Ariel's POV
"I dare you to try and throw this, " Rhett tosses Mark a bag on chips. "In...that bin down the road and across the street." Rhett smiles.
"I can't throw that far Rhett." Mark laughed as he looked at Rhett.
"Sure ya can. Just try." Jack says, sitting down next to Mark, while opening a can of soda.
"Alright..." Mark stands up. "Don't be surprised when I don't make it though." Mark draws his arm back, steps forward and throws the bag of chips. To no ones surprise it didn't make it. "See. It just wasn't gonna happen." Mark laughs.
Kristen looked up from her notebook and smiled at me. I smiled back.
"What are you drawing?" I ask trying to look at Kristen's notebook. She turns her notebook away from me.
"I'll show you when I'm done." Kristen says turning herself away from me, so I couldn't see her notebook.
   I smile and look away from Kristen. As I began to look towards Rhett I realized Iris disappeared. "Where'd Iris go?" I asked looking around.
   "What do ya mean?" Jack asks taking a sip of his soda. "She's right over...there...." Jack paused noticing Iris wasn't there anymore.
   "Iris probably just went to the bathroom." Rhett says as he looks up at the sky.
"I'm gonna go get a snack anybody want anything?" Jack asks standing up. Everyone shakes their head no as they look at Jack. "Alight I'll be right back."

I ran into the kitchen and quickly turned back into myself. Holding a human form is very hard. I've been pretending to be one of them for hours, and it's very hard to do without hurting me.
As I slid down the wall and relaxed, the front door opened. I panicked and froze for a second until I heard footsteps coming for the kitchen. I stood up as quickly as possible and changed back into my human form.
"Oh hey Iris!" Jack said as he came into the kitchen. "We've been looking for you!" He walks over to the fridge.
All these humans do is eat and sleep. Must be a pretty boring way to live.
"Hey Jack." I said grabbing a soda trying to act more casual.
"Hey are you okay? You're sweating-"
"I'm fine. I came inside to cool off." I opened the soda and took a drink. It tasted absolutely terrible, but I continued to drink it.
"Okay...are you sure you're okay though. You've been acting-"
"I'm fine!!" I shouted obviously scaring Jack.
"Don't yell at me I was only trying to be a good friend and look out for you." Jack gave me a smile.
"Stop talking to me." I said in a serious way.
"Iris. What is wrong-"

Ariel's POV
Everyone stood up as they heard Jack yell from inside. Mark immediately ran inside to see what happened.
Everyone followed behind him. Mark stopped and looked in horror at the scene in front of him. As I looked at what Mark had been looking at I immediately froze.
