Y/n POV:-

I woke up with the same routine, and now I am in front of the dressing table doing my hair. My mind is flooded with so many thoughts right now.

A part of me is happy with what we have between Jungkook and me. The secret moments, the stolen glances, and the way he makes my heart race every time we're together-they're so intoxicating. I can't help but smile when I remember his touch. Being with him feels like the only time I am truly alive.

But still, a part of me is worried about what might happen because of this. The guilt eats at me, especially when I think about Yerin, his wife, or even when I look at myself in the mirror.

What if someone finds out?

What if Rowoon spreads rumors?

The consequences could be terrible for both of us. Our reputations, our futures-everything we've worked so hard for could fall apart. The fear is always there, reminding me of how risky this is.

As I finish my hair and look at my reflection, I see the conflict in my eyes. A mix of joy and worry, love and fear. This has become my new normal, a constant struggle between what I want and what I know is right.

Whatever it is... I want to give it a chance. Someone once said that people like to eat forbidden fruit, no matter how dangerous it can be. That's where I am right now. And I want to eat that forbidden fruit.

Despite the risks, there's a thrill in the secrecy, a rush in danger. It's like I'm living a double life, balancing on a thin line between happiness and disaster. Part of me knows it's wrong, but another part can't resist the excitement.

I know I should be careful, that I should think about the consequences. But right now, all I can think about is Jungkook and how he makes me feel. This forbidden love is consuming me, and I don't want to let it go, no matter the cost.

Just then, my phone rings. It's Jungkook. My heart skips a beat as I answer.

Jungkook: Hey

he says softly.

Jungkook: I was thinking.... Can you wait for me? I want to pick you up today.

His voice sends a shiver down my spine.Y/n: Okay

I reply, trying to keep my voice steady.

Jungkook: Great. I'll be there in ten minutes.

he said, and I can hear the smile in his voice.

As I hang up, the thrill of anticipation mixes with my earlier worries. Meeting him like this feels like a stolen moment from reality, making everything else fade away. But as much as I crave these moments, I can't shake the feeling of walking on a tightrope, where one wrong step could change everything.

I glance at my reflection one last time, taking a deep breath. Whatever happens, I'm ready to face it. For him. For us.

Time skip

As I step out of my apartment, I see Jungkook's car parked. His presence always has a way of making my heart races, and today is no different. I slid into the passenger seat and he greeted me with his deep oceanic voice.

Jungkook: Good morning Baby.

My eyes immediately snapped towards him with the nickname he used.

Y/n: G-good m-morning

I greeted him back trying to calm my racing heart. A smirk appeared on his handsome face seeing me stuttering.

Jungkook: You're looking beautiful.

He says, his eyes linger on mine with a mixture of admiration and desire. I couldn't help but felt butterflies dancing on my stomach.

Y/n: Thank you.

I replied and my voice barely came out as I felt the heat rise in my cheeks.

As we head towards the university, the car is filled with comfortable silence. The city slowly wakes up around us, the streets gradually filling with people starting their day. I glance over at Jungkook, his focused expression as he drives, and I can't help but smile.

Y/n: Did you sleep well last night?

I ask, breaking the silence.

Jungkook glances at me with a small smile.

Jungkook: I tried, but I kept thinking about you.

he said, his tone playful but with a hint of seriousness.

I feel my cheeks warm at his words, and I look out the window to hide my smile.

Y/n: You're too sweet.

I say softly.

Y/n: I couldn't stop thinking about you either.

He chuckles, reaching over to hold my hand and lightly squeezing it.

Jungkook: I guess we're both hopeless.

he says, shaking his head.

Jungkook: But I wouldn't have it any other way.

The warmth of his touch lingers even after he pulls his hand away to steer the car. We fall into another comfortable silence, the cityscape passing by in a blur.

Again there's a moment of comfortable silence for a brief moment but my thoughts are telling me to break the silence.

Y/n: Jungkook.....

I called him softly, he hummed at the response and looked at me with his soft gaze

Y/n: I am scared of Ro-woon.

Jungkook: Truth is I am also scared. But we can't change what has already happened. Let's live in the present and try to make things better.

He stated with a calm and gentle gaze and the softness of his words made me feel at ease.

I nodded and gave him an assuring smile.

As we get closer to the university, Jungkook slows down and pulls over at a quiet spot, He turns to look at me, concern and care in his eyes.

Jungkook: We should stop here, Just to be safe.

he says gently.

I nod, understanding the need for caution even though I wish we could stay together longer.

Y/n: Yeah, you're right.

I agree, trying to keep the disappointment out of my voice.

Before I got out, he stopped me by holding my hand and kissed my forehead softly.

Y/n: Be careful today.

I whisper as I pull back, my fingers lingering on his.

Jungkook: Always, i'll see you later and don't overthink.....

he says with a small smile, I nodded.

I step out of the car, taking a deep breath as I head towards the campus. I can still feel his gaze on me, and it gives me the strength to face the day ahead. Even though we have to be careful, the moments we share are enough to keep me going.

No one's POV:-

Y/n came to her class and sat on her seat. Her mind is a little relaxed today and she is happy with whatever is happening with her at the moment although the path is full of dangers but what makes her feel confident is Jungkook's words and his support. At some point Jungkook also feels the same way. They are ready to face whatever comes in their way holding each other's hand.

Y/n is sitting on her seat as usual and her surrounding is filled with gossips of different topics in between different pairs and groups of students. She isn't caring about it and is minding her own business.

She is a little scared of Ro-woon. What if he started spreading rumours and everyone believes him.

The classroom is filled with buzzing and students chatting as some prepared for the lecture.

Jungkook enters and walks to the front of the class and greets everyone with a bright smile dangling on his face.

Jungkook: Good morning everyone.

Before his eyes met with Y/n, he looked at the class or more particularly Ro-woon and noticed he isn't paying attention to him or Y/n and is busy with his work. Then he looked at other directions. Confirming that no one's looking at him his orbs travelled to the direction of Y/n's seat. When their gaze collides he gave her a smile and she replied to it with a smile too.

Then he started teaching and everyone is busy taking notes. He is trying his best to avoid any suspicions from other students.

Y/n also is paying more attention to the class than her surrounding. But from time to time she took glances at Ro-woon and tried to make sure that he wasn't suspecting them.

As the class comes to an end, Jungkook pauses for a brief moment taking a glance of his watch, he starts speaking again drawing everyone's attention.

Jungkook: Before you all go, I have a news that might interest you.

The class falls silent, curious. Y/N, who was just about to pack up her things stops in the middle of his work, and gets curious what can the news be..???

Jungkook: I know you’ve all been working hard, and I appreciate your efforts. To reward your dedication, the university has decided to hold a special event next week—a field trip to the historical site downtown.

The classroom erupts into chatter, a mix of excitement and discussion. The historical site is a famous spot, and students start talking about how they’ve heard it’s haunted or how it’s a perfect spot for an outing.

Y/N exchanges a look with Jiwoon, a benchmate, who seems just as surprised as she is. This field trip wasn’t on the schedule, and the suddenness of it makes her wonder if there’s more to it than just a reward for hard work.

Jungkook continues, trying to get the class’s attention back.

Jungkook: I’ll be leading the trip, and I expect everyone to be on their best behavior. This is not just an opportunity to have fun but also to learn, so make sure you come prepared.

Y/N feels a mix of excitement and anxiety. The idea of spending more time with Jungkook outside the classroom is thrilling, but the public setting also brings risks. They’ll have to be even more cautious, especially with Ro-woon around.

As the students start discussing the trip in more detail, Ro-woon leans back in his chair, a sly smile playing on his lips as he exchanges a glance with a few other students. It’s clear he’s already thinking about how to make the trip more interesting—or perhaps, more problematic.

Jungkook dismisses the class, and the students leave with buzzing excitement. Y/n stays behind, her mind racing with possibilities. She knows she’ll need to talk to Jungkook about this, but right now, she’s trying to keep her face neutral, not wanting to give away any of her inner thoughts.

I am sorry for the short chapter as I was caught up with some works.

Again I am sorry because I might not be able to update the next part any soon because my exams are going to start from 16th of this month.

I will try to write whenever I get time and update it but if I can't then I am really sorry.
