(Two chapters cause I promised.) Kristen's POV
Everyone just stood there. Staring. What just happened? It all happened so fast. Too fast. Mark was helping Jack breath while Rhett stood, staring at his feet. Aron put his hand on Rhett's shoulder. James looked very angry, and Kristina was crying. Ariel looked at me and for a while we just stared at each other.
"That...that wasn't Iris. Iris...wouldn't ever do anything like that. She'd never even...think about doing that." Rhett closed his eyes as he continued looking down.
"She...she-she told me...she didn't really like Jack...but, she w-would never do anything like that." Kristina cried as she leaned against the wall.
Aron keep quiet as he tried to comfort Rhett.
"Why?! Why would she do that?! She's crazy! I've been on to her from the beginning! I knew something was up with her! I-" James yelled.
"The look in her eyes." Jack whispered to Mark.
I looked back at Ariel who was now breathing heavily. "Ari. It's okay everyone's okay." I walked towards her. She looked scared and began breathing more heavily. "Ariel. Look at me. Everything is okay. Jack is okay." She looked at Jack who was sobbing into Mark's shirt. She began backing away from me. "Ariel." I walked at bit faster towards her. James noticed us. Ariel bit her bottom lip and stared at me. She turned and ran outside. "Ariel!" I yelled at I ran after her.
"Ariel, Kristen!" James yelled as we ran down the sidewalk.
Ariel ran fast. "Leave me alone!" She yelled.
"I'm not letting you run of by yourself it's not safe!" I yelled back.
Ariel stopped at looked at me. She was crying. "Kristen go away."
"Ariel it's ok-"
"It's not okay Kristen! Jack almost died! That wasn't Iris! I could tell!" Ariel yelled. "I need to find her"
"Let me go with you then." I replied wiping her tears.
"You care to much." Ariel smiled, but quickly went back to crying.
"That's because I love you." I hugged Ariel.
"You two are crazy." James said as he ran towards us.
"We're going to find Iris." Ariel said.
"No, you're coming inside. We need to talk about this. We'll talk to Iris later. Give her a second." James smiled as he gestured for us to come with him.
I turned and smiled at Ariel, "Give her time." Ariel sighed as she wiped her tears.
As we entered the house Rhett was sitting on the couch with Aron and Kristina next to him. Mark and Jack were in the kitchen still. Jack was still crying while Mark tried to comfort him.
This will be a long day.
