"Shut that hell baby up!" Adrien was already boiling that someone had called his wife a bitch and now was overflowing.
"Don't talk to my son that way!" Adrien yelled and the fangirls quieted down rapidly. He saw how he out bursted and how fast they were silent and grew terrified of his own power. "Don't talk to anyone that way. It's rude and snotty and down right 'bitchy'."
"Did you just say son?" A fangirl scoffed. "I doubt that baby is yours."
"Are you kidding me, Amber! I ship it more then the next person but that's clearly his baby!" A girl with black rimmed glasses walked over to them. "Sorry about Amber she just really likes you and Riley together. I'm Connie." She stuck her hand out to Adrien and he hesitantly shuck it.
"I-its fine Connie." Marinette smiled.
"No it's not. They just hate the fact that like three weeks ago you guys broke up. I don't care as long as you guys are happy." She smiled.
"T-that's really smart of you to say." Riley smiled.
"Thanks. Now, I have to explain genetics to Amber." Amber scoffed and Connie sighed. "What's his name?"
"Emit." Adrien answered.
"How old is he?"
Adrien looked at Marinette and she nervously laughed. "We'd rather not say."
"It would stay just between us."
"Not when there're eyes and ears everywhere. We've done to much already and we should be getting home." Connie nodded and walked back to Amber, yelling.
