Now that me and Sunset faced off in the court's different sides, the atmosphere has completely changed as both our attention got serious.

Both our setters are right by our side, waiting for this match to start. She has Twilight and I have Applejack while our other teammates were watching in the side.

Comparing Sunset's height at me is absolutely terrifying, not to mention her wicked heavy attack and cross shots which may snap your arms of if your received it wrong.

Our captain maybe the one suited for the Ace title because of her skills but she lacks one key skill that might be my advantage in this match up.

Yes, she lacks speed and fast reflexes unlike me. With my speed, I might be able to counter attack Sunset and Twilight using me and Aj'a quick attack.

Since im a middle blocker, its no point to stop nor block Sunset's attack. It will just probably break through my blocks with her intense strength.

But on the other hand, my attacks might be stopped by Twilight since she's the lead middle blocker in our team.

With her intelligence and quick thinking, she can easily stop my attacks any time. Not to mention that she served as a libero last year which makes this even more harder.

Let's just hope me and Applejack's quick attack is enough to match our two 3rd years. And if we fail, im honored that I have played with them on my last match.

After Flash finally blew his whistle to call me and Sunset to the front, we walked up to him and faced each other afterwards.

This anxious feeling has kept me overthrown since I stepped foot into this gym court, paired with feeling in my stomach that makes me wanna throw up from nervousness.

But can my confidence over laps it all? Just facing Sunset in her eyes really makes me feel that I might loose to her.

F: "Heads, Rainbow Dash. Tails, Sunset Shimmer. Got it?" He asked before tossing the coin into the air, catching it and placing it on his arm afterwards.

There we saw the coin's tails was in front which means Sunset's team gets to serve first, making me gulp in slight fear.

F: "The match will begin soon." Flash told us, giving the ball to Sunset.

But before Sunset could even walk back to her side of the Court, she firstly gave me one last look which made the anger within me rage even more.

Ss: "Make sure to receive my serve with your hands, not your face. I dont wanna knock you out in my first serve."

Rd: "Don't worry, I will.." I replied in slight confidence, walking back to my side after.

Now that both teams are ready and waiting for Flash's word. I quickly scouted the area, looking for the possibility where the ball could land.

Since this is only a 2v2 competition, its gonna be even more difficult cause I have to receive all of Sunset's deadly spikes without them knocking nor slamming directly to my head.

As soon Flash finally blew his whistle, Sunset quickly stepped backwards before throwing the ball into the air, doing her 3 step approach and jumping at the right time with such height to slam the ball with hard force with her right hand.

The ball then immediately flew directly at beside me. But when I was about to receive it, I didn't noticed that it already touched the ground, bouncing out of the court and landing on Rarity's head afterwards.

R: "Ouch! That hurt.. " Rarity pouted, throwing the ball back to Flash.

Pp: "HAHA! Do it again Sunset but this time hit Rarity in her face!"

R: "P-pinkie pie!"

What just happened? I just stood there in pure shock, still doing my receiving stance.

The ball was so fast that I didn't even had the time to react nor receive it.. It was faster and harder than any spikes I saw, it may even be the second leading besides Spitfire and Bonbon.

Is this the Ace's true abilities?

With my body still frozen from the sighting, I can hear Applejack yelling my name but I didnt had the guts or look back.

Aj: "Oi Dumbass.. Snap out of it! It was just a point out of 25.. Y-you can do better!" She yelled, stuttering in some parts.

A small irresistible smile then formed in my face as I turned around to look at her, making her smile at me as well.

Rd: "Y-your right.. It was just a point." I started, adjusting my stance to prepare for the next serve. "We can do better.."

Applejack nodded and smiled before facing Twilight in the other side of the net, still waiting for Flash to nlow his whistle again to make Sunset serve the ball again.

When Flash finally flipped the score board to score 1 point for Sunset, he slowly faced at Sunset, throwing her the ball again for her to serve since she won the first set

F: "That was a quick set.." He started, grabbing the whistle to blow it. "Let's just hope that attack didn't damaged Rarity's brain." Flash chuckled.

R: "Oh haha darling. Im fine but please target somebody else and not my beautiful face, okay?"

Ss: "I'll try my best, Rares." Sunset muttered.

Now with Sunset ahead in he score that quick, imagine if her true abilities were unleashed later on the match?

Its obvious, having a 1v1 one with her is impossible and a guaranteed defeat for me. But If Im not alone, me and Applejack will be unstoppable.

But the cowgirl's right, that was just a point out of 25. We can counter back with our demon fast attack when they least expect it.

We can win this.. I just know it.

Moments later, Flash finally blew his whistle again, making Sunset do another one of her intense serves which flew directly at me again.

Its clear that Sunset's been targeting me since I lack control on receiving the ball. But after a few months of training with a former Powerhouse, they thought me to become a better player!

So as soon the ball got closer to me, o quickly took step back and extended my arms forward.

And there I managed to receive the ball, causing it to go upwards while I tumble backwards to the ground from it's huge impact.

Fs: "I-its up!" Fluttershy yelled in surprise, pointing at the ball which was about to land on Applejack's fingertips.

Sg: "How did Rainbow even received that? It was Sunset's most powerful serves ever.."

Pp: "Its because she learned from the best." Pinkie pie stepped up after crossing her arms to her chest.

Before the ball could land on Applejack's hands, she quickly faced me with that serious look of hers.

Aj: "RAINBOW!" She yelled with her voice fulled with determination.

Just hearing her voice was enough to increase my confidence. With my instincts still rushing throughout my body, I quickly stood back up and ran to her left side, ignoring the pain in my arms from Sunset's serve.

While running with my casual speed, I saw Twilight running to my way, preparing her hands in front to ready her block.

But as soon I did my jump formation, I immediately changed course and ran to Applejack's right side with my full speed, leaving Twilight and Sunset in shock.

Tw: 'It was a bait, get her!" Twilight gasped before following me.

I need to be faster, even if its only a second, milliliter or just a few gap away from the blocker, I NEED TO BE AHEAD OF THEM!

And that the exact moment, Applejack tossed the ball to the right lane even though im not there yet.

As when they thought Applejack's toss was gonna land outside, untouched. I immediately jumped vertically, catching up with the ball and slamming it with slight force afterwards.

The ball then flew directly down before Twilight could even dive in to save it.

After I got back down, I slowly faced Flash who was now smiling at us while giving us a point.

An irresistible formed in my face as I heard some of my teammates cheer my name.. Aside from them, I turned around to Applejack.

She was smiling. I missed seeing that look on her face like how I missed hitting her tosses. I missed all of this, Im glad that Im really back.

Aj: "N-nice.." She mumbled, placing her hand behind her head.

Rd: "Thanks.. Your toss improved too." I replied after looking away from her eyes to cover my somehow blushing cheeks.

Aj: "I.. I know that, but thanks." She nervously thanked.

"AWWW!" We suddenly heard Rarity and Pinkie aww-ing beside us which made all of our attention turn to them.

Pp: "They're beginning to be besties again!"

R: "This is so sweet!"

Aj: "Ew. " the cowgirl laughed. "Besties  with this twerp? I dont think so."

Rd: "oh shut up you freaking giraffe!"

Aj: "In your dreams, shrimp." She winked back.

Our moment was suddenly interrupted when we heard Flash blow his whistle again. From being flattered and all blushing, me and Applejack then turned back to serious with our freaky grins shows confidence.

Sunset and Twilight on the other hand were just grinning back at us in a sinister way, preparing their stances beforehand.

Now that the score in tied, this is where the real match starts as we battle each other in this crucial match, betting both our most prized possession.

I know now that were unstoppable when me and Applejack our together..  This is our freak duo title, and Im about to have another title after this match.

All I have to do now is repeat our move for us to counter back.

But I spoke too soon..
