The university has decided to take the students on a field trip next week and Jungkook himself is going to lead this trip.

Y/n felt excited as well as a wave of anxiety as they are going to a public place where they will be spending more time with each other along with other students.

No one's POV:-

As the class ended, Y/N quickly packed her things and hurried out of the classroom. In the rush, she accidentally collided with someone. She immediately apologized and was about to continue on her way when the person spoke up.

Ro-woon: Why are you in such a hurry...?

Y/N felt a wave of irritation wash over her. She was growing tired of Ro-woon's constant nosiness.

Y/N: It's none of your business, Ro-woon.

She replied with a hint of irritation in her voice.

Ro-woon: Well, maybe it's not. But I can't help being a little concerned.

Y/n: Then no need to be concerned because it has nothing to do with you....

Y/N's patience was wearing thin, but she tried to stay calm.

Ro-woon: I hope so. But from what I see...

Y/N: Why can't you just understand, Ro-woon? There's nothing going on.

Y/n reached her level of anger and bursted on him making him go silent. Ro-woon realised that if he pushes more then the situation might get worse so he decides to stay silent.

Y/n left the place. She was about to go Jungkook's cabin but she decides not to go there at least for now. Moreover, talking with Rowoon has killed some time and Jungkook might have left for the next class.

With these thoughts, she went to library and spent her time there.

Ro-woon POV:-

I watched Y/n storming out of the class with an angry mood after our encounter which leads to an argument. I couldn't  understand what had happened between us, but it felt uneasy.

I didn't meant to upset her but the way she reacted..... It wasn't just frustration.... It felt like there is something else and more deeper than the way she points the situation......

I frowned, replaying the conversation in my mind.

What had I said that pushed her buttons?

Was it something about Jungkook?

I know Y/N admires Professor Jeon..... everyone do, and who will not... He is a great inspiration for everyone..., but there was something in the way she looks at him, something that made me concerned.

I shook my head, trying to dismiss the thought. It wasn’t my place to question her feelings or her actions. We are just classmates, after all. Yet, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to Y/N’s relationship with Professor Jeon than what meets our eyes....

The idea made me uneasy, not because I had feelings for Y/N, but because I cared about her as a friend. If she was getting too close to Mr. Jeon, it could lead to trouble... a serious trouble.

I need to talk to her, not to accuse or confront, but to make sure she is okay. I didn't want to see her get hurt, especially not over something as risky as a secret relationship. But as much as I wanted to help, I know Y/N wouldn’t open up to me easily, especially not after our argument.

I don't have any problems with Y/n being in a relationship with Mr. Jeon only if Mr. Jeon isn't a married person. I don't also have problems with the professor x student relationship because we can't stop ourselves from falling for someone. No matter who the person is...

Mr. Jeon has a wife and they might be a happy couple, I don't want Yn to break them apart nor getting herself hurt....

I will have to tread carefully, find a way to talk to her without pushing her further away. It was a delicate balance, one that I  wasn't sure I could maintain. But for Y/N’s sake, I had to try as I really care for her as a friend.......

Time skip

Y/N didn't have class, so after spending some time in the library, she decided to leave. As she walked through the hallway, she noticed Jungkook coming from a classroom. Their eyes met for a brief moment before they quickly looked away, careful not to draw any unnecessary attention. They were already being suspected, and neither of them wanted to create any more rumors.

As Y/N was about to walk away, a voice startled her from behind, making her flinch.

Jisoo: Boo!

Y/N sighed in relief and turned around.

Y/N: Jisoo! You scared me...

Jisoo: Hehee, sorry....! I didn’t mean to.... I was just passing by and saw you. What are you doing here? Don’t you have class?

Y/N: Not today. I just finished up at the library and was about to head out.

Jisoo: Lucky you! I just got out of mine. It was super boring. Phew!!!

Y/N: Yeah, I needed a break from studying too.

Jisoo: So, what’s the plan? Are you going home, or do you have some free time to hang out?

Y/N: I was thinking of taking a walk, maybe clear my head a bit.

Jisoo: That sounds nice. Mind if I join you? I could use a break myself.

Y/N hesitated for a moment, her mind briefly flashing back to her encounter with Jungkook. She didn’t want to risk running into him again, but she didn’t want to seem rude to Jisoo either.

Y/N: Sure, a walk sounds good.

Jisoo: Great! Let’s go!

As they started walking, Y/N couldn’t help but glance back in the direction where she had seen Jungkook. She wondered if he was thinking about her too, or if he was just as good at pretending nothing was going on as she was.

(Gurl, you haven't seen his duality yet...🤧)

Jisoo: So, I heard there’s a field trip coming up for your class. Are you excited?

Y/N: Yeah, it should be interesting. I haven’t really thought much about it yet.

Jisoo: You should! I remember when my class went on a trip last year.... it was a lot of fun. Plus, it’s a great way to take a break from all the stress of university.

Y/N: Yeah, maybe…

Y/N’s thoughts drifted back to Jungkook. The field trip was another opportunity for them to be near each other, but it also meant more chances for others to notice something. She had to be careful...more careful than ever.

Time skip

Y/N came back to her apartment after spending the evening with Jisoo as they spend some time hanging out. She went to her room and freshened up a little. After changing into comfortable clothes, she made herself a cup of coffee and sat on the couch to enjoy its taste. But her mind was clouded with so many thoughts.

The encounter with Rowoon made her more anxious, but the brief eye contact with Jungkook... "how he stayed so cool despite the suspicions" made her heart flutter. She knew they were walking a fine line, but the thought of their secret connection brought a smile to her face.

Every time she thought of him, it was as if the world around her disappeared, leaving only the two of them. She was engrossed in her thoughts when the sound of a notification brought her back to reality. She picked up her phone and saw that it was a message from Jungkook.

(On the Phone)

Jungkook: Hey!!

Jungkook: Are you okay? I’m worried we might have drawn too much attention today...

Y/N's heart skipped a beat as she read Jungkook’s message. She knew he was right, but she couldn’t help the excitement from their shared moment.

She thought to herself, "How does he always know what’s going on in my mind?"

She replied back..

Y/N: I’m fine, just a bit overwhelmed... and I’ve been thinking the same... We should be more careful.

Jungkook: I couldn’t help but notice how tense you looked earlier. It’s not easy, is it?

Y/N: No, it’s not... But despite everything, I can’t stop thinking about how happy I am whenever we’re together.

Jungkook: It’s the same for me. I wish we could have more moments like that, without having to look over our shoulders.

Y/N’s curiosity piqued at his words.

Y/N: More moments like that...? Are you thinking about us going somewhere....

Jungkook: Umm... Maybe... There is a place I have in mind. Somewhere we can be ourselves, away from everything where we can spend some time... Only us..

Y/N’s heart raced as she pieced together what he was suggesting.

Y/N: Are you... asking me on a date?

Jungkook paused before replying, the idea clearly making him smile on the other end.

Jungkook: Would that be so bad?

Y/N couldn’t help but smile, her nerves mingling with excitement.

Y/N: No, it wouldn’t. Where did you have in mind?

Jungkook: Do you remember that hill where we went last time? It’s secluded, and no one will see us there.

Y/N: That sounds perfect... This weekend?

Jungkook: This weekend it is. I’ll pick you up, and we’ll go somewhere safe. Just us.

Y/N smiled as she read his last message, her anxiety momentarily replaced by happiness.

Jungkook: Goodnight, Y/N. I can’t wait to see you.

Y/N: Goodnight, Jungkook. I’ll be counting down the days.

--

Y/N sat back on her couch, feeling a wave of warmth from her coffee cup. As she thought about her recent conversation with Jungkook, a smile spread across her face. His message had brought a sense of relief and happiness that she hadn’t felt in a while.

Jungkook had sounded genuinely concerned about her, and that comforted her. When he suggested spending time together, it felt like a soothing escape from the stress and worry she had been carrying. The idea of going out with him, away from the prying eyes of their university and the pressure of their secret, made her heart flutter with joy.

She pictured their upcoming outing—a visit to the small hill they both cherished. It was a place where they had first shared their true feelings for each other. Just thinking about it filled her with excitement. The thought of watching the sunset together, away from everything, made her feel both calm and thrilled. It was a chance to be alone with Jungkook, to share moments without the burden of their complicated situation hanging over them.

Y/N realized that the complexities of their relationship seemed less daunting with Jungkook’s support. His simple, caring message had given her a new perspective and a sense of hope. She felt lighter, as if a heavy weight had been lifted off her shoulders.

As she finished her coffee, Y/N’s mind was filled with happy thoughts of Jungkook. Despite the difficulties they faced, the idea of spending time with him brought her immense joy. She looked forward to their time together with eagerness, feeling a renewed sense of connection with him.

The worries and doubts she had about their secret relationship were still there, but for now, she let herself enjoy the happiness of their upcoming date. Jungkook’s message had given her a reason to smile and a small glimmer of hope for the future.
