The Next Day 

You were walking into the walk-in-closet, looking over all the clothes that the future you owned. Clearly the types of clothes you wore changed a lot over the years. Usually you wore anything comfortable, but now most of the closet was filled with mostly business attire. 

“What’s this?” you mumble to yourself, your eyes catching a box on the top shelf over the hangers and tried to reach it. 

“Need some help?” a voice asked behind you, reaching for the box for you. 

“Thanks” you muttered once Jungkook handed you the baby blue box in the size of a shoe box. 

“What’s in there?” he asked curiously, leaning over you, watching as you held the lid, about to open it. 

“We’re about to find out.” 

You pulled the lid open, both your eyes landing on the pile of pictures within the box. 

“Oh my god…” you breathed, picking up the first picture on the very top.

You sat in a hospital bed, a bundle in your arms as a little head poked out of the blue blanket. Jungkook leaned over the side of the hospital bed, his one arm around you as the other held the blue bundle with you. You both grinned happily at the camera, even though you looked exhausted. 

Jungkook took the picture from you, gazing at it softly.

“Wow.” he muttered, his bunny teeth appearing in a smile. Your gaze shifted from the one he held to the next one on the pile. This one was you sitting in a hammock as you laughed at the camera, a hand resting on your large and round belly.  

Jungkook turned to look at the one you held, taking the box out of your hands before rushing out of the closet. You followed him, confused, only to find him sitting in the middle of the large bed, taking out a handful of the photos, and setting them on the bed and spreading them. You joined him with a grin, feeling him wrap an arm around you before showing a photo he held. In this one you were wrapped in his arms, your face covered from his as he kissed you, pink and yellow decorating the sky behind you as the sun set by the sea. 

You spent what felt like only minutes sitting on the bed, staring at each and every picture, when it had been nearly and hour, admiring the lives of your future selves. 

“Wait a second… is that…” you trailed off as another picture caught your eye on the bed sheets. You stared at the fourteen figures standing together, a large smile on each one’s face. You stood next to Jungkook and what looked like you sister, Hoseoks's arm wrapped around her waist, holding her close. You spotted another five women standing next to each of Jungkook’s friends. 

“Is that a baby?” Jungkook pointed to a little body in Jin’s arms you hadn’t noticed. You nodded in awe. 

“All of this…” you glanced at the pictures spread around you. “Jungkook, this is our future. This is how our lives are going to be in a few years.” you gazed up at the two dark brown orbs that looked back at you softly with so much love, a smile dancing along his lips. 

“I know.” he held your hand, caressing it with his thumbs softly. “We might have not spent a lot of time as a couple, but honestly, I’m ready to live this future with you Y/n.” his hand caressed your cheek as he stared into your eyes lovingly. “I can’t wait to share all these memories with you. I can’t wait to watch you walk in with your wedding dress and say my vows. I can’t wait to travel with you, and eventually watch your stomach grow.” his fingers caressed your hip. Your heart melted as he spoke, feeling all sorts of feelings. You felt extremely touched by his words. “Yes, I might hate our so called son right now,” he continued, making you giggle “but I can’t wait to start our own family with you.” 

“I love you so much.” you whispered, leaning in and placing a kiss on his lips, feeling him smile as he kissed you back, wrapping his arms around you and falling back onto the mattress with you on top of him. You giggled as your foreheads touched, admiring his handsome features beneath you. 

“I love you more.” he muttered before connecting your lips again. 

You both enjoyed the moment in each others arms, forgetting that it was your last day before you returned back to the time you came from, leaving everything behind to grow and live that life together.
