No one's POV:

For both Lovebirds it was a long night. For Y/n, it was because of diary and for Jungkook, he can't wait to confront her and clear everything between them.

Next day

(Y/n's outfit)

Y/n got ready and left her apartment earlier than usual in search of her diary. She came to the library and went to the table where they sat yesterday. She searched at that place but didn't find it anywhere. Then she saw a staff member assigned for cleaning the library was cleaning.

She went to her and asked her about the diary, thinking she might have kept it somewhere while cleaning. But to her dismay, she denied saying she doesn't know anything about the diary.

But she didn't notice someone was also watching the scene, how she was madly searching for the diary.

Y/n is regretting the fact that she brought that diary to the university. Her thoughts are saying "what if some students took it and read it, will they bully her" she never got bullied cuz she never messes with someone and always stays away from others business but she has seen how brutally the bullies bully their prey.

"what if they start humiliating her in front of everyone for having a crush on her professor plus he is married"  These thoughts are dancing on her mind and with a heavy heart she went to the class.

Her mind was not here, it was stuck in the diary. She is thinking about every possible consequence, if someone finds it.

Jungkook felt a little bad for making her anxious. He could have kept the diary in its place but he decided to give it to her through himself. He was also not focused on teaching. Like this the class ended and it was lunch time.

Y/n directly went to library not giving a thought to go and have her lunch, cuz she is nowhere hungry to eat.

While searching, she heard a deep voice from behind her.

Jungkook: Are you looking for this Ms. Y/n.

Jungkook asked standing behind her holding the diary.

Y/n immediately turned around and her heart beats rapidly and she got scared looking at the diary in the hands of someone she expected the least.

Without wasting any time, she went to him, took the diary. After taking it, she sighed heavily like her life came back but the realisation hit her again and she asked

Y/n: Where did you find this.

She was expecting that he didn't read the diary but only if she knew, he already did, he read every bit of it and is here to talk about it only.

Jungkook: You left it here in the library. I saw your name written on it so I went to give it to you, but it was late, you have already picked up the bus.

Y/n: Thank you for returning it back.

Now Y/n is only expecting that he didn't read this book, so that they can drop the conversation here and she can leave this place and check whether everything is right or not.

But luck's not on her side. Jungkook started questioning her.

Jungkook: Btw what's in it that you were so worried, scared and anxious from the morning.

Y/n looked at him, she is processing his words and trying to find a reason to put in front of him, so that he got convinced.

Y/n: Umm.... I-Its....

Her words cut off when Jungkook spoke up

Jungkook: Is it about your crush.

Y/n's eyes widened. She questioned in her mind, how he knew, Did he read it. If he read it then how much or did he read everything.

Y/n: H-how did you know.

Jungkook started taking steps towards her and she started going backwards until her back hit with one of the racks. Jungkook came near her without breaking the eye contact and started telling her what was written in the book. How she described him.

"He has big doe eyes, cute pointed nose, red plump lips, silky fluffy hairs, perfect jawline and a scar on his face adding more handsomeness. His veiny hands are something which I can't take my eyes off. He has a lot of muscles, his rock hard chest is a weakness for me and I wonder how many packs he might have in his abs. His thick thighs are no joke, I wanna sit on those thighs."

Hearing this Y/n confirmed that he already found out about her crush aka himself. She thought he would hate her thinking how she can have a crush on someone who is already married.

In defending herself, she said

Y/n: M-Mr. Jeon, I didn't know that you were married so at first I kind of developed some feelings for you but after knowing that you are married, I-I.......

Jungkook: "I....." What did you do Ms. Y/n.

Y/n: I.....

Y/n couldn't able to say anything cuz she still have feelings for him. If she says that she still feels for him then what will he think.
But Jungkook wants to know what her feelings are for him.

Jungkook: Do you still have feelings for me Y/n.

Y/n is speechless, why he is asking these questions, she thought and why he called her Y/n not Ms. Y/n.
But Jungkook is impatient to know her answer. His heart is beating fast. Will she accept her feelings or deny it.

Jungkook: Tell me Y/n. Do you still have the same feelings for me.

She looked at his eyes, thinking what to reply. Should she be honest with him or should she lie.
Jungkook noticed her hesitation, like she can't decide whether to lie or not but he wants her to be honest with him.

Jungkook: Please be honest Y/n. Don't lie. Don't keep it to yourself Y/n. Tell me.....

Tears started forming in Y/n's eyes being aware of the fact that even if she agree to it, they can never be together. So what's the point.

Y/n: I-It doesn't matter

She said with a heavy heart and trying to control her tears.
His heart clenched looking at her tears, he held her face with his hand and wiped the tears from her cheeks and told

Jungkook: It matters. It does matter.

Y/n couldn't understand how, how does it matters. It's been more than 2 years since their marriage, they are a happy couple, they might be planning their family, this is what she thought not knowing what the actual truth is.

Y/n: You- You are married.

Jungkook understood, what she is thinking, to clear her misunderstanding, He thought of telling her about his married life that he doesn't love her. There is nothing in their relationship. They are just married couples for the world but their relationship doesn't have any feelings.

He was about to say but halted when he heard a footstep. The footstep is coming near so he pulled away himself from her and faced another direction.

Y/n also turned her back and pretend to look for books in the rack.

The footsteps came to halt where they were, they turned to see who it was. It was a staff

Staff: Mr. Jeon, I searched you everywhere but you are here.

Jungkook: What is it..

Staff: The principal called all the staff to have a meeting.

Jungkook: But there was no notice about the meeting.

Staff: Actually the board officers came today and they made some changes in the rules, so the principal wants to discuss it with all the staff.

Jungkook: Ok, I am coming.

Then the staff left. He looked at you and said

Jungkook: Wait for me after the university ends.

After saying this he left.
She don't know why, he said to wait for him. She also left the library.

She came back to her class and sat on her seat. The class is suspended due to the meeting so she kept her head on the desk and started thinking about what happened in the library.

Her mind is clouded with thoughts.
"Will he hate her after knowing the truth"
" will he behave the same way as he was doing or will he change"
"will he humiliate her"
These thoughts are lingering on her head.

She is regretting the decision to bring the diary. She is questioning herself
"why did she bring that" and even if she did then
"how can she forget something so important, how it slipped out of her mind."

She is crying silently not only about the situation but also over the reason that "they can't be together"

She has fallen for him deeply, its hard to keep her feelings locked inside her heart.
She is feeling suffocated from all the things happening.

She got up and went to the washroom making sure no one saw her crying face. She washed her face and then came back to the class.

After some time the class started as the meeting was over. She tried to focus on the class but she is tired. Like this all the classes for the day finished.

Now Y/n is standing in the bus stand waiting for Jungkook. Yes she decided to go with him and clear out everything.

After some time Jungkook's car arrived and without any talk, she sat inside the car. He started the car and headed towards somewhere without telling anything.

He stopped the car and she saw it was a restaurant. She looked at him and about to ask but he said-

Jungkook: We didn't have our lunch. So let's eat first.

Y/n is also hungry so she nodded and both entered the restaurant and started eating silently. Y/n was getting more and more anxious, why he isn't starting the conversation. So she decided to start the conversation.

Y/n: Umm... About earlier-

Jungkook: Eat first. We will talk about this later.

Jungkook said stopping her from saying anything.

After finishing their meal and paying the bill both of them again sat in the car and Jungkook started the engine.

He stopped the car near a hilly area and the sunset view is looking amazing from here. Both got out of the car and went near the hill.

Jungkook started the conversation from clearing her misunderstanding.

Jungkook: Y/n look whatever you are thinking is not right. It may be strange for you but it's true.

Y/n: What do you mean.

He took a deep sigh and again started speaking.

Jungkook: It's true that I am married but I don't have any feelings for Yerin. We both stay in the same house under the same roof, in the same room but I never felt anything magical for her.

But whenever I am around you or even think about you, my heart beat rises, I feel warmth engulfing me. I couldn't stop myself from smiling like an idiot. I always feel a spark inside me whenever I see you. Seeing your smile, makes me feel happy and your honey like voice, I always want to listen them.

Your eyes hold a galaxy within themselves, your smile makes my day and your presence is so comfortable. Whenever I don't see you in your seat, I don't feel happy, I get worried, I get anxious but when I saw you present, my all worry flew away. Its like I can do anything when you are with me but I couldn't even think about anything else when you are not present like I feel sick.

He said each word looking at her eyes and she can feel the sincerity in his words, she can feel the weight of his words.

He came near her and hold her hand, then looked at her eyes

Jungkook: I like you Y/n. I really do. I like you a lot that I can't imagine a life without you.

Hearing his confession, Y/n is utterly shocked. She couldn't believe her ears, that the man she had a crush on confessed his feelings for her. She felt so happy like she was on cloud nine. Happy tears started flowing from her eyes.

Jungkook took his hand to her cheeks and wiped her tears and asked

Jungkook:  Do you like me Y/n.

He knows the answer, but still he wants to listen to it from her mouth. He is nervous, and without breaking the eye-contact he waited for her answer.

Y/n: Yes. I like you. I like you a lot

Jungkook instantly hugged her. Feeling safe and comfortable Y/n also hugged him back. They both remained in the same position feeling each other's warmth.

He broke the hug and looked at her eyes and then his eyes fell on her lips. She realised what he wanted. She watched her face coming closer to her but she stopped him.

Y/n: Mr. Jeon, I don't want to be a home wrecker.
