Kristen's POV
I wake up to my alarm. I reach my hand over and attempt to turn I off. I miss. So I try until I get it. I rub my face and look around. Ariel is up on the laptop, which is weird because Ariel is never up before me and she's never on the laptop. I get up out of bed, go over to Ariel's bed and sit down.
   "Hey." Ariel says scrolling through pictures.
   "What ya doing?" I ask her.
   "Nothing really I'm just looking up random things because I'm bored. So uh I have a question for you." Ariel says looking at me.
   "Okay ask away." I say.
   "Have mom and dad ever mentioned an 'apocalypse' that happened here?" Ariel says looking down.
   "Nope. Why you ask?" I ask
   "No reason." Ariel says.
   "Alright I'm gonna go take a shower I'll be out in a bit." I say getting up.
   "K." Ariel says.
Ariel's POV
   I wait until I hear the shower turn on then I close the computer and go downstairs where all of our parents are talking.
   "Hey Ari what ya doing up so early?" My dad asks.
   "Dad, I want to know who 'Bill Cipher' is and what this 'apocalypse' thing that you keep talking about is." I say.
   Everyone looks at each other silently. Then my dad finally says something. "Uh...I really didn't think I'd be showing this to you so soon but I guess I'd have to someday. I'll be right back okay." My dad goes upstairs to his room then comes down with a dusty red book. "I'm going to wait until everyone is awake to tell this okay."
   I nod my head and sit down.
   About 30 minutes later everyone was awake and gathered downstairs, my dad invited Wendy and Tiffany, so they could be a part of this.
   "Okay so I've pretty much explained why you guys are here so I shouldn't have to repeat it." My dad takes a deep breath. "This is my Great Uncle Ford's journal. Now before you ask anything let me explain. You all pretty much know Gravity Falls is not a normal place so there has been many things that are unusual and kinda scary. This book was made to take notes about these scary and unusual things. Like this," My dad flips to a random page. "Gnomes. Since you've all seen the strange things here so that shouldn't surprise you to much."
   "Dipper. How is that book still here I thought Bill burned it." Mabel says confused.
   "Well since everyone in here knew how Ford was would it really surprise you if the guy had multiple copies of this?" My dad asks and everyone smiles and laughs. "Anyways this thing may be outdated because there is many different...things here now but the gnome still are here and this brings me to the next topic." My dad flips to a page with symbols surrounding a triangle. "This is Bill Cipher. If anyone of you kids here ever sees this triangle you need to tell one of us adults because this little tiny triangle once caused the apocalypse in  Gravity Falls."
   "Dad I have a question. What do those symbol things mean." I ask.
   "That brings me to the next thing. These symbols are symbols of people. More specifically symbols of people in this room. That first symbol is Soos, the next is Wendy, that one was Great Uncle Stan's who I doubt you kids remember as sad as it is, that one is my symbol, that one is.../was Gidoen's I don't know if he's still around or not, that one is Ford because of his six fingers, that Llama one is Pacifica's, that one right there is Mabel's, that one is/was Robbie's who again I don't know if he's alive or not, and the last one was Fiddleford/McGucket's symbol he pasted about a year ago."
   That means that the symbols on Cyra's shirt must mean something, but what?
