After a few minutes of playing passed, the score was now currently Manehattan- 23 and CHS- 16 in our second set. It was clear were getting wrecked in the second set after we lost the first one.

Applejack was still raging out a lot because her tosses kept on missing, Sunset was begging to get pissed since her attacks were being blocked, and the rest of my team were almost about to give up, except me.

What bothers me the most is if we loose this 2nd set, Manehattan will get the win. But seeing my team like this, I knew we have a chance of loosing.

Manehattan is only the second leading team in prefecture, imagine how more deadly Cloudsdale can be if we face them.

Ss: "Right, right!" Sunset yelled, making me snap back to to reality.

Aj: "F*cking get it this time!" Applejack yelled back before tossing the ball for the captain.

But as soon Sunset spiked the ball with her hand, another two man block looms in front of her which made the ball fly outside.

Ss: "Danm, cover!"

Pp: "Got it!" Pinkie pie replied after diving into the sand just to save the ball with her right hand.

R: "Got it!" Rarity cheered, passing the ball back to our setter.

But when the bal touches the cowgirl's finger tips, my eyes went wide when I realized she wasn't about to toss the ball to any of us, instead she did an unexpected dump from the top.

With the other team's quick instincts, they immediately saved the ball before it touches their base and passed it to their setter after.

Aj: "Tsk!"

Rd: "Calm down SALTYjack you've been raging non sto-" I was cut off when she gave me another one of her scary death glare. "Okeh- Im sorry."

Aj: "Im gonna yeet you to the ocean after this."

Rd: "If you can loser. Hey can you like I dont know.. Toss to me now?!"

Aj: "Chance ball!" She yelled while receiving the ball, ignoring my question.

Rd: "Jackass." I muttered to myself before running beside Twilight to do our weak ass block.

Ts: "On 3 okay?"

Rd: "Okay!"

Ts: "One, two-"

Before twilight could even finish, I immediately jumped ahead of them as I reached both my hands to the air to block their attack.

It may seem wrong to jump early without Twilight's permission but the other team's ace's attack was coming that very moment.

As soon she spiked the ball with full force, it went directly to my right hand, making me gasp in slight pain.

Rd: "Ack! One touch!" I yelled to hint my team.

After I got back down to the sand, I decided to run to Aj's side to do our quick attack, but when I noticed there was blood on the sand, I slowly checked my hand.

Rd: "B-blood..?" I gasped in pure shock.

Aj: "Rainbow!" Applejack screamed my name before jumping and tossing me the ball.

Of course I immediately ran after it and jumped vertically just to spike it. But the pain in my hand was aching, causing me to miss the ball and tumble out of the court afterwards.

Rd: "Ack!" I groaned while slowly getting up.

Ss: "Rainbow!" Sunset worriedly yelled as she told our coach for our last time out for the match.

All of my team then ran towards me to help me get back up. Applejack on the other hand grabbed my bleeding hand and gave me a worried look.

Aj: 'Y-you okay?"

Rd: "Huh? Yeah Im okay! Its just a scratch.." I obviously lied.

I don't want them to think this is serious even though it hurts a lot. If they do, coach Armor will send me back to the bench and forbid me from playing until I get better.

Ts: "Are you sure? Your hand is bleeding a lot and that was some fall back there.."

Rd: "Relax Twilight Im fine!" I growled back while pulling my hand away.

Suddenly, the coach ran up to us with a med pac in his arms. I just stood up straight and covered my bleeding hand behind my back.

Sa: "You okay kid?" He worriedly asked, placing the med kit down.

Rd: "Y-yeah Im fine coac- AH!" I gasp in shock as soon Applejack grabbed my injured hand and showed it to Shining Armor.

Sa: "Wow.. Thats a lot of blood."

Rd: "Am I gonna die?" I asked with a nervous tone in my voice which made Applejack burst in laughter. "What? Stop laughing you idiot!"

Aj: "You asked the same thing when you got a tiny scratch in your foot!" She laughed as tears of joy forms in her face, making the other upperclassmen joined in.

Sunset and Twilight was obviously holding in their laughter, Pinkie and the others on the other hand started to laugh out loud with the idiotic cowgirl.

Aj: "You really are dumb are you?"

Rd: "Says the girl who kept hugging her goddamn hat every time she sleeps!"

Aj: "H-hey! That's.." She started, clearing her throat after. "Personal.."

Rd: "What's so personal about a hat? And you know Im afraid of blood!"

Sa: "Okay thats enough, come with me." Coach Armor interrupted after placing his arm on my shoulder to lead me somewhere.

Rd: "Am.. I?"

Sa: "Gonna die? No your not, your hand just got scratched when you blocked that ball."

Rd: "N-no its not that.."

Sa: "Sadly, its a yes. Your gonna stay at the bench for a while so Flash can fix your wound."

Rd: "How did you know- Never mind but please keep me in the game coach! This match is almost done and our team will loose if Im not in there!"

Sa: "Don't be too overconfident Dash. Manehattan is too powerful for us. We need to practice even more if we want to beat them in Nationals.*

Rd: "But-"

Sa: "No buts, now seat down." He replied before making Fluttershy move a little so I can seat beside her.

After he ran back to the side, Flash quickly grabbed his med kit and wrapped my hand with a bandage.

It pisses me off every time Im on the bench. I belong out there, not in then bench. Suddenly, my malicious thoughts vanished when I felt someone lay their head on my shoulder.

When I looked to my side, I saw Fluttershy with her usual cute smile. I just smiled back and looked back to the match.

Fs: "You okay Dashie?

Rd: "Y-yeah Shy, I just wanted to play some more, ya know?"

Fs: "I know." She started, cupping my cheeks to make me look at her eyes. " Im sorry for ignoring you these past days Rainbow.. Im really sorry."

Rd: "Heh.. Its okay Shy but- why did you do that? Did I do or say something wrong to you?"

Fs: No, no.. I d-dont know. Just forget about it okay?"

Rd: "O-okay.." I smiled while placing my right arm around her.

Suddenly, we both heard the whistle blew, making both of us look back to the game. But when the other team's coach scored their final point on the score board, my eyes widened in shock as I realized that we just lost the game.

Rd: "What happened?" I asked in confusion.

Fluttershy then leaned closer to my ear, making her cheeks turn red again.

Fs: "Applejack missed her toss again, we lost because of her."

Rd: "Wait what?!" I gasped before looking back to Applejack.

She was just standing there, she was looking at us as her hands quickly turned into fists.

Rd: "Do you think.."

Fs: "Think what, Dashie?"

Rd: "Applejack missed because of me?"

Fs: "Why would she miss? I mean she always misses her tosses back at the tournament last year." My friend answered with a sudden changed of tone on her voice.

Rd: "She once told me the reason why she misses her toss- You know what never mind." I lastly said before running up to Flash who was beside our coach.

Ss: "Oh God another loss for us again.. Good game, good game!" Sunset yelled after taking a sip in her water bottle.

Ts: "This is our 5th loss this past 3 days! And still no wins."

R: "Relax Darling, we'll eventually get our wins soon."

After I grabbed Applejack's water bottle, I quickly ran towards her who was now looking at the beautiful ocean view beside the court line.

Rd: "Hey.." I greeted with a warm smile, handing her water bottle.

Aj: "Hey.."

Rd: "You okay? You seemed.. Tense lately."

Aj: "Im okay, just pissed."

Rd: "Because you kept on missing your tosses?"

Aj: "Yeah- No.."

Rd: "Come on tell me, I thought you were able to manage the control of your tosses? What happened?"

Aj: "I don't know skittles hair its just.. That Coloratura chick has been flirting with me for days now. And it bothers me now that she winks at me during the game."

Rd: "Wow.. I never expected another girl to fall in love with SaltyJack." I joked with a nervous laugh.

Coloratura.. And Applejack? Why does it affects me now that Applejack told me? This strange heavy feeling came up to my chest, making tears form in my eyes.

Aj: "Hey.." The cowgirl started, placing her hand on my shoulder. "You shouldn't be jealous.."

Rd: "Me? Jealous? Nah.. You're imaging things jackass." I nervously denied while covering my blushing face.

Aj: "Eeyup, you are jealous! Aren't ya?"

Rd: "Okay, okay Im jealous! Just dont yell it out loud dumbass.."

Aj: "Dont worry.. I wont." She chuckled before swiping me off my feet, making me gasp in shock.

Rd: "Ahhh! Applejack what the hell? Put me down!"

Of course the other upperclassmen noticed us so they immediately ran up to us to give us our everyday teases, as usual.

Pp: "Wow Rainbow Dash's night and shining armor!"

Ts: "Does somebody have a phone with them?!"

R: "Ooh I have it's in my bag!"

Rd: "Rarity what the freak? Don't you dare video me!"

Aj: "Relax shrimpy, remember what I told you a while ago?"

Rd: "Uh.. That your still a virgin?"

Aj: 'What? Hell no its not that!"

Ss: "What the actual f*ck you actually told her that?!" Sunset laughed with the others.

Aj: "Yes but!" She was cut off when everybody started to laugh at her. "Okay screw this." She continued while walking closer to the beach shore.

Rd: "Okay where the hell are you taking me right now?"

Aj: " I told you Im gonna yeet you to the ocean so.. " she chuckled.

Rd: "W-wait wait no- YOU SON OF A BIIII-"I was cut off as soon she threw me into the cold ocean.

After I rose back up to the surface, I saw everybody was literally crying in laughter, except for Fluttershy and Coloratura.

Rd: "Bitch.." I continued after spitting out the salty water in my mouth.

Suddenly, Applejack unexpectedly threw her water bottle on the ground and took a few steps back, running and jumping into the water with me.

Rd: "Ahhh!" I screamed in shock as the water splashes all over me.

The cowgirl then rose back up to the surface and pulled me into a quick kiss, making our upperclassmen cheer back at the shore.

Aj: "Did I told you, you look so sexy when your wet?" She flirted, raising her eyebrows to make my cheeks turn bright red.

Rd: "I.. Screw you dude."

Aj: "Screw you too shrimp." She started, leaning closer to my face after. " Wanna make out after?" She continued before sucking my ear in a gentle playful way.

Rd: "A-again?! Ahh.. Bro you never stop do you!?"

Aj: "All day, all night baby."

Rd: "Okay your disgusting.. Do you realize you were just a pissed off salty girl like a minute ago? And now your a flirtatious as hell pervert?"

Aj: "So Romantic right?"

Rd: "Whatever.." I chuckled after giving her a quick kiss on the cheeks. " Its a shame that we lost to those Manehattan idiots though.. I thought I could really break their wall. "

Aj: "Yeah and the wall broke you."

Rd: "Only my arm dumbass."

Aj: "Whatever, their Ace was baddass though.. I mean I think she's stronger than Sunset."

Rd: "Yeah.. 1 on 1, I couldn't beat their Ace, she was more of an Ace to me."

Aj: "Of course you've still have at least 100 years to go. You dumbass."

I immediately jumped on the idiot and pushed her head down to the water to hopefully drown her.

Ss: "Oh God I think they're fighting again."

Ts: "Hey you two get back and dry off! We have another match in the next hour!"

Rd: "Y-yes! Coming!" I replied, slowly removing my hands away from Applejack, quickly swimming away back to the land to avoid her from catching me.

When I got back to the land, I can hear Applejack yelling my name. So I quickly ran away while still looking at her.

Suddenly, I accidentally bumped into someone, making me fall to the sand. When I looked back up, I saw it was the other team's Ace, Sweetie drops.

Rd: "I- Im so sorry!" I nervously apologized while getting back up to my feet.

Sd: "Oh its okay friend!" She started with a warm smile after placing her hand on my shoulder. "You seem to be panicking, is someone here to kill you?"

Rd: "Uh.. You can say that." I giggled before looking back, my eyes widened in shock when I realized Applejack isn't there anymore.. Is she hiding?

Sd: "Are you running away from that raging cowgirl?"

Rd: "Y-yeah! Do you know where she is? She's gonna kill me!"

Sd: "Now why would she do that? You Canterlot High are sure chaotic huh?"

Rd: "I accidentally- well no.. Purposely tried to drown her." I chuckled.

Sd: "Wow.. That's-"

Rd: "Stupid? Yeah I know. But can I ask you a question?"

Sd: "Sure kid! Hurry it up because were about to leave."

Rd:" Oh uhm.. How do you do a strong block? I've been amazed countless times whenever you block mine and our captain's attacks!"

Sd: "Are you seriously asking me? Wow.. Im flattered."

Rd: "P-please?"

She just chuckled before kneeling down to match my height and to face me in the eyes.

Sd: "Sorry.. I can't tell you this. But I gotta say, Im amazed with that quick attack of yours and that cowgirl.. You two really have a bond huh?"

Rd: "Yeah.. I trust her tosses. I can hit them even with my eyes closed!"

Sd: "Really? That's awesome!" She cheered after standing back up. "I know you want to be the next Ace, but Im after that title too and me and my team.. Will stop your freak attack."

Rd: "Your so on! Me and my team will break that Iron wall of yours and go to Nationals!"

Sd: "Game on kid, see you in Nationals." She lastly said before running back to her team.

I just waved goodbye as excitement flows throughout my whole body. Im gonna beat her, Im gonna break that wall down and beat Sunset in order to challenge Spitfire for the title.

There's still a long way.. But I know I can do it. All I need is Applejack by my side.

Rd: "Speaking of Applejack.. Where is sh- AHHH!" I screamed the last part as soon I felt someone smacked my head.

Aj: "What's up idiot? Ready to be yeeted to the ocean again because you almost drown me?"

Rd: "N-not now Aj.."

Aj: "Fine.. I've watched you and that other annoying chick talked and you looked serious that time, what did you talked about?"

Rd: "Nothing man.. She's just my new Rival."

Aj: "Listen Dash.." She sighed before placing her hand in my shoulder to pull me closer to her. "We're not flawless, we're work in progress.."

Rd: "And what the hell does that supposed to mean?" I asked confused as I lookes into her calm emerald eyes.

Aj: "It means you can beat her and Spitfire.. You still have a long way to go before getting the title of the 'Ace'. And I believe in you, I'll be right by your side."

And now, I have a new rival.. Im gonna break their iron wall soon, with Applejack by my side.
