How dare they cross into my territory! I showed them... They shouldn't come back here... I still couldn't believe I missed though. I haven't missed in forever. The forest was quiet once again. The fox could have burned it all down..

And I was NOT going to watch my home burn down again... Taking a deep breath, I jumped from the lowest branch of a tree and landed on the ground.

I hate heights.

But it gives me an advantage when firing with arrows...

My arrows littered the ground around where the two intruders ran off to, one covered in blood. I smirked to myself and lifted the arrow. With this scent, I'll be able to track down the child if he ever comes back. And next time. I won't miss. One of my arrow, sadly, was burned with the fire that vixen had.

"I'll get her for that." I growled loudly to myself.

"I can't believe they were attacked..."

"Yeah I know... What did they say it was again?"

My ear twitches and I turned sharply, more intruders?! Growling, I climbed the closest tree. Taking a deep breath and not looking down. Soon I spot two hedgehogs emerge from the undergrowth.

The blue one stopped, looking around, "Uhh... Silver, I think I just found it."

The other one, Silver, looked around, "Where?"

I lowered myself against the branch, trying my best to blend in.

"Look, arrows." He points at the arrows I hadn't gotten.

"Oh wow..." The other hedgehog, he was a silver colour, like his name-sake, picked one up, and I had to bite my tongue, "Sonic, look at this! These are really old!"

"Yeah, yet still useable."

"And look at the markings..." Silver took a closer look, "It's a wolf symbol! Do you think this has to do with the Spirit Fighters?"

I tensed, ears twitching to the name of my family. How could they know..

"Let me take a look." Sonic took the arrow from him, eyeing the symbol. "I think so.." He frowned, "I only met a few of the Spirit Fighters, Sal did most of the visiting."

"I heard the leader use to be really scary..."

I scoffed quietly, like they'd know my father...

"Oh he isn't so bad. His wife set him straight if he got out of line with anything." Sonic chuckled.

True that...

"Oh... Well at least she was sensible." The other hedgehog sweat-dropped.

"And intelligent. Heck I don't think I've seen anyone else solve a problem as fast as her! Well... Sal comes close."

Sal... Why does her name ring a bell?

"C'mon, let's head in deeper."

Oh no you don't... My bow appeared in my hand and I took aim, shooting at the blue hedgehog.

He looked up, "Yikes!"

In the time it took me to blink, he was out of the way. So he's fast eh? I smirked, before teleporting somewhere else and shooting again, before appearing in another tree and doing the same. It was a mess of arrows. Sonic ran around, evading each one. Even Silver was using some sort of strange power to stop my arrows. Eventually I stopped, panting silently against a branch.

"Where are you?!" Sonic growled.

"Like I'd tell you..." I huffed to myself.

"Well at least I gave you a chance, Silver." He looked to the hedgehog.

The hedgehog nodded, closing his eyes, before he waved his hand outwards, sending a pulse through the air. A loud sound went through my ears, forcing me to cover them and the knock of the pulse took me off balance. I fell from the tree, a strangled scream coming from my throat. Before I could hit the ground, I fell into strong arms. The blue hedgehog holding me gave a small smile.

"Well hi there, nice of you to drop in."

I looked up at him in a daze, before shaking my head and growling, "Let me go!!" I began to struggle in his grip.

He held on tight, "First, are you the one who attack our friends?"

"What's it too you?!" I glared up at him, kicking my legs.

"Silver, help." He grunted from effort of holding me.

The silver hedgehog nodded, before I started glowing. I couldn't move...

"Hey! I said, let me go!" I yelled angrily.

"Nope, you have explaining to do."

"I don't have to tell you anything!"

Sonic looked to Silver "What should we do?"

He shrugged, "Let Zero have her until she talks?"

"Eh, that's a little extreme... You sure it would work? I don't want to risk her getting killed."

"Pfft... I'd fight whoever your talking about easily, with my hands tied behind my back." I huffed.

Sonic chuckled "Alright, we'll see about that." He turned away and started walking the way they came, "C'mon, let's see how long she lasts."

Silver nodded and followed, bringing me with them.

"Hey! Don't you know who your dealing with?!" I shouted.

"We'd know if you told us." Silver rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, I'm Sonic the Hedgehog and this is Silver, who are you?"

"All you need to know is that I'm a member of the Spirit Fighters, the leader's daughter."

"So there were survivors? How many?"

"I'm the only one..."

"Oh..."

"And don't think I'm going to help save the clan OR the wolf species either..." I crossed my arms, glaring at the two.

"Save species?" Silver tilted his head.

"Reproduction..." Sonic said.

"Oh... No no, we don't do that." The hedgehog shook his head, "No, we do something else."

I rose a brow, "What exactly?"

"Huh?" Sonic looked at me confused.

"What is it you do? Kidnap people and torture them?"

"No! Well... Not normally.." He sweat dropped, "We won't have to if you just tell us what we ask of you."

"As I said before, I don't have to tell you anything."

"So be it..." He sighed and took off, breaking sound.

Silver sighed, before he then grabbed me, flying after the blue hedgehog, just not as fast. I was trying to get out of his grip, kicking my feet and elbowing him in the chest.

"Let me go dammit!" I yelled.

It wasn't long before we arrive at a large grey building, from the outside it seemed old.

"What is it?" I tilted my head, now curious.

"The home of a few people we took in." Sonic opened the door.

"So I'm not the only victim?" My ears rose.

Silver walked in, "You could say that..." He chuckled.

Sonic called out, "We're back!"

"Yay!" The small hedgehog from earlier ran over, "Did you find him?"

"Her, actually."

"Her?" He tilted his head. I noticed his ear was bandaged up, and I growled. The small hedgehog's head turned to me.

"Is that her?" He asked.

"Indeed."

"Sonic? Is that- oh!" The red fox from before stopped at the sight of me. She pulled the kid into her protectively, eyes narrow. The child seemed to cling to her, and I smirked,

"A protective mother? But your a fox, and he's a hedgehog."

"What of it?" She hissed, her fluffy tail wrapping around him.

"It's cute." I chuckled darkly. At this, another hedgehog walked downstairs, a black one at that. He glanced at me, before smirking,

"Did Silver find another female already?"

"Shut it Tyler, it's not like that, and you know it."

"Then why is he holding her like a bride~?"

The hedgehog holding me put me down instantly, his cheeks turning pink, "Shut it Tyler..."

Tyler, the black hedgehog, only chuckled in response, before walking around me.

"A dog? Did you find her curled up behind a dumpster?"

Dog...?

"I'm not a dog!" I yelled, swinging a fist at him.

Sonic let me hit him, "Well can't say you didn't deserve that."

"Ow!" He grabbed his nose, which already had blood running from it, "If she's not a mutt, then what is she?"

"A wolf!" I yelled and kicked at him. He was prepared this time, and wrapped his hand around my leg, pulling me forward and grabbing my shoulders.

"I couldn't give a crap what you are, only that your female~"

"Tyler, enough." Sonic hit him over the head.

"Ow!" He glared at Sonic, "Aren't I allowed my fun?"

"We brought her here for information, not so you can take another girls V card."

"V card?" I tilted my head.

"Wow... How old is she?" Tyler glanced at Silver, now seeming to be serious, "She looks old enough to know what 'V card' means."

"She's one of the last Spirit Fighters, honestly I'm not surprised but explaining that can come later. Where Zero?"

"Zero? Upstairs, why?" He tilted his head.

"We need her help, thanks" Sonic started up the stairs.

Silver followed, forcing me to go with him, "And we'll need some rope or something.."

"Why?"

"Well she," He nodded at me, "Believes she can take Zero on with her arms tied behind her back."

"Oh, wait we are taking her seriously? Well... I know I have some rope in Zero's room."

"Wait, you weren't taking it seriously?" He chuckled, "It sounds like a tough challenge, I wanna know if she can do it."

"Eh, I don't know but okay..." He said unsure.

"Sonic, if she can defeat her, then we'll know her potential and try to reason with her."

"I'm right here!!" I yelled, once again struggling in his grip.

"Hm.... True. Heck we can handle Zero just fine but... You got a point. We won't be here all the time so it would be good to have someone in the house who could take her out if needed."

"Well..." Silver sweat-dropped, "I don't fancy leaving someone we don't properly know with Renny around. I mean, she did attack him. If anything, when she survives, IF she survives, you take her home to find out more about her, like her name." He glanced down at me, before offering a weak smile, "We saw what you did with those arrows, and it was pretty amazing, let's see what else you can do."

"And what if I don't?" I growled.

He shrugged, "You'll die."
