"Off to bed now all of you!" I yelled out.

My voice boomed over the egg shell colored walls of my house and into the twins room. Blue painted the ceilings of their room and three kids rushed by me in a flash and into the rooms dressed in night clothes.

As I walked by the huge windows of their room, moonlight from the crescent's body shone through brightly, despite the light in the room being on.

I just glided over the plush, cream carpet after admiring the moon's beauty. And as I flicked the light switch down I hear a symphony of voices yelling my name.

"MOM!" The trio screamed.

I smile as I see three little people circled around me. Siri had her still developing thirteen year old body slumped ontop the bed. 

Her mouth stained slightly red from the Twizzlers she was currently demolishing.

Darby, Dakota's twin, was standing tall for a ten year old and was begging Siri for her candy like a puppy. But Siri was having none of that and guarded her sweets as a grizzly would her cub.

Speaking of bears, our pit bull Grizzly decided to make an appearance and was licking my son Dakota to death. His five-foot tall frame getting crushed by the large dog and his face became smothered from the dog's brown fur.

I laugh lightly at the scene in front of me. I kinda couldn't comprehend how this is my life. Four kids and a good job with an equally loyal husband. I never expected it all.

And I love it.

"Siri! Share with your sister and Grizzly off Dakota NOW!" I screamed. I instantly calmed the chaos and bring the volume level down immensely.

This all of course led to my sixteen year old coming up to the room with a teed off look and blood shot eyes.

"What's with all the noise?" He asks with a mix of irritation and sleepiness.

"Nothing Kalani, we were all just about to hear mommy tell a story." Darby says to the teen.

Kalani laughs and sits next to Siri also stealing her candy.

"HEY!" Siri yells but she is ignored by everyone and the children all look at me expectantly.

"Well, Geo, can we hear a story?" Kalani asks smiling. I smile back at the nickname and sit next to my children on the floor.

I pick up Dakota and place him in my lap. Though he is too old he stays there enjoying my comfort.

"So. Y'all wanna hear a story eh?" I asks smirking mischievously.

They all groan out an exaggerated 'yes' and I just chuckle in response.

"Well what do you wanna hear?" I ask shaking Koala, my nickname for Dakota.

Then it seems as if everyone, even Grizzly went into deep thought.

Then Darby's eye's suddenly brighten.

"LIGHTBULB! How about the story of how Grizzly was named and born!" She squeals excitedly.

But numerous groans exits everyone at the suggestion.

"No way, I've heard that story way too many times. Can we do something else?" Dakota says while his twin pouts disappointingly.

I tap her on the nose and lean towards her ear.

"Maybe next time bug." I whisper and look at the others patiently.

Then Siri raises her hand euphorically and gazes at me.

"What about how daddy became President!" She asks. And I laugh at her enthusiasm. But before we could all agree Kalani intervenes.

"No." he says.

We all stare at him questionably but he just ignores our looks.

"I have a better one. How about how you and the gang were back in high-school. How were you guys back then?" Asks Kalani.

Everyone brightens considerably by this and Siri pipes up.

"Yeah! I bet you were popular back when ma." She says with a grin.

I laugh boisterously and they all stare confused.

"Haha, no. Sweetheart, that's nice but no we were not at all popular." I say with traces of humor.

"What?" They all say.

"Not even Auntie Eaden?" Darby questions.

"Oh, her? Now that's a different story. Now she was the popular of the popular. Me and her even used to be enemies!" I cackled like a witch from the memories that the kids had yet to know.

They all looked extremely shocked by this but before they could asks any questions I raise my hand, successfully silencing them.

"Do you want to hear the story?" I ask full of suspense.

They all nod quietly, even Kalani who is usually talkative.

"It all started at Closed Gate High, with a new girl named Geovana Daris..."
