Marinette walked into the living room and hugged Nathanael before sitting down. "Sorry I took so long." Marinette smiled at him.

"It's fine but I have some news." Nathanael sat down across from her and she lifted a brow. He rested his forearms on his thighs and jolted his leg up and down, nerves getting to him.

"What is it Nath?" Marinette asked him, putting her hand on his leg.

"Well uhm, I was wondering if I could uhm." He couldn't form words. What he was about to ask her was a pretty big deal.

"You can tell me anything." Marinette smiled at him and he took a deep breath. He took off his overcoat exposing bruises on his arms. "Where did you get those?"

"M-my fiancée." Nathanael scratched the back of his neck and Marinette gasped.

"Who's your fiancée?" Marinettes face was plastered with worry.

"I meet her in Italy for a job a while back. Her name is Karina but she likes to be called Kay." Nathanael sighed. "She moved here after I came back. She has neon blue hair and brown eyes and tattoos covering her arms and three piercings per ear." Nathanael tried to describe her as best he could.

"She sounds like a badass to me." Marinette giggled.

"She is. She likes adventure so I don't know why she fell for me. I like quiet." Nathanael sighed as Marinette stood up and grabbed his hand, leading him into a bathroom. "What're you doing?"

"I'm fixing you up. Keep telling." Marinette smiled at him. Nathanael sat on the edge of the tub and Marinette got out the first aid kit.

"So she came to Paris after I came back here and then we kept dating. She then moved in with me and as soon as we were behind closed doors she would turn into this sort of monster." Marinette lifted a brow. "She would have me do almost everything and would hurt me if I did something wrong."

"Lift your shirt." Nathanael took off his shirt and Mairnette winced at the sight of all the bruises and scars. "She can really hit you."

"Yep." Nathanael sighed. "And I also had to keep my painting skills up and sell my paintings to keep myself in business so I would have to do everything plus my paintings and have it all done by the time she got home from her job."

"What's her job?"

"She won't tell me but Rose told me she doesn't even have a job. That she just walks around Paris all day shopping." Nathanael winced as Marinette cleaned up the cuts on his chest and abdomen. Nathanael had abs but they weren't better then Adriens.

"How did you two get to fiancée part?" Marinette asked him.

"We meet when Scarlett was just born."

"You've been dating for four years?" Nathanael sighed and nodded.

"Five years tomorrow." Nathanael sighed. "We meet when Scarlett was just born, she moved in a year after that and then she played mind games with me until I bent down on one knee." He ran his hand though his hair and Marinette put the first aid kit away and he put his shirt back on.

"Jesus why don't you break up with her."

"I've tried but then she'd get mad at me." Marinette sighed as they walked through the house and back to the living room.

"So why did you come to me?"

"I-I was wondering if I could stay here for a few days."

"Of course." Marinette smiled and hugged him and he winced.

Marinette let go and looked at him, worry covering her face. "I-it's just my back."

She turned him around and looked at his back and winced. There was a giant bruise covering his back. "Oh Nathanael. You need to break things off with her, now." The doorbell rang and Marinette put down his shirt. "I'll be right back just stay here." He nodded and sat down while Marinette got the door. She opened the door and lifted a brow. "Who are you?"

She pushed Marinette out of the way and barged into the house. "Where's my fiancé?" Kay crossed her arms.

"What?"

"Nathanael! My fiancé! You idiot! Tell me where your hiding him!" Kay shouted at Marinette. Nathanael peaked his head out of the door and winced as he saw Kay pin Marinette against the wall.

"I don't know where he is!" Marinette yelled back and pushed her away. "Get out of my house!"

"Not until you give me my fiancé!" Kay yelled at her and Marinette rolled her eyes. "Don't roll your eyes at me bitch!" Kay pushed Marinette to the floor and kicked her, hard.

"Karina stop!" Nathanael yelled and she looked at him. "Leave me alone!"

"But baby, we're getting married in three weeks." Kay latched into his arm and he shuck her off. "Baby."

"No, Karina I'm done. I'm not marrying you anymore. You hurt me and my friends. I'm not dealing with you anymore." He took off her engagement ring and threw it away. "Leave me and my friend alone."

"But baby-"

"No. Leave Karina." Kay growled and stormed out of the house and Marinette looked at Nathanael.

"What got you the courage to fight her?" Marinette asked him as she stood up.

"Seeing you in danger." Nathanael bit his lip.

"Would you like to say anything else?" Marinette giggled while Conner called the authorities plus Adrien.

"Is it bad to say I had two girlfriends at once?"

"Yes." Marinette growled. "Why in hell would you have two girlfriends?"

"I broke up with Kay and then got another girlfriend and then she forced her way back into my life and made me her fiancé."

"Does your other girlfriend know?"

"Yeah and uhm she-she wants to meet you and Adrien." Marinette blinked before her lips crept into a smile.

"Why does she want to meet us?"

"W-well uhm I kinda talk about you two a lot."

"What's her name?"

"Riley. Riley Harts." Nathanael smiled and Marinette smiled back.

"Well, not to burst your bubble but we've already meet and Adriens not going to be back for a couple of days." Marinette walked with him to the living room.

"She told me." Nathanael laughed. "But it's been a while, might as well see her again before I pop the question to her, not forced this time."

"That's amazing Nath!" Marinette hugged him and he hugged her back. "Do you have a ring yet?" Nathanael reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out the ring. "It's beautiful! She'll love it!"

"Thanks Marinette." Nathanael smiled and put his jacket on. "I have a date to get too."

"Bye Nath." Marinette smiled as he left the house. She sighed as she went into the bathroom and looked at her side with a big bruise on it. "Please be gone before Adrien gets home." As if on cue Adrien called her. "Hey Adrien."

"Marinette, Conner called me. Chloe was at the house and a crazed lunatic!"

"Adrien I'm fine. You stay on your trip."

"Okay just be safe while I'm gone."

"I will. Oh and Nathanael wants us to meet his girlfriend before he asks her to marry him."

"Why?"

"He says he talks a lot about us to her and its Riley. We might as well."

"Okay. See you when I get back."

"Okay. I love you."

"I love you too." Marinette hung up and walked down to her room and changed clothes. She looked at the time and it was nearly eight.

"Hey Conner, why don't you head home for the night."

"Okay. Goodbye Mrs-Marinette." Conner smiled and left the house. Marinette crawled into bed and sighed, hoping that tomorrow would be better then the day she had.

Adrien leaned against the window of the truck as Nino drove them out of the woods. "What're you worried about dude? That Marinettes will be gone when you get back?" Nino chuckled and Adrien glared at him.

"No it's just that Marinette got hurt while I was gone."

"Dude stop that. It's not your fault." Kim patted his back as Nino pulled onto the highway. A few hours later and they were in the driveway of the house. "Later Adrien!"

"Later guys!" Adrien waved them off as he walked up to the door. He pushed it open and smiled to himself.

"Daddy!" Scarlett and Emit ran down the stairs and hugged him.

"Did you get anything?" Emit asked and Adrien shuck his head.

"It was camping, not hunting buddy so I didn't get anything." Emit nodded and hugged his dad again. "I missed you guys too!"

"Adrien, you're back!" Marinette smiled and ran down to him and hugged him, holding Lucas in her arm.

"Yeah of course." Adrien hugged her back and she smiled. "How was your week without me?"

Marinette giggled at the smirk on his face. "Fine. I got a lot of work done. But I did miss my distractions." She hugged her family and Adrien smiled.

Adrien yawned, followed by Emit and Scarlett. "Sounds like we're all tired." Adrien chuckled and picked up his children. Scarlett and Emit fell asleep on his shoulder and he put them to bed and Marinette put Lucas in his crib. He held Marinettes waist and kissed her neck..

"A-Adrien." Marinette moaned and quickly closed the door to Lucas's room. Adrien held her against the wall and she bit her lip as he kissed her neck. "A-Adrien n-not now." Marinette pressed her thighs together.

"Why not now?" Adrien started lightly sucking her neck and Marinette held back moans.

"T-the kids a-are here. Th-they'll hear us." Marinette moaned but kept it down.

"We can keep it down. Please Marinette, we haven't done, it, since Lucas was born." He kissed up her jawline and then passionately kissed her on the lips.

"A-Adrien th-the kids w-will hear us." She wanted him but with the kids here, it was hard. "S-stop." She bit her lip as Adrien kissed her neck again.

"Okay Mari." He stopped and backed away from her. "We can always do it later." He winked and Marinette blushed as he walked away and started the shower.
