Chaptet 11: Tyler
"So... The two crazies wanna fight, yeah?" I smirked to myself, "Come on guys, this will be good.."
"There's bound to be blood" Adena sighed, closing her eyes "Lots of it. At least it’s red..."
Renny looked up at her, "Does that mean I can't watch?"
"We better go" Sonic said.
I nodded, "Watching two chicks fight? This will be good~"
"Head out of the gutter." Sonic growled at me.
"It's not in the gutter." I smirked, "It's-"
"Don't start." The foxy girl said, walking outside.
"Oh, I have yet to start." I chuckled, watching her walk out. Her hips swayed as she strutted out, her big, fluffy tail flicking. I smirked again to myself, watching as she walked, the view was definitely amazing.
Sonic followed her out, blocking my field of vision. Nor did it help as everyone else followed him. I growled, falling to the back of the group, just great. Now I can't see the chicks fight as well.
Zero stood across from Haven, giggling softly. The said wolf was holding a bow, growling in return.
Sonic bit his lip unsure about the fight, "Please don't kill each other."
"We will..." Haven said, running at the red hedgehog. Zero slashed at her. Haven ducked and whacked Zero with the bow. The hedgehog stumbled back with a growl. I chuckled, watching the two circle each other. The wolf then aimed an arrow at the hedgehog. Zero grabbed the arrow as it flew at her, the wood breaking in her hand.
I felt a coolness settle over the area, a sudden burst of cold air going against the wind. My eyes rose, and I looked around, a chill running down my spine, and not in the way I liked.
Standing by the door, half hidden, was a beautiful white-to-blue ombré fox who looked similar to Adena. She was watching the fight, her visible goldeneye locked on Haven.
I glanced back at the fight, before chuckling and walking back towards the door. I hadn't seen this gem at all, and I want to... Get to know her, to say the least.
However, the second she saw me coming, she turned and vanished back into the house, leaving the area she was in icy. I raised a brow, following her inside and doing my best not to fall on my ass. The ice didn't stop. It lead all the way up the stairs and down the hall to the last door.
I chuckled to myself, maybe I'll get to know her... A little more quickly.
Hurrying to the room, I tripped, falling on my face, "GAHH!"
Well that's what I get for being hasty. I really need to work on that..
Grumbling, I stood, leaning on the wall. That fox girl better be worth almost breaking my face...
"... Are you okay...?" Someone asked, in a soft voice.
My ears rose and I looked over. The fox was peeking out of her room, mainly hidden by the door.
"Oh..." I leant on the wall, smirking lightly, "Yeah I'm perfect."
"You are not hurt?" She asked, not fully looking at me, or at all really. Apparently the ground was more interesting.
"What? No no." I respond, "I fall for pretty girls all the time, I'm used to it."
"But.. They are all outside..." She looked confused.
"You aren't."
"What do you mean?" Wow she's dense.
I sighed, "I'm calling you pretty."
"Me... Why would you think that....?" She looked away. Ah so she's insecure...
"Well I mean... Look at you." I smirked, standing closer to her, "You’re slick, cool stuff."
She started to close the door, "You should stay away..."
"Now come on, why should I?" I went to step forward. Her door closed completely.
I huffed, "Don't worry... I'll get you yet..." I mumbled, before walking off.
And falling flat on my ass.
"Ow!!"
There was a soft giggle "Well, well, I should have known you would go after the pathetic ones." Adena walked over, the ice melting.
I looked up, "So you admit to being pathetic?"
"I was talking about Amaya." She growled "You couldn't get me even if you begged."
"Oh please." I stood, eyes glowing bright, "I don't need to beg~"
She rolled her eyes and turned away, waving a hand that was covered in blue flames, a pulse of heat spread over the area, melting any last pieces of ice.
I stood, dusting the water from my fur, "Thanks..."
She huffed, "I always have to clean up after that brat."
"Your one to speak... So how is the fight going?"
"It's dragged out, Zero's toying with Haven and the dog is just getting irritated.”
"Hm.. I'm not sure who I want to win."
"I don't care," Adena shrugged her exposed shoulders, "As long as I'm here, I don't care about the other girls, honestly."
"Big ego much? Almost as big as-" My eyes trail over her chest and hips.
"My 'ego' isn't what's doing the talking." She lashed her tail across my face, "I don't let such pride get in my way. I just don't care for anyone here.. Well, aside from Silver and that little boy."
"Yet Silver doesn't like girls and the boy is very... Well..." I rubbed my cheek, "Weird."
"This coming from you?" She walked down the hall to a door, opening it. I guess that's her room. I grumbled, walking past her room and glancing in.
Adena closed the door in my face "Don’t even try."
"Brat..." I mumbled, before walking outside again. Zero was in the middle of trying to pin Haven down.
I chuckled lightly as the wolf tried to kick the other in the stomach. She hit her mark, Zero letting out a pained yelp and I could see her grip loosen. Watching the wolf then push the hedgehog over and pin her to the ground excited me. Looking over her, I knew she'd be easy to talk to.
Zero growled, trying to stab Haven with her knife. Haven dodged the attacks, pinning her hand down. Zero struggled, hissing and growling, sounding more animal than... Well than normal people.
I frowned, still remembering how she tried to take my eyes. For once I was thankful Sonic was there to stop her, but I won't admit that.
I could tell the hedgehog was getting tired, her movements slower than usual. The wolf noticed this too, as she took the knife from the hedgehog's hand, raising it over her head. She just stared up at Haven, her struggling coming to a stop. Sonic started to step forward, about to call the fight off, however before that could happen, Haven swung the knife down, and I heard Renny cry out from behind the freak Raizor. However the knife landed next to Zero's head, and the wolf stood.
"Good fight."
The hedgehog didn't move, just laid there, staring up at the sky.
Haven held her hand out, "I said good fight."
After a moment, a slow, soft laughter came from the red psycho. Her body twitching a little. The wolf tilted her head, and I myself, and a good chunk of everyone else, took a step back.
"Soooooo.... Yoooooou beeeeat me...." She giggled, "Thaaaaaats neeew...."
"Never been bested before?"
She sat up, shaking her mess of quills, "Theeey won't be haaaapy... Noooo...."
"Who won't be?"
Without answering Haven, Zero gets her knife and stumbled back into the house.
"Uh... Wh-What was that about?" Raizor asked.
Sonic pat his head, "I don't know... But something tells me we don't wanna know." He looked to the wolf, "What was that about? For a moment I thought you were about to kill her!"
"That's what I wanted you to think." She chuckled, "A good trick of the mind. I know you said no killing so... I thought I'd at least follow that rule."
He blinked before shaking his head with a soft laugh, "You will be an interesting addition to the house."
"I'm a living being, not a decoration."
"You know what I meant."
"I might have." She crossed her arm.
I cleared my throat, stepping forward, "I must say, you are a good fighter."
"I know."
I smirked, "Anything else you're good at~?"
"Tyler, no." Sonic glared at me, "I'd be careful with this one, he's sexual."
"Sexual?" She tilted her head.
"He can't control himself around women." Sonic patted her head, "Just say no and you should be fine."
"Okay..." She gave me a wary glance, and I smirked back.
"That or stay around Zero, she'll set him straight." Sonic shrugged, "In any case, I better get going."
"Okay."
"That red chick can't scare me off for long." I rolled my eyes, "She'll learn not to threaten me one way or the other."
Sonic gave me a look, "You say that, yet every time you try with her you almost lose something."
"Because I haven't got my grasp on her yet. I will. I always do."
"Please." Sonic scoffed before bidding farewell to everyone.
"Wh-Where are you going?" Raizor asked.
"Home, it's getting late." Sonic looked up at the sky "Of course you can go to bed whenever you feel like. Aside from Renny."
Renny nodded, "Okay."
Before he could get far, his phone began ringing. He answered with a 'yellow'. After listening for a moment, he cried out "THEY WERE WHAT?!"
We all stared at him.
He looked at us, eyes wide, "Silver and Shadow are missing!"
